Michelle Lupton here today - I'm sharing a card I made using the Gemini Girl stamp and coordinating die. I used the A2 rose lines stencil with Distress Oxide ink in the background, and then coloured the gemini girl image with copic markers, adding some gold gel pen highlights to her hair clips and earring. This month's release from Picket Fence Studios includes a new addition to the Zodiac Girls series, Aries Girl. I decided to use red and black as my colour palette because the colour associated with the zodiac sign Aries is red. Aries is also ruled by the planet Mars, and Mars is the god of war, and is also associated with red. However, I did not use any red alcohol ink in the background. I'm continuing on with my series of Zodiac Girl Cards - this month, the new stamp and matching die is Capricorn Girl. I coloured her with Copic markers and popped her onto a grey and purple stenciled background. I decided she needed a little pizazz, so I added some of the new Silver Bells Paper Glitz to her horns, her eyelids and her earrings. I also mixed some with water and splattered it in the background. This month, the new set released is Sagittarius, and I paired her up with some Paper Glitz in the colour "Pecan pie filling" over the centre cut flower stencil.
