One Layer Stamping featuring ROCKIN’ AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE
by Bonnie Crane on Nov 04 2022
I absolutely adore the sweet mice in Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree! I have created three mini vignettes in a slim line format to showcase these cuties. Dig out the masking paper for these one layer scenes!

Hello friends,I am so excited to be back on the blog again today. For today’s project, I am sharing a Christmas card that was inspired by one of the most well-known Christmas flowers of all time. And that is the flower, Poinsettias. Every year during Christmas, I fill my home with this flower. It’s just so beautiful, and it smells so wonderful. I was excited when the shop released the Seasonal Christmas Flowers stamp set. I knew I needed to create a card with it.
I colored the Poinsettias using Copic markers and gave them highlights using a white gel pen. For the background, I love creating a monotone effect using the wonderful Paper Glaze Velvet in the color Winter Snowfall. I applied the paper glaze onto white card stock using Winter Rings Stencil with my Mix Media Spatulas.
To add subtle interest to the card design, I added More Ash Leaves that I die-cut out of vellum. I adhered the flowers and leaves onto the card panel using a combination of foam squares and liquid adhesive.
The sentiment is from the Swanky Christmas Sentiment stamp set. I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock using black ink and used the coordinating dies to cut a few out of white card stock to layer it up to create dimension.
And to finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto a matted gold rectangle and adhered it to a top folding card base. Added a few embellishments to the card panel, and that’s it!I hope you found some inspiration and got crafty in your craft room. Until next time!Have a wonderfully blessed day,Theary Chea

Hello! It´s Silvana here with another inspiration post.
Is it too early to start thinking about Halloween decor...? Never! The spooky season is around the corner and we need to be prepared.
Last release inspired meto make a banner just with dies. Yes! The dies are the most versatile and durable product that we can purchase and we can stretch the use of them in creative ways.
For the banner base I used the A2 Haunted Lair Cover Plate die woth a hevy weight black cardstock.
The funny ghosts are the Three Ghastly friends die that are perfect for this!
In the middle, I put the ghost over the A2 Spooky tree die just to make it more spooky.
The Happy Halloween word die was cut three times in different colors made with the incredibles Paper Glaze velvet in Bonfire, Split pea soup and Sea urchin colors.
I hope you enjoyed this idea and give it a try!
See you soon with more inspiration.
Silvana.
