HELLO... It's Bobbi here with a big "hello" and a handful of lovelies! This card features the following Picket Fence Studios products:  Hello Word Topper Die Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Die Set Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies My card is 5" X 7". The card base, card front and many of the die cuts are made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock.  To make this A7-sized card, I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies.  I colored the images using my Copic Sketch Markers in the following colors : Browns: E59, E57, E55, E42, E11 Yellow and Yellow-Reds: YR27, YR24, Y21  Blues: BG72, BG71, BG11, BG10, B00, B000 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG63 I also die cut the Hello Word Topper Die and the Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Die Set. I used metallic dot paper for the hello and a nice green cardstock for the heart die. The tiny vine's flowers were cut from a coordinating aqua blue and a pretty blush colored cardstock. I added the florals to the green leafy heart and also added a few gems to the flowers' centers, too.  For the background, I splattered watercolor paint in gold, pink and black to the front. After it fully dried, I assembled the card with the (1) heart vine to the back, then the (2) "hello" die cut and lastly all the fun little elements from the Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies. This card is ready to send!  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Welcome to A Spring Retreat Around the World

Hello friends. It's Bobbi Lemanski here. I'm excited to share that I have joined the design team for Picket Fence Studios and this is my first post as a design team member. I have lots of fun stuff to share with you featuring products from the January release so let's get started with these two sweet cards showcasing the following products:  I'm using the following new sets for these two cards:  A Spring Retreat stamp set and coordinating dies Postage Around the World stamp set Friendly Fred stamp set ("thinking of you," phrase only) A Watercolor Easter A2 Glossy Card Fronts Lovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card Fronts Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties Both of my cards below are A7-sized or 5" X 7" cards.  A Retreat in the Garden To make this 5" X 7" card, I used Neenah 80lb white cardstock for the card base. I used the Lovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card Fronts in a light aqua and the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Die to create a backdrop for my feature image. I stamped, colored, and die cut the design. For my coloring, I use Copic Sketch Markers. Here's a list of the main colors I used for this sweet garden scene:  Reds: R24, R17, R14, R22, R21, R20 Blues: BG75, BG72, BG71, BG49, BG11, B000 Yellows: Y19, Y21, Y08, YR68, YR61 Browns: E53, E44, E43 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03 Neutrals: W5, W4, W3, W1, W0   I wanted my card to stand out a bit from the background so after die-cutting the full design, I hand cut the flowers in the vase and the houses on the ground and popped them up with foam tabs to make the scene dimensional. This does a lot for the overall look of this set and really makes it come to life. Everything was attached to the gingham.  Lastly, I stamped the "Thinking of you" sentiment from the Friendly Fred stamp set in the lower right corner, under the gingham backdrop. I added a six pink pearlized pearls around the design to complete the look. I love how this turned out. The image is so unique and the gingham and pearls just add a touch of sweetness to it. It has whimsy, sweetness and the feel of home all in one!  Welcome to the Neighborhood For this charming and quaint, 5" X 7" -"Welcome to the Neighborhood" card, I thought it would be fun to use one of the miniature houses in the "A Spring Retreat" stamp bouquet as a birdhouse and a larger house on the ground. I fussy cut two of the houses and colored them in the same colors as the card above (Colors listed above.) This card was so easy to make thanks to the "A Watercolor Easter A2 Glossy Card Fronts." product. I used one of the backgrounds that includes a tree and attached the mini house to the wood platform hanging from the tree. I used another matching card front and hand cut the fencing to extend it at the bottom. I added the second house in front of the fencing. I attached the house using foam tabs to make the pink house stand out from the background.  I also added the new border, Postage Around the World to the bottom to give it a stronger European and vintage look that I think works well with the Spring Retreat set. I stamped the border in black and then shaded the tickets with some W Copics (warm grays).  I used the scraps from the pinking cutout in the first card to add a gingham frame around the A2-sized card front design. I think this adds a level of whimsy and design to the sweet scene. In addition, I stamped the "welcome" from the stamp set, "Swanky Sentiments: Salutations" at the lower bottom, center on an A7 white card base. I also splattered some black watercolor over the card base and attached the gingham-pinked frame scene above the "welcome" sentiment. I love how this card came out. That vintage-colored background just works so well with these cute houses.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here.
