Hello, crafty friends and happy Friday!! Brenda here with you today!! I'm super excited to share this floral "thinking of you" card featuring the beautiful Brighter Days Gerbera Daisy Stamp Set from yesterday's release!! This stamp set includes the most stunning gerbera daisy with several sentiments to mix and match (with coordinating dies for each of them)!!
I began by stamping the flower from the Brighter Days Gerbera Daisy Stamp Set onto white cardstock with no-line coloring ink. I colored it with Copic markers and added details and definition with colored pencils. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out.
For the background, I added pink dye ink onto a panel of white cardstock using the Indian Summer 6x8 Stencil, a Pint-sized Paper Pouncer and the Paper Inking Palette. The third largest die in the the Rectangles A2 Layering Die Set was used to cut it out. I splattered Black Magic Paper Splatter Watercolor onto the panel with a fan brush. A panel of pink cardstock was die-cut with the largest die in the same set. The rectangle dies were adhered together and the gerbera daisy was adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment is also from the Brighter Days Gerbera Daisy Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. Sequins from the All About the Yellows Sequin Mix add a bit of yellow to the bottom of the card and draw your eye to the sentiment.
I can't wait to color this beautiful daisy with other mediums!! What is your favorite set from the new release? Be sure to check it all out in the store here!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
