Hi, friends! Welcome to the Picket Fence Studios´ blog! I´m Silvana from Casa Magnolia and today I bring you a fun "partial" shaker card for this Halloween season.
I used a lot of the last release products, but also others from previous ones. The result is a very interesting and fun card, with a lot of details to look for. So let´s get started!
The card features the new Bee my boo? stamp set. It has a lot of cute ghost images, and I chose a few to color and set aside to decide which ones I´ll use later. Other new product you can find here is the Haunted Halloween Gingham Fabulously glossy cardstock. I diecut it with the A2 saying Hello Cover plate die. This die cuts the little rectangles from the inside too, but I decided that I wanted to make some of them like mini shakers, so I didn´t use them all. The reason for this was that the gingham pattern didn’t allow the sequin mix to be seen properly.
So I made a background with white cardstock, on which I put some Opaque Black Paper Splatter in some areas and used the Spider Menagerie 6x8 stencil in others, taking into account that those areas would be visible through the rectangles. Then I made the shakers: I put acetate in some of the rectangles and then put some foam tape under all the front piece. I filled the little shakers with the Hi, Boo! Sequin mix and glued the white background with the splatter.
After that I started to assemble the last pieces. I glued some of the gingham rectangles in three places. I put the ghosts over the gingham and the stenciled areas. I cut some bats form the Trick or Treat Halloween word set die with a foiled black paper and added them in some areas. I leave the center for the sentiment which I made from the same stamp set with white embossing powder over a black cardstock.
I finished the card by making some details with a white gel pen, in this case the Karin Decogel Pen. And that´s it!
It´s a card with a little bit of work, but totally worth it! The little shakers add extra fun to the ghosts stamp.
I hope you enjoyed it and try your own "partial" shakers!
See you in my next post.
Have a fantastic day!

Hello, friends! Welcome to Picket Fence Studios´blog! It´s Silvana here from Casa Magnolia and today I want to share with you a fun and easy Halloween card made with some of the new products from the last release.
The card features the new Trick or Treat Halloween word die set which has the phrase "trick or treat" "Halloween" word and three different sized bats. I cut two times the phrase with white heavy cardstock and stack them together. For the top layer, I foiled a piece of Solid Black Fabulous Foiling Toner Cardstock with the Silver Strobe Lights Fabulous Foiling Toner . I cut the bats in black cardstock and set all aside.
I made the background with alcohol inks and yupo paper. I stamped the new Cheers, witches stamp with embossing ink and black embossing powder. I know that yupo is not supposed to be heated, because it can curl if you over heat it because it´s plastic, but you can heat embossing over it. You need to be careful and not leave the heat gun in the same spot for too long or get it too close to the paper. It will get more time but it´s doable.
I assembled the card over an A2 card base, adding some black sequins for embellish. It´s a simple card but the alcohol ink background and the sparkle of the foiling make it stands and make it a fun halloween card.
I hope you like it and gives you an idea to your next Halloween card.
See you in my next blog post.
Have a fantastic day!

Hello, friends! It´s Silvana from Casa Magnolia here and welcome to the Picket Fence Studios´ blog! Today I want to share with you a Halloween card made with a sweet die from the last release. It´s called Nibbles the Candy ghost die and it´s so cute!!!
The die is like a cover die where you have all the pieces in one plate die. So, you can die cut once and color every piece with ink and the Pint sized paper Pouncers for example, but I decided I was going to use Paper Glaze for extra color and shine. So I cut four pieces of lightweight cardstock and spread over every piece a light and even amount of Paper Glaze in Marigold Orange, Agapanthus Purple and Daffodil Yellow colors. The remaining piece was made with Paper Glaze Luxe: Twinkle Lights . After all the pieces were dried, I cut them and put them aside as I started working on the background.
For the bakground I used the new Flowing 6x8 stencil with a grey ink and some drops of the new Paper Splatter Opaque Black. I cut the background in a piece of 3"x4 1/4" and glued it in the middle of a top folding card base. I put a thin strip of black cardstock in both ends to add contrast and a little detail. Then I started to assemble the little ghost and the rest from the different color pieces that I´ve already made.
For the sentiment I cut extra layers of a white cardstock and stack and glued them together for dimension. There are some details made with black cardstock, like the bats, the eyes and the hat base.
And that´s my little sweet ghost card! I´m very pleased with the result, specially with the colors that the Paper Glazes give to the card, bright and shiny.
I hope you liked it and try your own version.
Thank you so much for stopping by. See you in my next post.
Have a wonderful day!

