HELLO... It's Bobbi here with a big "hello" and a handful of lovelies! This card features the following Picket Fence Studios products:  Hello Word Topper Die Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Die Set Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies My card is 5" X 7". The card base, card front and many of the die cuts are made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock.  To make this A7-sized card, I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies.  I colored the images using my Copic Sketch Markers in the following colors : Browns: E59, E57, E55, E42, E11 Yellow and Yellow-Reds: YR27, YR24, Y21  Blues: BG72, BG71, BG11, BG10, B00, B000 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG63 I also die cut the Hello Word Topper Die and the Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Die Set. I used metallic dot paper for the hello and a nice green cardstock for the heart die. The tiny vine's flowers were cut from a coordinating aqua blue and a pretty blush colored cardstock. I added the florals to the green leafy heart and also added a few gems to the flowers' centers, too.  For the background, I splattered watercolor paint in gold, pink and black to the front. After it fully dried, I assembled the card with the (1) heart vine to the back, then the (2) "hello" die cut and lastly all the fun little elements from the Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies. Mixed Media Fall Hello Card

by Andrea Shell on Aug 08 2024
Hello there! It's Andrea back with you, and today I'm sharing a fall card featuring products from Picket Fence Studios' July release. Who else is ready for fall?!! Those gorgeous leaves are from the Layered Flora: Fall Foliage Dies. Aren't they awesome?! To create them, I first scribbled watercolor markers onto watercolor paper, spread the ink with water, and then dried it with my heat tool. I repeated the steps to build up the color before adding Opaque Black Paper Splatter. Once the paper was dry, I diecut it with the Fall Foliage Dies. I also diecut leaves from gold gllitter cardstock. For my background I used the Tree Bark 6"x8" Stencil. I placed the stencil over a panel of gray cardstock and pounced on gray ink with the Neutrals Paper Pouncers. I removed the stencil and blended the edges of the panel with the same ink using a Life Changing Blender Brush. To tie the background to the leaves, I added Opaque Black Paper Splatter before adhering the panel to a cardbase. I cut a diagonal strip of gray cardstock and attached it to my card with foam squares, trimming off the excess. I diecut "hello" from black cardstock using the Hello to You Word Dies and glued it to the strip. Next, I tucked the leaves under the strip, securing them with liquid adhesive. I finished the card with some gold glitter gems. Thanks for stopping by! Hello - Mophead Hydrangea

Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with a card today that features one of my favorite sets from the February Release that just released yesterday...the stunning Mophead Hydrangea Stamp!! I couldn't wait to color this beautiful bloom!! I began by white heat embossing the Mophead Hydrangea onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers and a damp paintbrush. Once it was dry, I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 white card base. For the sentiment, I die-cut "hello" from dark blue glitter cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times using a die from the Double Stitched Layering Rectangle Die Set. I stacked and adhered the layers together with liquid adhesive with the top layer slightly offset, then adhered it to the front of the card. The All About the Blues Sequin Mix had the most beautiful blue hues to match  perfectly!! Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Be sure to check out the rest of the fabulous February Release!!
