Pencil coloring on kraft is the focal point of today's handmade card. Caran d'Ache Luminance in a deep purple makes the hello word die stand out perfectly.

HiHeyHello - Longneck Family Kit

by Sammi Offield on Jun 09 2023
Hey crafty friends! Sammi here to share a card made with the AMAZING Longneck Family kit! This kit is FULL of so many goodies to play with! There are stamps, dies, glazes, sequins, a stencil, paper, twine and more! Today I am sharing a card made with the Hi Hey Hello, Giraffe stamp and the Long Neck Family kit Paper Glaze. This glaze is amazing! Here is how I made this card! Fist I stamped the giraffe with the PFS Black Hybrid Ink Pad and colored him with Copic markers. I then fussy cut out him out and then edged the edges with brown distress inks.  I really love the vintage piece of paper that comes with the kit. It is bigger than a A2 sized card, so I tore it down to size and then edged it with Distress inks to make it look aged. I then took the stencil and stenciled the piece with the Long Neck Family kit Paper Glaze and let it dry. After it was dry, I then curled in the edges in various spots to make it look more aged and added some more Distress ink.  In the kit are many colors of cardstock. I chose to use the darker hunter green color and I cut a piece down to a A2 size. In the kit is a small little sander. I love it! I took the sander and sanded the edges of the green piece of cardstock and then added some Distress ink to make it looked aged. I then cut a sentiment piece and repeated the same process. I then embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.  I then glued the stenciled piece of paper onto the green card panel, then I glued the sentiment onto the card panel. I then added the giraffe with some foam tape and then glued the card panel onto a A2 card base. To finish the look, I added some sequins that come with the kit.  Here is what you need to make this card: Long Neck Family Exclusive Kit – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) Black Hybrid Ink Pad – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) I love how this card came out! It looks so safari! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Plant Happy Thoughts

Hello, Eugy here! I have always had a love for indoor plants. They bring a fresh, vibrant energy to any room and are a great way to reconnect with nature. However, despite my best efforts, I seem to struggle to keep them alive for very long, unlike the ones on the cards 😂. Today I would like to share this card with you. It's very easy to make! First, I blended light inks using the Life Changing Blending Brushes. Then I chose a stamp from the Plant Happy Thoughts set and applied various colored inks to it. Before stamping, I blended them with the new Paper Pouncers. To finish up my card, I used my absolute favorite sentiment from this set. Well, that's it, just a couple of simple steps and the card is ready! And finally, just a quick reminder that there will be an Easter sale on the website from Friday, April 7 to Monday, April 10, stay tuned. Happy crafting and have a wonderful weekend! Eugy

Hello - Mophead Hydrangea

Hello, crafty friends and happy Wednesday!! Brenda here with a card today that features one of my favorite sets from the February Release that just released yesterday...the stunning Mophead Hydrangea Stamp!! I couldn't wait to color this beautiful bloom!! I began by white heat embossing the Mophead Hydrangea onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers and a damp paintbrush. Once it was dry, I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 white card base. For the sentiment, I die-cut "hello" from dark blue glitter cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times using a die from the Double Stitched Layering Rectangle Die Set. I stacked and adhered the layers together with liquid adhesive with the top layer slightly offset, then adhered it to the front of the card. The All About the Blues Sequin Mix had the most beautiful blue hues to match  perfectly!! Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Be sure to check out the rest of the fabulous February Release!! Hello and Blooming Blossoms dies

Hi, Crafty friends! It´s Silvana here and today I´m sharing with you this lovely slimline card made with some new products of the November release.  The new Layering flora: Blooming Blossoms dies are just amazing! You can create beautiful layering flowers in different sizes and use any cardstock you like. I used some colored cardstock, arranging the flowers in a "rainbowish" order. The hello word die comes in the 5x7 Double stitched Layering Rectangles dies set. I diecut it three times in a heavy white cardstock and then one time in a gold cardstock.  For the background, I used the Slimline Hexagon Randomness Stencil to dryemboss it. It makes a very subtle but elegant background.  I hope you like this inspiration card.  See you in my next blog post. Have an amazing week.  Silvana.
