Slim Line Soaring Butterflies

by Ilina Crouse on May 24 2021
Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing two slim line cards using the new Soar Butterfly stencil. What's better than rainbow butterflies?    To make the cards start by die cutting two panels from white card stock (I used 130lb cardstock) using the Slim Line Nested Rectangles dies. Next secure the stencil over them (one at a time) and ink blend some distress oxide inks using the Life Changing Brushes.      Once done, we just need to add sentiment and add to note card. For the first card I die cut You Are the Best word die from black card stock (3 times, and stacked the letters to get more dimensional look) then adhered to my panel. For the second card I stamped sentiment from Dandelion Delight set.  To finish off the cards I adhered them to black slim line note cards and added some Sands of Time gems!

Stay Wild Ocean Child

Hi everyone! Ilina here. I hope you have been enjoying all the inspiration with the new release. And if you haven't checked it out it's worth doing so.  For my card today I used the Whales and Mermaids slim line stencil.  To make the card I started with a piece of white card stock little larger than slimline card front and ink blended green and blues distress oxide inks. One dried I used the Slim Line Rising Sun stencil and Unicorn White ink to add some detail on top of the distress oxides. Next I die cut the panel using the new Slim Line Nested rectangles dies. Next I mixed 1 to 1 ratio of Paper Glaze Enhancer (I LOVE this stuff) and Cornflower Blue Paper Glaze. Secured the stencil on top (masked around the whale) and applied the Paper Glaze/Enhancer mix. Let it dry. Once dry I stamped the sentiment in black and adhered the panel to a slim line white note card.

Seriously ...

by Ilina Crouse on Mar 01 2021
Hi everyone! Ilina here! If you know me,  you know that I use the word "seriously" quite often. ;) So I thought it was perfect to use the new Seriously word die to make a card. Paired with a sentiment from the new Ways to Express Yourself set it was match made in heaven. And I think everyone could relate to some level with the phrase "I'm about to lose my mind" especially with the last 12 months we have had.  To make the card I die cut the sentiment from black card stock and the backing from white. Then stamped the sentiment on black card stock and embossed in white. Trimmed to size. Next, I cut strips from Navy, Light Blue, Green and Orange card stock and adhered to white piece of card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Adhered the die cut sentiment and then the sentiment strip. To finish the card I adhered the panel using craft foam to a top folding note card! Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have an amazing day!

Slim Line Hello

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing couple sim line cards using the new Slim Line Basket Petals stencil. I paired the stencil with the Hello word die and few gems from the Day and Night gem mix. To make the cards I started by cutting strips of pink/purple hue card stock. I cut the strips to about 1/4" wide and 8 1/2" long. I cut 5 strips for each card. Next adhere the strips for each card onto a thin paper (I used printer paper). Once the adhesive is dry, cut out the excess paper. Use the Slim Line Basket Petals stencil and blend in white craft ink with a Life Changing Blending Brush. Set aside to dry or use your heat tool to dry it.   While the strips are drying die cut the "Hello" word die from black and white card stock and assemble the die cuts (I added 3 layers for the black). Die cut a panel for your slim line card using the Slim Line Die Cutting system. Adhere the strips and trim off the excess from the ends. Adhere the Hello and add few black gems.  Create 2 slim line card bases and add the panels using some craft foam. You are done!!!  Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