Hello everyone! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this Halloween card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I used the "A Magical Lot Stamps” which I stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad” and then painted with alcohol markers. Then to give the stamps more relief, I used the white Gelly Roll in the areas where I wanted to give shine and the black Micron Pigma in the areas where I wanted to give more depth.
Below I used the “A Magical Lot Coordinating dies” to cut them out, but you can also carefully cut them out with scissors.
For the background I used the “A2 Ghost House Cover Plate Die” that I cut in black cardboard and then I prepared a sunset with distress oxide inks in very typical Halloween colors.
And for the sentiment I used a phrase from the “A Magical Lot Stamps” that i stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad”.
Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.
A huge kiss and until next time!

Hello and welcome to the Picket Fence Studios blog! It´s Silvana here and today I´m sharing a fun Halloween card made with some new products from the July release. You can see all the collection here.
In the background, I used the new Mini Hot Flashes Stencil with different tones of Distress Oxides inks imitating the colors of the fire. Then, I used the Mini Haunted Moon Blending Stencil in the top of the card.
Over the moon, I needed a flying witch so I used the one in the Slim Line Welcome to the Graveyard Blending Stencil. This malefic witch set on fire the woods of the A Nightly Sky stamp set.
To finish the scene, I heat embossed with white embossing powder a sentiment from the new Inappropriate Halloween stamp set.
The final result is a very fun card appropriate for that special witch friend.
I hope you like it and encourages you to use your stencils!
Have a fantastic week.
I´ll leave you the products list below with my affiliates links. Thank you so much for your support!

New Release - Haunted Ghost House
by Sammi Offield on Jul 25 2023

Hey crafty friends!! Sammi here to share a card featuring the A2 Ghost House from the new release! The new release is so AWESOME! It is such an amazing and huge release - definitely something for everyone!
For this card, the first thing I wanted to do was to create my spooky sky. Using the moon mask from the new Mini Haunted Moon stencil, I masked where I wanted the moon to be and then ink blended the sky using Distress Oxide inks. After I was done, I removed the mask and then stenciled in the rest of the moon using the rest of the moon stencil set. I then created the bats with some Black Pansy Paper Glaze along with the Bat Crazy 6x8 stencil.
While the Paper Glaze was drying, I then cut out the Ghost House with black card stock and then glued some yellow card stock in the window openings and where the light from the windows shines on the ground. I then cut another Ghose House out of black glitter card stock and glued it on top of the black piece, adding some white pigment ink to create a shadowy look. I then glued the house onto the card panel.
I then added the sentiment from the People are my Favorite, Mummy stamp and die set and then glued the card panel onto a A2 card base.
I absolutely love this set! So many possibilities and so easy to work with! Here is what you need from the new release to make this card:

