Lovely Lace and Florals

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 05 2025
Hi friends! As we get closer to Valentine's day, I thought pink lace and springy florals just seemed right to share. This 5" X 7" card is sweet, feminine, and lovely all in one. I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios products: Layers of Embroidery stamp Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter dies Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties To create this card, I stamped the Layers of Embroidery stamp design on pink cardstock using a fuchsia pink ink. I hand cut the bottom layer to accentuate the scallop design. I attached the background to a white card base. I left enough white space at the bottom to stamp "a little birthday note" sentiment in black from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set. I also added a striped pink and white ribbon two scallops up from the bottom.  I stamped the beautiful floral bouquet illustrated by the very talented Kelly Taylor for Picket Fence Studios, in black on white cardstock. Using my Copic Sketch Markers, I colored in the florals in bright, spring colors, making sure to color the lilies like Stargazer lilies or rubrum lilies. The tulips are done in reds and yellows and added some lilac colors, too. I die cut the florals using the Joyful Easter dies and attached the bouquet, positioning it over the ribbon, using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit from the background. Lastly, I added some dainty pearls in pinks and rose from the Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties. You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Happy Easter - Joyful Easter Stamps & Dies

by Brenda Noelke on Jan 17 2025
Hello, fellow crafters and happy Friday!! Brenda here with an Easter card featuring the Joyful Easter Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, along with the Layers of Embroidery Stamp!! This color scheme just screams SPRING to me, which I am sooooo ready for!! I know, it's only January, but I can wish for spring to come sooner rather than later!! To begin, I stamped the floral bouquet and leaves from the Joyful Easter Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, accented the stamen with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. They were arranged and adhered together using liquid glue, then set aside to work on the background. I white heat embossed the Layers of Embroidery Stamp onto a panel of lilac cardstock. Several of the rectangle dies in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set to create lots of layers in the background. The embossed panel was die-cut with the smallest rectangle in the die set. I used the second smallest die in the same set to cut a mat from white cardstock. The second largest die was cut from a lilac gingham panel in the Lovely Gingham Fabulous Glossy A2 Card Fronts Pack. All the layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue, then adhered to an A2 white card base. The basket of blooms was popped up with foam tape. The sentiment, also from the Joyful Easter Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I cut it out with the Coordinating Die and adhered it with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. A sprinkling of purple sequins from the Easter Bop Sequin Mix Plus adds a bit of sparkle and finishes off the card. I love how the bright colors in the bouquet pop off of the soft, pastel background!! Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!! Brenda
