Welcome Baby Girl with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios blog sharing how I created this baby card. I’m featuring the Sleeping Baby Stamp and Die and the Fancy Flourish Stencil.   Let’s begin! This card was very easy to create. I stamped the Sleeping Baby stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Rose Glintz embossing powder. This color of embossing is very similar to skin color so I thought it would be perfect for this baby.     Then, I colored the baby using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and die cut it with the matching...

There is Life After Chaos

Happy April! I have been creating encouragement cards like it's my job lately. This sentiment felt pretty relevant considering the times right now. I am so thankful to have my card making, it helps me escape the crazy. Then, armed with a Life Changing Blender Brush and some inks (Mountain Mist from Altenew and Goddess Green from Ink On 3) I blended a panel each with each colour. Not all...

Stenciled Valentine's day card with Michelle Lupton

Hello - Michelle here today! One of my favourite items from the January release from Picket Fence Studios is the "Flowers in a Heart Stencil", and I think it is very useful for Valentine's Day cards.  I blended some pale pink and pale purple Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white cardstock. (My Life Changing Blender Brush still had some yellow ink on it from another card, so the pink came out as a yellowish pink.) I then added the stencil and blended the pink and purple ink at the opposite ends of the cardstock as the first application,...