Build a Halloween Scene Using a Christmas Stamp
by Theary Chea on Sep 12 2022
Hello dear friends!
I hope that you're having a wonderful week. Today, I want to share some inspiration to stretch your crafting supplies. This might sound crazy, but I used a Christmas stamp to create a Halloween card for this project. Yup, you heard that correctly. It's so fun to find a different use for your holiday-themed stamps, and it makes it that much more worth it when you're able to stretch it to work with two separate holidays.
This card used the masking technique heavily. If you know anything about me, I love to mask and color. Creating a one-layered card can be challenging, but using the masking method makes it that much easier. I used the Build a Gingerbread House stamp set to create a spooky house on my card front. Instead of using traditional Christmas colors, I opted for a darker palette to portray a creepy Halloween house. I used alcohol markers to color the scene as well as ink blending.
To add to the scene, I used the Slim Line Welcome to the Graveyard Blending Stencil and the A2 Claudron of Bats stencil. These stencils are excellent because there are so many different elements that you can use to build a Halloween scene. To give some of the images more dimension and texture, I applied a layer of Paper Velvet onto the stencil using my Mix Media Spatula.
I heat embossed onto black cardstock using white embossing powder, a sentiment from the Here For The Boo stamp set. And I added a black frame using the 5x7 Stitched Rectangle die.
To finish off the card, I wanted to add some embellishments. The Scaredy Cat Sequin mix is perfect for the scene I was building. The mix includes little black cats that I adhered to the card front and added white details on it to create more interest. I hope you found some inspiration to mix and match the stamp sets that you already have to create something unexpected. Until next time!Have a wonderfully blessed day!Theary Chea

Hello there! It´s Silvana here and I´m so glad to be here again in the Picket Fence Studios. Today I´m sharing an interactive Halloween scene card featuring some new products of the new release.
The first product I used was the A2 Spooky Tree die which I cut in a textured black cardstock and panel the little houses with vellum paper. This card has lights behind the house that turnoson when you press the Halloween word.
I ink blended the background to make the night scene with the moon. With the Life changing Blender Brushes the transitions between colors are smooth and well integrated. Then I used then new A2 Cauldron of Bats stencil with the new Paper Glaze Velvet in Blackboard color.
The word Halloween is heat embossed with white embossing powder and it comes from the new Cat plays Fiddle to the Silver Moon stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
If you want to see the lights in action, be sure to check the post in my Ig account.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you in my next post,

If You've Got It, Haunt It Tag

Hello! Larisa here and today, I'm sharing a fun little tag I made using the If You've Got It Haunt It (currently on sale!) and Triple Trouble Stamp Sets!
To create my tag, I die cut the smallest scalloped rectangle in deep purple card stock. Then I trimmed a piece of white card stock to fit inside. I stamped out my sentiments and my bats. Then I stamped and colored my witch image. After cutting her out, I added her to the center of the tag along with some gold thread. At the top of the tag, I punched a hole and added some orange ribbon.
This tag is quick and easy to make and perfect for added a fun and whimsical touch to your Halloween Treats! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Hello! It’s Rachelle and I’ve got a spooky graveyard ‘rocker’ card for you today featuring lots of the amazing Halloween products from the July Release!
I began by die cutting a 5” circle from heavy weight black card stock and scoring it in half to create my ‘rocking’ card base. I applied “Lime Christmas Green Paper Glitz” to the bottom half and set it aside to dry. A second 4.75” circle was die cut twice from heavy weight orange card stock, glued together, coated with “Autumn Persimmon Paper Glitz” and set it aside to dry as well.
The standing ghost from the “Not Scared? You Should Be!” Stamp Set was heat embossed with white power on heavy vellum and fussy cut. Since there are a lot of small intricate pieces on this gorgeous scene, I die cut the “Halloween Graveyard Cover Plate Die” on heavy black card stock using my metal plate adaptor and it cut perfectly! I backed the windows in the haunted house with lime green card stock to coordinate with my Paper Glitz, heat embossed the sassy sentiment and added some sequins from the “Trick Or Treaters” Sequins Mix Plus.
To assemble, I reinforced the score line on the ‘rocking’ card base with my Teflon Bone Folder and attached the orange Paper Glitz circle with Scor-Tape. After determining the ghost’s position, it was adhered in place onto the orange backdrop and the graveyard die cut panel was attached on top with foam tape and liquid adhesive. A couple of tiny die cut bats (from the Witch Slim Line Die Cutting System Insert) were added to finish up the card! I just love this interactive design and that giant ghost guarding the graveyard as it rocks from side to side!
Thanks so much for joining me today and happy crafting!
