by Brenda Noelke on Feb 16 2025
Hello, friends and happy Sunday!! Brenda here with a card featuring the stunning Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set from yesterday's Whimsical Wonderland release!! There's also a two-day Instagram hop full of inspiration from the creative team and special guests that started yesterday, so be sure to check that out as well!! Day 2 of the hop starts at 4PM CST!! Let's get to my card, shall we? I started by stamping the floral and butterfly images from the Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. Purchase the Hollyhocks in Bloom Bundle and save 10%!! For the background, I die-cut the plaid die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Cover Plate Die Set from white cardstock. I die-cut another panel of white cardstock with the smallest rectangle die in the same set, along with a bright pink panel with the largest rectangle die. All the layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. The hollyhocks were also adhered with liquid glue along the right side. The sentiments are also from the Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiments and butterflies were popped up with foam adhesive and this card was finished. I can't wait to color these hollyhocks with other mediums!! They're so much fun to color!! That does it for me!! Be sure to check out the IG for tons more inspiration!! You can get started on the PFS account HERE!! Have a great Sunday and happy hopping!! Brenda

Friend - A Peony of Contrast

by Brenda Noelke on Oct 22 2024
Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a friendship card featuring the stunning A Peony of Contrast Stamp Set!! This is definitely one of my faves from the October release!! I began by stamping the A Peony of Contrast Stamp Set onto white cardstock with pale tan ink for some no-line coloring. I colored it with Copic markers and colored pencils, then fussy cut it out. For the background, I spread Huckleberry Blue Paper Glaze onto a panel of navy cardstock through the Frame of Mind 6x8 Stencil with a palette knife. (I turned the stencil at an angle slightly for a little more interest.) Once it was totally dry, it was die-cut with the largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set. The peony was adhered with liquid glue. I also spread the Huckleberry Blue Paper Glaze onto a small piece of navy cardstock. Once that was dry, "friend" was die-cut from it using the Cheers My Friend Word Die Set, along with three more layers from navy cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the front of the card. I decided to forgo any sequins or gems and let the beautiful bloom shine. I can't wait to color this stamp set with all the mediums!! Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!! Brenda

Thinking of You Friend

by Brenda Noelke on Oct 15 2024
Hello, fellow crafters and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a floral friendship card featuring lots of goodies from yesterday's brand new release!! I started off by stamping the beautiful bouquet from the Beauty Found In A Vase Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added dots to the centers of some of the flowers with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out (bundle here). For the background, I white heat embossed the Polka Dot Flora background stamp onto yellow cardstock. It was die-cut with the second largest rectangle die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Die Set. It was adhered to a panel of bright pink cardstock that was cut out with the largest rectangle die in the same set. The floral vase was adhered with liquid glue. The top layer of the Friend Stacked Word Die was die-cut with bright pink cardstock once and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from vellum. All the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue. "Thinking of you", from the Vintage Heart Stamp Set, was white heat embossed on vellum and cut out with the Coordinating Die (bundle here). It was adhered across the "friend" die-cut, hiding the liquid glue behind the embossed letters. A sprinkling of sequins from the All About the Pinks Sequin Mix finishes off the card. I absolutely love all of these new goodies from the latest release!! I can't wait to share more of the new release with you!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful week!! Brenda

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you are all doing well!! I stenciled Paper Glaze Luxe: Twinkle Lights - Purple onto the panel through the You Make the World Shimmer A2 Stencil with a palette knife. Once dry, it was adhered to a panel of purple gingham cardstock from the Sweet Gingham Fabulous Glossy Cardstock Pack. The sentiment, also from the Blooming Trumpet Flowers Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The sentiment, flowers and leaves were all popped up with foam tape. Happy Wednesday, fellow crafters!! This week sure is flying by!! Brenda here with an encouragement card featuring goodies from yesterday's release!! I started by white heat embossing the flowers from the Sweet Summer Bellflowers Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then cut them out with their Coordinating Dies. For the background, I stamped the She Endured Background Stamp onto a panel of Bristol cardstock by coloring on the stamp with the same markers that I used on the flowers, spritzing it with water, then stamping it onto the panel. It was die-cut with the largest arched die in the Basic Die-cutting Die Set 1. I used the two largest arched dies in the same set to cut a frame from plum cardstock, then I cut the second largest arched die from vellum. The largest die in the A2 Rectangle Layering Die Set was cut from blue cardstock and the She Endured Background Stamp was stamped onto it with blue ink. All of the layers were adhered together with liquid glue and the flowers were adhered across the front of the panel.  The sentiment, from the Swanky Sentiments: Sympathy Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto plum cardstock. It was cut out with its Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape.  That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope the rest of your week goes well!! Brenda

Your Friendship Is A Blessing - Million Little Things

by Brenda Noelke on May 17 2023
Hello, Picket Fence friends!! Brenda here sharing a card created with one of my favorite sets from the May release!! I stamped the stunning floral image from the Million Little Things Stamp Set onto white cardstock with no-line coloring ink. I colored it with Copics, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I used a yellow gel pen to add some color back in to the stamen that I lost when coloring with my Copics. For the background, I die-cut the Slim Line Pierced Blanket Cover Plate Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a slimline white card base. The floral die-cut was popped up onto the background with foam adhesive. The sentiment is also from the Million Little Things Stamp Set. It was stamped with PFS Black Hybrid Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was adhered with a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive. A combination of Butterfly Bush, All About the Pinks and All About the Purples embellishments perfectly match the colors in the floral arrangement. That’ll do it for me today!! Be sure to check our the entire May release…it’s SOOOOOO GOOD!! Have a great Wednesday!! Brenda
