by Ilina Crouse on Jan 06 2020
Hi everyone! Ilina here!  Today I am sharing a card using the new City on the World background stamp. I stamped on pool card stock using embossing ink and embossed in white. Once embossed I sprayed with shimmer spray and let it dry. Once done ,trimmed the panel to 4" x 5 1/4". Set it aside.  Stamp sentiment  from Charles the Chameleon set on vellum and emboss in white. Attach to panel. Using fun foam adhere to top folding white note card.

2020 In Real Color

by Angela Bode on Jan 03 2020
Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you enjoyed ringing in the new year!  Did you make any New Year's resolutions?  I didn't because I have always felt like the new year starts when my kids head back to school.  Even though my kids are older now, I still make changes and life adjustments in the Fall.  Therefore, when January comes along hopefully I am rolling right along!  One change I made this past Fall was to start eating better.  My goal was to look better but I ended up with a far greater benefit.  I feel better!  Now I feel like I am living in real color!  Charles the Chameleon is all about living in real color! I stamped a painted background with Color Heals the Soul and then stamped and die-cut Charles.  Next, I placed Charles in the MISTI and stamped Color Heals the Soul over the top of him in the same colors as the background.  Next, I couldn't leave Charles hanging in the air so I gave him Just a Branch to balance on.  Lastly, I added the sentiment.   One other tool I want to mention before I go is the new Stamp Scrubber!  I used it to clean the stamps I used today.  It did a beautiful job cleaning all the crevices in the paint drips on  Color Heals the Soul!    That's it for me today!  Hugs and remember to Live in Real Color!

Distress Oxide Spray Background with Mindy Eggen

by Mindy Eggen on Dec 25 2019
Welcome back everyone and Merry Christmas! Mindy Eggen here with you today and I'm sharing a card that has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas but is colorful and fun! I'm working with products from the Picket Fence Studios December release. I'm starting with Charles the Chameleon. I stamp the image in Versafine ink onto Bristol Smooth card stock using my Misti tool. Then I sprinkle on clear embossing powder and heat emboss. Next, I color my image with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I am using the colors No. 020 Red, No. 070 Orange, No. 050 Yellow, No. 004 Green, No. 031 Cobalt Blue, and No. 082 Purple. Then I use the coordinating die to cut out the image. For my background, I sprayed my Points of Interest stencil with Pixie Spray. Then I attached the stencil to a piece of Meadow card stock and spritzed with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Spray. I removed the stencil and once dry, I trimmed the panel down to 3" x 4" and attached to a piece of white card stock. I added a strip of brown card stock and added my panel to an A2 notecard made from Sea Salt card stock. I finished off the card by adding a sentiment I heat embossed in Gold onto Pitch Black card stock. The sentiment and Chameleon are added to the card front with foam squares. Here's a look at the stamp set and stencil that I used. All supplies will be listed below. Points of Interest Stencil SUPPLIES Below you will find links to the products used.
