Hello friends. It's Bobbi Lemanski here sharing another card using the new products from the February release by Picket Fence Studios. Today's card features the following new products:  Simple Blooming Daisies stamp set and coordinating Die Set Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies Layering Floral: Hardy Fern Die Sequin Mix Plus - A Bird's Feathers This 5" X 7" card is made from Neenah 80lb solar white cardstock.  To create this A7-sized card, I started by splattering the front of the card base with watercolor in purples and grays. Next, I die cut the arched window using a warm gray cardstock with Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. This die cut gives the appearance of a window background.  I stamped, die cut, and colored the floral arrangement using the following Copic Sketch colors: Yellows: YR27, YR24, Y19, Y08, and Y06 Fuchsias: RV99, RV69, RV09, RV17, and RV02  Greens: YG67, YG17, and YG03 I die cut four Layering Flora: Hardy Fern Die fronds to use with the florals I attached the fern dies for the background and added the florals using foam tabs to make the flowers stand out a bit from the arched design. I also stamped and die cut the sentiment and added it to the front with foam tabs. Lastly, a few sequins were added to accent the focal point florals.   You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. So Many Ducks In A Row

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 26 2025
Hello friends. It's Bobbi here with a few of my cute duck friends! This 5" X 7" card is filled with five ducks in a row and an extra two to playing by the water! Mother Duck is strolling through with her adorable bucket hat on. I'm using the following products by Picket Fence Studios:  You Are Quacktastic stamps and dies (Bundle) Scene Building: A2 Tall Grass Die My card is 5" X 7" and made from Neenah 80lb white cardstock for the card base and the card front.  To make this A7-sized card, I stamped, die cut and colored, using Copic Sketch Marker all the ducks, duck pond and greenery.  I used the following Copic colors: YR24, Y19, Y08, Y06, YR15, YR68 for the duck bodies. Other colors include B05, B02, B00, B000, R17, R14, C3, C1, YR67, YR17, and YR03.  To make this overall scene setting, I ink blended Tumbled Glass to the upper half of the card front to create the sky, I added the Scene Building: A2 Tall Grass Die cuts for the scene's background around the middle of the card. I also added some hand cut green hills for the ducks to walk on and added more grass to the front of the ducks. I nestled the pond into the grassy area and added some of the greenery images from the set. I used Copics to create the ground cover around the pond. I also added a white 1/8" strip below the grassy and stamped and the phrase in the white space.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Cup Runneth Over With Blooms and 'Shrooms

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 19 2025
I remember in the movie, Hope Floats, the young girl character, Bernice Pruitt says, "My cup runneth over." If I recall correctly, her grandma would often use this phrase from Psalm 23:5. It means that someone is so blessed or filled with good things that they have more than enough. I love that phrase. When I made this card, I thought about that phrase and just wanted to show that feeling in my design. It's Bobbi Lemanski here with a teacup full of goodness! I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios Whimsical Wonderland release products:  Hollyhocks in Bloom stamps and coordinating dies Mushrooms Aplenty stamps Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies Dainty Cup die Layering Flora: Hardy Fern die  This 5" X 7" card is made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock for the card base and front panel. To make this card, I started by die cutting the teacup top layer from an aqua cardstock and the shadow layer from white cardstock. I added a few highlight marks on the top layer using my white Gelly Roll pen.  To fill the teacup, I stamped, colored and die cut the flowers using the Hollyhocks in Bloom stamps and coordinating dies. I did the same using the Mushrooms Aplenty stamps. I fussy cut the mushrooms since I did not have the dies. They were very quick to cut out. For both the flowers and mushrooms, I used Copic Sketch markers in R29, R27, R17, R14, R22, and R20. I also used YG67, YG17 and YG03 for the leaves as well as E43, E42, W3 and W1 for the mushroom stems and some shadowing. Additional greenery was added to the teacup arrangement using the Layering Flora: Hardy Fern die. I cut the leaves from a green cardstock and filled in the arrangement with the fronds. With the teacup complete, I focused on the background. I splattered the 5" X 7" card front with black watercolor paint. I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints and a fan brush to create the splatters. I added a solid aqua scalloped arch die and an arch window pane die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. I attached the teacup in front of the layered arched die cuts using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit. Lastly, I added the "thank you" sentiment from the Hollyhocks in Bloom stamp set. This "cup has runneth over" with beautiful blooms and 'shrooms! You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios Whimsical Wonderland new release here. Hoppy Easter Bunny Basket

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 12 2025
Hello, friends. It's Bobbi Lemanski with some sunshine, flowers and a cute bunny, too! I've made a "Happy Easter" card for you today using the following Picket Fence Studios products:  Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter Coordinating Die SetLovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card FrontsBasic Die Cutting Set 1Easter Bop Sequin Plus MixBright and Shiny Day A2 Glossy Card Fronts This card is 5" X 7" in size. The card base is made from white cardstock. Here are the rest of the details!  To make this card, I started with a piece of gingham pattern paper from the Lovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card Fronts for the interior wall of this sweet scene. I die cut the beautiful arch window from white cardstock using the Basic Die Cutting Set 1. This window needed a beautiful outdoor scene so I added some sunshine using a Bright and Shiny Day A2 Glossy Card Front behind the arched window frame. I kept the bottom solid white on the card front and added the "Happy Easter" sentiment.  Next, I worked on the basket, bunny and floral designs from the Joyful Easter stamp set.  I used the Joyful Easter Coordinating Die Set to cut them all out. I stamped all three in white, plus a few more singular flowers to make the bouquet a bit bigger. Everything was colored using the following Copic Sketch Markers: Pinks and Reds: RV09, RV55, RV02, R27 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03 Browns: E59, E57, E55, E53, E51 Yellows: YR27, Yr24, Y19, Y08 Purples: V04, V06 After everything was colored attached together, I attached the basket of florals to the card front and added the bunny to the back of it. I used foam tabs to attach the basket to make it stand out a bit. Lastly, I added a few sequins to accent the design.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Lovely Lace and Florals

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 05 2025
Hi friends! As we get closer to Valentine's day, I thought pink lace and springy florals just seemed right to share. This 5" X 7" card is sweet, feminine, and lovely all in one. I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios products: Layers of Embroidery stamp Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter dies Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties To create this card, I stamped the Layers of Embroidery stamp design on pink cardstock using a fuchsia pink ink. I hand cut the bottom layer to accentuate the scallop design. I attached the background to a white card base. I left enough white space at the bottom to stamp "a little birthday note" sentiment in black from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set. I also added a striped pink and white ribbon two scallops up from the bottom.  I stamped the beautiful floral bouquet illustrated by the very talented Kelly Taylor for Picket Fence Studios, in black on white cardstock. Using my Copic Sketch Markers, I colored in the florals in bright, spring colors, making sure to color the lilies like Stargazer lilies or rubrum lilies. The tulips are done in reds and yellows and added some lilac colors, too. I die cut the florals using the Joyful Easter dies and attached the bouquet, positioning it over the ribbon, using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit from the background. Lastly, I added some dainty pearls in pinks and rose from the Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties. You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here.
