A Bride's Bouquet

Happy Friday to you!   Becky Roberts here from Inking Idaho with a beautiful wedding card. Weddings might look a little different but the bride and groom still get celebrated.  We have three weddings this summer that we would have attended but now we will just send a beautiful card and perfectly packaged gift...the benefits of having a ton of stamping stuff! I used the beautiful stamp set called A Bride's Bouquet. It has this image and several great sentiments for that special day. I colored the bouquet with Copic markers and hand cut it out.  I stamped the same image directly on the card so the stems would be there and I didn't have to cut them out. I placed foam squares behind the image and gently placed it over the stamped card.  I used markers to continue to color those little stems. I added  Gin & Tonic Sequins - oh how I LOVE this mix of sequins!! Before I did all that I lightly stenciled the background with the Fancy Kaleidoscope Stencil, which unfortunately is currently sold out and the Life Changing Blender Brushes.   Life Changing Blender Brushes.  A Bride's Bouquet Happy Friday Stampers! Christmas Shaker Card with Karen Reategui

by Karen Reategui on Jul 16 2020
Hello my crafty friends! Today I’m sharing this Christmas shaker card over Picket Fence Studios Blog. For this card, I have used new stamps from the July Release HO HO HO and Reindeer Stamps along with Gin & Tonic Sequin Mix. Let’s begin! I die cut this slim panel and applied inks to it using the Life Changing Blender Brushes. Next, with the help of my MISTI I stamped the Reindeer Stamp all across the slim panel using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. Then, I adhered a piece of cellophane wrap from a sheet of chipboard stickers. I cut the cellophane slightly bigger than my slim panel. Then, I folded every side of the cellophane and secured only three sides at the back of my panel using double sided tape. I added the Gin & Tonic sequins through the side that was still opened and then I closed it with more double sided tape. On a piece of acetate I stamped the HO HO HO Stamp Set using WOW! Embossing Pad and the heat embossed it with WOW! Metallic Silver Embossing Powder. I think this silver matched great the color of the sequins. I also, adhered this piece of acetate to the shaker. Finally, I added a white scalloped slim panel at the back and a red folded note card and my Christmas shaker card was ready! I hope you enjoyed this card and give it a try. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Karen

It's All About the Lime!

by Judy Rozema on Jul 06 2020
Today I am sharing three foodie cards for today's post; two are made with the new Fruitylicious stamp. While this fruit could be any citrus, I chose to make two lime cards today, because limes are my favorite citrus fruit. The first is a cute shaker card using the Gin and Tonic Sequin Mix. You will love the new mixes -- different sizes and shapes, all in a beautiful easy-to-see packaging! I stamped with VersaMark ink, and then embossed with Bullfrog EP. I colored with Copic markers, making one of the limes stand out with brighter colors, and Stickles around the rind. I added some fun lime patterned paper for a little interest on the back panel. My sentiment is from the previously released Pucker Up. My next card shows how easy it is to increase the 4x4 size, and line up the images beautifully in the repeating pattern using the MISTI. I again embossed with the Bullfrog EP, and colored with Copics, using a brighter palette. My sentiment is stamped in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I added three strands of Krenik silver metallic thread between the two panels. My final card today is also food related -- from the new Cooking is Art with a partial background using the new Triple Weave Stencil. I used Gina K's Blue Raspberry ink with my stencil and Life Changing Blender Brushes. I stamped the chef in Black Hybrid ink and colored with Copics. I fussy cut him out, and popped him up with foam tape. The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist. And of course, there is lime on that shrimp! It's a simply fabulous release, so head over to Picket Fence Studios to see it all! There is so MUCH MORE to check out! Shop {HERE} or click one of the links below!
