I Appreciate You - Hollyhocks in Bloom

by Brenda Noelke on Feb 16 2025
Hello, friends and happy Sunday!! Brenda here with a card featuring the stunning Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set from yesterday's Whimsical Wonderland release!! There's also a two-day Instagram hop full of inspiration from the creative team and special guests that started yesterday, so be sure to check that out as well!! Day 2 of the hop starts at 4PM CST!! Let's get to my card, shall we? I started by stamping the floral and butterfly images from the Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. Purchase the Hollyhocks in Bloom Bundle and save 10%!! For the background, I die-cut the plaid die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Cover Plate Die Set from white cardstock. I die-cut another panel of white cardstock with the smallest rectangle die in the same set, along with a bright pink panel with the largest rectangle die. All the layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. The hollyhocks were also adhered with liquid glue along the right side. The sentiments are also from the Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiments and butterflies were popped up with foam adhesive and this card was finished. I can't wait to color these hollyhocks with other mediums!! They're so much fun to color!! That does it for me!! Be sure to check out the IG for tons more inspiration!! You can get started on the PFS account HERE!! Have a great Sunday and happy hopping!! Brenda

Happy Friday, fellow crafters and card makers!! Brenda back with you today!! I fell head-over-heels for the sweet Big Piggie Hugs Stamp Set from the January release!! I adore these sweet pigs with their veggies!! I started like I do with most of my cards, by stamping the Big Piggie Hugs images and sentiment onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink and coloring them with Copic markers. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. (Get the stamp & die in a bundle and save 10%!) For the background, I die-cut one of the panels in the Spring Gardening Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Front Pack with the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Cover Plate Dies Set. The white panel was cut with the second largest die in the same set and the largest die was used to cut the orange panel. They were stacked and adhered together, then added to a white cardbase using liquid glue. These Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts make creating a scene sooooo easy and I love the thin matted layers you get with the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Coverplate Dies Set!! The small veggies and the basket were adhered to the background with liquid glue and the piggie and sentiment were popped up with foam tape. I added a little shine to the eyes and nose of the pig with a black gel pen and this card was finished. That's it!! This card came together in a snap, but it looks like I put a lot of time into it!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a fabulous weekend and I'll see you next week with the NEW February release!! It's soooooo good!! Brenda

Happy Easter - Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures

by Brenda Noelke on Jan 31 2025
Happy Friday, fellow card makers!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! Brenda here with a sweet Easter card featuring the adorable Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures Stamps & Coordinating Dies, along with a few other goodies from the January release!! I began by stamping the images from the Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. (Save 10% when you purchase the stamps & dies together here.) I used a black gel pen to darken the eyes and noses of the critters. Next, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a panel of white cardstock using Life Changing Blender Brushes. I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto the bottom of the panel using the grass stencil in the Scene Building A2 Stencil Set: Layers of Adventure. The clouds, from the same stencil set, were added to the sky using Incandescent Paper Glaze. The panel was die-cut with the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Die Set. It was adhered with liquid glue to a pink panel of cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the same die set. The darling Peach & Piper die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue. For the sentiment, I spread a thin layer of the lightest shade of pink glaze in the Pink Ombre Haze Paper Glaze Sampler onto a panel of white cardstock. Once it was dry, I die-cut it, along with two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, using the Happy Easter Word Die. The layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue, then added to the bottom of the panel. Bunny shaped embellishments from the Bunny Bop Sequin Mix Plus Mix and small iridescent sequins from the Blissful Beauties Sequin Mix Plus Mix were the perfect finishing touch. These bunnies and chicks are having so much fun at the Easter egg hunt!! That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a terrific weekend!! Brenda

