A whale of a Slimline Card

by Sandi MacIver on Jun 18 2021
Hey crafty friends, Sandi MacIver here and welcome back.  Today I'm sharing a New video on how to create the A Whale of a Slimline Card.  I'm using products from the June Release and I have them listed at the end of this post for you. The background for this card is created using the Life Changing Blending Brushes and blending Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. Next, I laid the Slim Line Rising Sun Stencil over it and blended Squeezed Lemonade to create the rays of sun. For the ocean floor, I used copic markers to color the You Were Mermaid for Me ocean floor image.  Cut them out and glued them in place. and the lovely Whale is from the "A Fishy Lot" stamp and Die bundle and he is die cut out and color blended around his edges. Here is the video walking you through the creation of today's card   Card Cuts: Card base:  White - 7 x 8-1/2, score on the 7" side at 3-1/2 Card front:  4-1/4 x 11, I used the second smallest die from the Slim Line Nested Rectangles dies to die cut the card front. Images:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 - white - stamp color and cut out images for overlays Here are the supplies used for the A whale of a Slimline Card:

Hello!  It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara.  The new release is here, and did you see all of the adorable mermaid sets?  I had so much fun playing with the new sets this month! The adorable mermaids on this first card, are from the A Fishy Lot Stamp Set.  I stamped the images in Black Hybrid Ink, onto white card stock, and colored them in using Prismacolor pencils.  Then I die cut the images using the Coordinating Dies.
