Beautiful Foiled Butterflies

Hello there! It's Andrea back to share a colorful and quick card featuring the Flutter Fly Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Fronts.ย  I foiled two different card fronts from the pack. For the panel in the background, I used Rainbow Flake Fabulous Toner Foil, and for the other card front, I applied Gold Flake Fabulous Toner Foil.ย I colored the gold-foiled butterflies with Copics and fussy-cut them.ย  From the center of the rainbow panel, I diecut "hello" with the Another Hello There Word Dies. I trimmed down the panel, matted it with black cardstock and adhered it to a white card. I applied Black Eyeliner Paper Glaze Luxe to black cardstock. I just love making my own glitter cardstock! Once the glaze was dry, I diecut it with the Another Hello There Word Dies. My original plan was to inlay the black letters, but I decided I wanted a little more dimension. Hence, I diecut "hello" from black cardstock and glued that before adhering the glitter sentiment. Finally, I affixed the Copic-colored butterflies with foam squares. Hello everyone dear PFS friends, today we start the week and I want to bring you my inspiration. It is a card that opens on the front and you can insert a photo or a message, I find it very versatile and simple. To make it I chose the setย  Soar Butterfly Dieย with this beautiful butterfly that I shaded with purple, fuchsia and green.ย I then appliedย  Paper Glaze Luxe - Wandering Gypsyย  with a brush to give shine to the center of the butterfly and theย ย Paper Glaze - Raw Kale on the outside of the wings.ย  For the base of my card, I first shaded with purple, fuchsia, apple green and yellow, and decorated with the stencilย Sea Scales 6x6 Stencil ย andย Paper Glaze Velvet - Duckling Fuzz deluxe. For the sentiment I chose the setย ย A Little Note Word DieI hope you like my inspiration today, see you next time!Claudia ย

Butterfly Slim Line Shaker

Hello, fellow crafters and happy Thursday!! I hope your week is going well!! I have a fun slim line shaker card to share with you today!! I LOVE butterflies!! They can be used for so many different occasions!! I began with my background panel, so it would haveย adequte time to dry (although it dries really quickly). I applied Snowdrop White Paper Glaze onto a panel of white cardstock through the Slim Line A Whole Lot of Polka Dots Stencil with a palette knife. While that was drying, I stamped the sentiment, from the Baby Butterfly Beauties Stamp Set, onto white cardstock with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped some butterflies from the same set with Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks, then die-cut the sentiment and butterflies with the Coordinating Dies. I LOVE the sentiments in this stamp set...they are so uplifting and positive!! I also die-cut the second largest die in the Nesting Ring Die Set from pink cardstock.ย  Next, the stenciled background panel was die-cut with the smaller rectangle die in the Slim Line Die-Cutting System Set. The Monarch Butterfly Slim Line Die-Cutting System Insert was cut from the center of the panel. I adhered acetate behind the butterfly, then added foam tape to the back of the panel. A combination of All About the Pinks, All About the Yellows and All About the Purples sequin mixes were added for the shaker bits. I adhered a small piece of white cardstock behind the opening and then adhered the panel to a slimline panel of pink cardstock that was cut from the largest Slim Line Nested Rectangles Die. The Nesting Ring Die was adhered with liquid glue, while the sentiment and butterfly die-cuts were popped up with foam tape, for even more dimension. Whew!! I know that was a long one, but shaker cards are a little more involved and take more time to explain!! Thanks for hanging in there with me!! I appreciate you taking the time to stop by today!! Have a wonderful Thursday!! Brenda
