So Many Ducks In A Row

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 26 2025
Hello friends. It's Bobbi here with a few of my cute duck friends! This 5" X 7" card is filled with five ducks in a row and an extra two to playing by the water! Mother Duck is strolling through with her adorable bucket hat on. I'm using the following products by Picket Fence Studios:  You Are Quacktastic stamps and dies (Bundle) Scene Building: A2 Tall Grass Die My card is 5" X 7" and made from Neenah 80lb white cardstock for the card base and the card front.  To make this A7-sized card, I stamped, die cut and colored, using Copic Sketch Marker all the ducks, duck pond and greenery.  I used the following Copic colors: YR24, Y19, Y08, Y06, YR15, YR68 for the duck bodies. Other colors include B05, B02, B00, B000, R17, R14, C3, C1, YR67, YR17, and YR03.  To make this overall scene setting, I ink blended Tumbled Glass to the upper half of the card front to create the sky, I added the Scene Building: A2 Tall Grass Die cuts for the scene's background around the middle of the card. I also added some hand cut green hills for the ducks to walk on and added more grass to the front of the ducks. I nestled the pond into the grassy area and added some of the greenery images from the set. I used Copics to create the ground cover around the pond. I also added a white 1/8" strip below the grassy and stamped and the phrase in the white space.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Coffee Bar Card

by Heejung Hunsberger on Jun 23 2023
Hello Crafty Friends, I am so excited to share a coffee-themed card with you today. I created this card using the Scene Building Espresso Bar Table die set from Picket Fence Studios. As a lover of coffee, this espresso machine would be a dream come true!   I used a part of the coffee table die ( I cut out the legs of the table) and made a bar instead of the table.   "I die-cut all the pieces from the Espresso Bar Table die set. I then colored the fruit and bread with Copic markers."   I used silver Aluminum foil card stock and black card stock for the espresso machine and basket. CARD RECIPE: Espresso Your Self Stamp Our Finest Selection Stamp Scene Building Espresso Bar Table Die   That’s all for today. I hope you enjoyed this post and give you inspiration. PFS- Craft Beer Mug Shaker Die Card

by Heejung Hunsberger on Jun 02 2023
Hi crafty friends, This card with a masculine theme is what someone is searching for. It's a great fit! I had so much fun making this card.   I made a card with the Craft Beer Shaker die from Picket Fence Studios. I used alcohol ink to color the inside of the shaker to make it look like bubbles.   I used a cloud shape from the Slimline Curvy Rainbow die on the mug that looks like a bubble of beer. Then, trim the cloud to fit the mug top, I added some White Velvet to make it look like snow falling on the bubble.   CARD RECIPE: Craft Beer Mug Shaker Die Wood Grain A2 Die Slimline Curvy Rainbow Die 5X7 Double Stitched Rectangle die (Alphabet) Winter Snowfall Velvet Pineapple Smash Sequin Mix Thanks for stopping by! It's New Release Day

by Sandi MacIver on Dec 14 2021

Hey cardmaking friends.  Sandi MacIver here and today I'm sharing Christmas Cardmaking in GOLD.  Today is the Picket Fence Studio December Release - WHOO HOO.  So many fun new products, but I used just ONE of the new products in today's card. The NEW, Lots of Blossoms Stencil and I'm going to share with you how I created this beautiful card using just one stencil. It's super simple, fast and easy and you can use this technique on any type of card for any celebration. Check the end of the post for clickable thumbnail images for the entire new release that goes live today. I had so much fun creating this card, but my OCD kicked in, and I had to exactly line up those crazy petals, LOL.  It's a simple hinge technique so let's get started.   How to create my Christmas Cardmaking in GOLD Card: Start by using the Lots of Blossoms 6 x 6 stencil to dry emboss the 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 mirror gold background. Place that down on your grid paper and trace around it with a pencil. Lay the stencil over it, line up the blossoms, and then tape the stencil to the grid paper on one side with some washi tape - creating a hinge. Next, take a piece of black cardstock also 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, place a small amount of adhesive on the back, and attach it inside the outline you traced. Flip the stencil back over the cardstock and secure it on all sides. Use a Picket Fence Studios Spatula to add Paper Glaze Ombre - Santa's Favorite Colors 2, through the stencil onto the black cardstock. Remove the stencil and clean it immediately and let the Paper Glaze dry. Flip the piece over, and using your grid paper, draw pencil lines where you want to cut the tree.  I took an inch from each side, up to the center at the top.  if you want a wider tree, take less than an inch on each side. Cut on the lines, flip the tree back over and use foam squares to attach it to your card, lining up the florals. Adding the Sentiment to your card: Use the Picket Fence Studios Fancy Christmas Sentiments and Dies to Gold emboss a sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and then cut it out with the coordinating die. Attach it across the tree, near the bottom with Foam Squares. Finally, embellish the tree with Sands of Time Gem Mix.   Here is the entire December Picket Fence Studios Release: Here is today's entire new release .  Compensated affiliate links used  where available at no cost to you. Holly Jolly Slim Line Christmas

by Sandi MacIver on Dec 03 2021
Hey cardmaking friends and welcome back.  It's Sandi here with another card in the Christmas Card Extravaganza here at Picket Fence Studios. Today it's a Slimline Holly Jolly Christmas.  I combined all my favorites on this card so it's packed with interest, layers and bling.  I hope you like it.     Yes, all the things on one card, haha. How to create the Slimline Holly Christmas card: Start with a 3-1/4 x 8-1/4 piece of white, cut with the Slim Line Die Cutting System. Lay the Slim Line Basket Petals Stencil over it and use the Life Changing Brushes to add Distress Oxides through the stencil.  I used Salvage Patina, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles and Black Soot. Next, Use the Misti and the Black Hybrid Ink to stamp the holly stamp into hammermill white cardstock. Color with Copic Markers: Greens:  Bg11, BG34, G19, G28 Pinks:  RV34, RV17, RV19, RV69 Use the coordinating die to cut out the holly and set aside.   For the Sentiment: Die cut the Slim Line Merry Christmas Word Die in mirror gold, and two of the Blue spruce cardstock, stack them together. Finally, Use the Sky Blue Paper Glaze Ombre, spread it across a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of white card and let it dry. Cut the Snowflake Lydia from it. Assembling the card:  Layer the card front to a 3-3/8 x 8-3/8 mat in Blue Spruce (from Spellbinders) and then to a 4 x 9-1/2 white card base. Use the Bearly White Glue with the fine tip to attach the paper glaze snowflake. Next, over that, add the holly. Finally, use the Bearly White Glue again to attach the sentiment. Embellish with Oceans of Green Gem Mix.            used for the Picket Fence Studios Slim Line Holly Christmas card: Here are the products I used today.  Compensated affiliate links used  where available at no cost to you.