New stamps from the Freckle Friends Series are always at the top of my list and this Easter one with the bunnies is absolutely adorable!! I started by stamping the darling images from the Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. For the background, I used the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set to die-cut a panel from the Bright & Shiny Day Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. It was adhered to a white A2 card base. The sentiment, also from the Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. Happy Easter - Joyful Easter Stamps & Dies

by Brenda Noelke on Jan 17 2025
Hello, fellow crafters and happy Friday!! Brenda here with an Easter card featuring the Joyful Easter Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, along with the Layers of Embroidery Stamp!! This color scheme just screams SPRING to me, which I am sooooo ready for!! I know, it's only January, but I can wish for spring to come sooner rather than later!! To begin, I stamped the floral bouquet and leaves from the Joyful Easter Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, accented the stamen with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. They were arranged and adhered together using liquid glue, then set aside to work on the background. I white heat embossed the Layers of Embroidery Stamp onto a panel of lilac cardstock. Several of the rectangle dies in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set to create lots of layers in the background. The embossed panel was die-cut with the smallest rectangle in the die set. I used the second smallest die in the same set to cut a mat from white cardstock. The second largest die was cut from a lilac gingham panel in the Lovely Gingham Fabulous Glossy A2 Card Fronts Pack. All the layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue, then adhered to an A2 white card base. The basket of blooms was popped up with foam tape. The sentiment, also from the Joyful Easter Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I cut it out with the Coordinating Die and adhered it with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. A sprinkling of purple sequins from the Easter Bop Sequin Mix Plus adds a bit of sparkle and finishes off the card. I love how the bright colors in the bouquet pop off of the soft, pastel background!! Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!! Brenda

The coral panel was die-cut with the largest rectangle die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmark Die Set. All the panels were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. Brenda here today sharing a card featuring the adorable pup in the You Hold My Heart In Your Paw Stamp Set from Saturday's December release!! I began by stamping the pup from the You Hold My Heart In Your Paw Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Momento Espresso Truffle ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out. I used a white gel pen to brighten the white highlights on the eyes and nose. For the background, I stenciled the Fetch Stencil Set onto a panel of white cardstock. Cream Puff Paper Glaze Glass from the Felines Sampler was applied through the bones layer and Chocolate Frosting Paper Glaze Luxe from the Canines Sampler was used with the paw print stencil. Once dry, the panel was die-cut with the third largest deckle edge die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Vintage Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set. A panel of burnt orange cardstock was die-cut with the largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set. I used the largest rectangle die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmarks Dies to cut the bottom layer from brown cardstock. All the layers were layered and adhered together using liquid glue. The pup was also adhered with liquid glue, letting the ear hang off the top of the card. Peek A Boo Balloons

by Andrea Shell on Dec 04 2024
Hello there! It's Andrea here sharing a card featuring the new Hot Air Balloon Sighting stamp from Picket Fence Studios. Aren't those heart-shaped balloons from the Hot Air Balloon Sighting set sweet?! I just love them peeking out from that cloud frame! The image is one large stamp, so there's no masking or anything - yay! I stamped the image in the center of a panel of white cardstock and colored it with Copics. I added highlights with a white gel pen, which make the balloons even sweeter, I think. To frame the image, I used the new A2 Cloud Peek A Boo Dies. I diecut the cloud frame from both white and glitter cardstocks. After trimming the glitter frame on the short sides, I offset them under the white border. I adhered the layered frame onto my colored image with foam tape. My sentiment is from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations set. I stamped it in black ink, diecut it with the coordinating dies, and popped it up with foam. I finished the card with a scattering of Moonshine sequins. Sweet Hooray

by Andrea Shell on Nov 26 2024
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun card combining new and previously-released products from Picket Fence Studios. These adorable critters are from the new Peach and Piper: Bad Weather Friends set. That little racoon in the top was the inspiration for this card because to me he looks like he's celebrating (I can just hear him squealing "Hooray!"). After stamping those sweet characters, I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added highlights with a white gel pen. How fun is the new On a Cloudy Day 6x8 Stencil? After placing it over a panel of blue cardstock, I applied Arctic Fox Paper Glaze Luxe with a palette knife. I love the soft sheen and fun texture of this glaze! To fill out my scene, I diecut white cardstock with the Scene Building: Grass Tufts Dies and Slim Line Short Tall Grass Die (retired). I applied two shades of green ink to the grass pieces with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. Once my background was dry, I adhered it to a cardbase and glued the grass border on top. I diecut the Hooray Word Die from metallic and white cardstocks and stacked them together on my card. I popped up my critters with foam adhesive, tucking the tufts of grass underneath the racoons. I added a sentiment from the Hot Air Balloon Sightings stamp and finished with some blue sequins from the Taking Off sequin mix. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

The panels were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. A wide strip of vellum was wrapped around the top and bottom of the panel and adhered to the back with liquid glue.
