Andrea Shell Beyond Basic: A2 Scallops Cardmaking Copic Coloring Diecutting Floral Card Hollyhocks In Bloom mixed media

Hi there! It's Andrea here to share my last project as a design team member for Picket Fence Studios. It has been a pleasure and an honor to be on the team, and I hope I have inspired you even just a little. My card features the new Hollyhocks in Bloom stamp set along with the Beyond the Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. I colored the hollyhocks with Copics and added a little shading with colored pencils before diecutting the image with the coordinating dies. I created a shaped cardbase with one of the scalloped arch dies...

Andrea Shell Beyond Basic: A2 Scallops Cardmaking Dainty Cup Dies Diecutting Indian Summer 6x6 Stencil

Hi there! It's Andrea here to share an elegant card featuring some new products from Picket Fence Studios. I have a collection of tea cups - including a blue and white one! - so I was drawn to the new Dainty Cup Dies! Isn't this sweet cup pretty?! I started by coloring white cardstock with Liquid Forget-me-nots Paper Splatter. You can't tell in the photos, but the paper splatter has a lovely shimmer to it. While that was drying, I diecut a separate panel of white cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. After tracing the white cup onto the colored panel, I cut...

Hi there! It's Andrea back with you. Are you a fan of Alice in Wonderland? Picket Fence Studios has introduced some fun products inspired by the story. That sweet girl is from the new Freckle Friends: Astonishing Alice stamp set. I colored her with my Zig waterbrush markers and cut her out with the coordinating dies. My colors were inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. The harlequin paper is from the new Patterns of Wonderland A2 Card Fronts pack. After adhering the panel to a white card, I added rectangles cut from two of the Alice...

Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun shaker card featuring the Big Piggie Hugs stamp from Picket Fence Studios. This cute piggie and barrel were leftover from last week's card. I colored the images from Big Piggie Hugs with Copics, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and added white highlights. That awesome background is from the Bright and Shiny Day Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts pack, which I trimmed slightly. Using the Basic Die Cutting Set 1 Dies, I created frames from white cardstock and a yellow gingham paper from the Happy Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts pack....

Hello there! It's Andrea back with you to share a fun, cat-themed card featuring products from Picket Fence Studios' December release. As a pet owner, the December release really spoke to me. I love the sentiments in the Dogs/Cats Always Know Good People, and the fact that they're customizable for either a dog or a cat is awesome! While the sentiment inspired my card, that fun, stenciled background is also a favorite. To create it, I used the Meow 6x8 Layering Stencil Set. I started with a panel of pale pink cardstock and blended a darker pink ink through the...
