Hollyhock Hello and a Shaped Card

Hi there! It's Andrea here to share my last project as a design team member for Picket Fence Studios. It has been a pleasure and an honor to be on the team, and I hope I have inspired you even just a little. My card features the new Hollyhocks in Bloom stamp set along with the Beyond the Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. I colored the hollyhocks with Copics and added a little shading with colored pencils before diecutting the image with the coordinating dies. I created a shaped cardbase with one of the scalloped arch dies from the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. With the same die, I created a scalloped arch from white cardstock. To add interest to the arch, I blended light blue ink through the Classic Hatch 6x8 Stencil with a Life Changing Blender Brush. I flicked Opaque Gold Paper Splatter over the panel using the Fan Brush. Once the background was dry, I adhered it to my cardbase and added a gold frame created with the A2 Scallops Dies. My focal sentiment was created with the Hello 3.0 Word Topper Die. First, I applied Peony Pink Paper Glaze to white cardstock. Once the glaze was dry, I diecut "hello" from the pink cardstock. I also diecut "hello" from white cardstock to layer behind the pink diecut to help it stand out on my card. I stamped a supporting sentiment from the Hollyhocks set and diecut it with the coordinating dies. To assemble my card, I attached the hollyhocks with thin 3D foam squares. After trimming the layered Hello diecuts slightly, I adhered it with foam and popped up my supporting sentiment on top. I finished with a scattering of gems from the In Wonderland Gem Mix. Dainty Tea Cup

Hi there! It's Andrea here to share an elegant card featuring some new products from Picket Fence Studios. I have a collection of tea cups - including a blue and white one! - so I was drawn to the new Dainty Cup Dies! Isn't this sweet cup pretty?! I started by coloring white cardstock with Liquid Forget-me-nots Paper Splatter. You can't tell in the photos, but the paper splatter has a lovely shimmer to it. While that was drying, I diecut a separate panel of white cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. After tracing the white cup onto the colored panel, I cut out the blue cup with my scissors and then glued the white diecut on top. I also diecut metallic cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. I trimmed away parts of the metallic diecut and adhered them to my assembled tea cup. I love creating my own patterned papers with stencils! For the blue paper, I applied Snowdrop White Paper Glaze through the A Whole Lot of Polka Dots 6x8 Stencil (retired). I created the yellow paper by blending yellow ink through the Indian Summer 6x8 Stencil. After removing the stencil, I added Opaque Gold Paper Splatter to the yellow panel. I allowed both papers to dry. I trimmed down the blue paper and adhered it to a square card. I diecut the yellow paper with the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. Using the same die set, I cut a scalloped panel from white cardstock and a border from metallic cardstock. I glued the yellow arch and metallic outline onto the white scallop and trimmed it down. After wrapping blue ribbon around the top of the scallop, I attached the piece to my card with foam tape. I attached the tea cup to my card with foam squares and added some foliage and flowers created with the Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Dies. For the centers of the flowers, I used amber gems from the In Wonderland Gem Mix. I stamped a sentiment from the Hollyhocks in Blooms stamp, diecut it with the coordinating dies, and popped it up with thin foam squares. Alice-in-Wonderland Inspired Card

by Andrea Shell on Feb 18 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back with you. Are you a fan of Alice in Wonderland? Picket Fence Studios has introduced some fun products inspired by the story. That sweet girl is from the new Freckle Friends: Astonishing Alice stamp set. I colored her with my Zig waterbrush markers and cut her out with the coordinating dies. My colors were inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. The harlequin paper is from the new Patterns of Wonderland A2 Card Fronts pack. After adhering the panel to a white card, I added rectangles cut from two of the Alice in Wonderland Card Fronts (blue gingham and red polka dot). With the Basic Die Cutting Die Set 1, I diecut an arch from a third Alice in Wonderland paper (mushrooms) and a smaller arch from black cardstock. I layered the arches together and adhered them to my card with foam tape. I attached my colored image with thin 3D foam squares. I created my floral embellishments with the Sweet Cherry Blossoms Dies. The small blue flower and the blue flower center were cut with the new Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Dies. For the center of both flowers, I used gems from the new In Wonderland Gem mix. I stamped a sentiment from the Astonishing Alice set and diecut it with an oval die from the Basic Die Cutting Set 1 Dies. I attached my sentiment with foam and finished with a few more gems from the In Wonderland mix. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Sunny Shaker Card

by Andrea Shell on Feb 11 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun shaker card featuring the Big Piggie Hugs stamp from Picket Fence Studios. This cute piggie and barrel were leftover from last week's card. I colored the images from Big Piggie Hugs with Copics, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and added white highlights. That awesome background is from the Bright and Shiny Day Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts pack, which I trimmed slightly. Using the Basic Die Cutting Set 1 Dies, I created frames from white cardstock and a yellow gingham paper from the Happy Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts pack. I layered the two frames together and backed them with clear acetate. I glued my colored images onto the background and placed some Pick Me sequin mix on top (Does anyone else struggle with how much filler to use for shaker cards? I either put too much or, in this case, not enough). I adhered my layered frames with foam tape and glued the shaker to a panel of green cardstock, which I affixed to a white cardbase. To create my sentiment, I diecut orange cardstock a few times with the alphabet die from the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Dies. After stacking the letters three times for dimension, I glued my sentiment to the acetate. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Hello there! It's Andrea back to share a fun card featuring the new Big Piggie Hugs stamp from Picket Fence Studios. As with all of the designs by Yuzu Nook, the images from the Big Piggie Hugs set are so cute! They pair perfectly with the new Spring Gardening Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts, and the A2 Trees Silhouette Cover Plate Die frames everything beautifully! I stamped those fun images from Big Piggie Hugs in black and colored them with Copics. I diecut them with the coordinating dies and added white highlights with a gel pen. I diecut the A2 Trees Silhouette Cover Plate Die from white cardstock and colored the diecut with Copics. I adhered the tree diecut with foam adhesive to one of the cardfronts from the Spring Gardening pack and affixed the panel to a white card. I arranged my colored images onto my card, securing them with a combination of liquid adhesive and thin foam adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Big Piggie Hugs, diecut it with the coordinating dies, and popped it up with dimensional adhesive. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Happy Easter - Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures

by Brenda Noelke on Jan 31 2025
Happy Friday, fellow card makers!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! Brenda here with a sweet Easter card featuring the adorable Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures Stamps & Coordinating Dies, along with a few other goodies from the January release!! I began by stamping the images from the Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. (Save 10% when you purchase the stamps & dies together here.) I used a black gel pen to darken the eyes and noses of the critters. Next, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a panel of white cardstock using Life Changing Blender Brushes. I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto the bottom of the panel using the grass stencil in the Scene Building A2 Stencil Set: Layers of Adventure. The clouds, from the same stencil set, were added to the sky using Incandescent Paper Glaze. The panel was die-cut with the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Die Set. It was adhered with liquid glue to a pink panel of cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the same die set. The darling Peach & Piper die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue. For the sentiment, I spread a thin layer of the lightest shade of pink glaze in the Pink Ombre Haze Paper Glaze Sampler onto a panel of white cardstock. Once it was dry, I die-cut it, along with two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, using the Happy Easter Word Die. The layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue, then added to the bottom of the panel. Bunny shaped embellishments from the Bunny Bop Sequin Mix Plus Mix and small iridescent sequins from the Blissful Beauties Sequin Mix Plus Mix were the perfect finishing touch. These bunnies and chicks are having so much fun at the Easter egg hunt!! That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a terrific weekend!! Brenda

Basket of Fun: Combining Dies and Stamps to Create a Scene

by Andrea Shell on Jan 28 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a colorful Easter card featuring Picket Fence Studios' January release. I just adore those cute bunnies from the Follow that Bunny stamp set! I wanted to combine them with the new Scene Building: A Tisket a Tasket Basket Die and Easter Egg Swag Die for a fun scene. I colored the bunnies with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I diecut the basket from lavender and yellow cardstocks with the A Tisket a Tasket Basket Die. I trimmed thin strips of lavender cardstock and wove them through the slits of the basket, securing the ends with liquid adhesive. I added shading with Copics to create some dimension. I diecut the eggs from colored cardstock with the Easter Egg Swag Die. Using my scissors, I trimmed the bows from the eggs, backed them with colored cardstock and added shading with Copics. For my background I first diecut white cardstock with the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Die. After masking the outside edges of the diecut, I ink-blended the grass and sky with dye inks and Life Changing Blender Brushes. To create the sun rays, I used the Sun with Rays 6x8 Stencil. After ink-blending, I flicked water across the grass portion and blotted it with a paper towel. Next, I covered the bottom half of the panel and added Opaque Pale Yellow, Opaque Pale Lavender, and Opaque White Paper Splatters to the top. Once the panel was dry, I removed the masks and adhered the background to one of the Lovely Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. I arranged my Easter basket, eggs and colored images onto my card, adhering them with a combination of glue and varying heights of foam adhesive. For my focal sentiment, I diecut the Happy Easter Word Die from glitter and white cardstocks and stacked the diecuts on my card. I stamped a supporting sentiment from Follow that Bunny, cut it out with the coordinating die, and popped it up onto my card. Thanks for stopping by! I had so much fun creating this card, and I hope it inspires you to combine dies and stamps to create little scenes on your projects, as well! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Easter Hello: Creating a Scene with Stencils

by Andrea Shell on Jan 21 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun card featuring new products from Picket Fence Studios. I love creating scenes on my projects, and the new Scene Building A2 Stencil Set: Layers of Adventures make the process so easy!     Those adorable bunnies, eggs and tree are from the Peach and Piper: Easter Adventures stamp. The bunny on the far right is from the Peach and Piper: Bad Weather Friends set (I love how well the two stamp sets work together!). I colored all of my images with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.     To create a background for my images, I used the Layers of Adventures stencil set. I placed the grass stencil over an A2 panel of white cardstock and applied green ink with a Life Changing Blender Brush. After removing the stencil, I blended the top of the panel with a blue ink. Using the Fan Brush, I splattered water over the grass to soften the green. Next, I laid the same stencil over the panel and applied Incandescent Paper Glaze to create the clouds. I love the shimmer the paste creates!     Once the paste was dry, I adhered the panel to a cardbase and affixed my images. To attach them, I used a combination of liquid adhesive and varying heights of foam. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Follow that Bunny set to finish my card.     Thanks for stopping by!   *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Hello there! It's Andrea back sharing a sweet card featuring some new products from Picket Fence Studios. Isn't the January release adorable?! When I saw the new Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy stamp, I had to have it! The Freckle Friends collection from Picket Fence Studios is so cute, and this newest addition may be my favorite. I colored that sweet girl and her bunny friend with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Picket Fence released several new cardfronts this month, and the Field of Wildflowers is just beautiful! The colors and florals are so pretty! After selecting one of the papers, I diecut pink cardstock with the A2 Saying Hello Cover Plate Die. I trimmed down the cardfront slightly and adhered the diecut on top. That large sentiment was created with the new Happy Easter Word Dies. I diecut the words from both white and glitter cardstocks and stacked them together for a little dimension. I diecut the shadow from vellum and glued the sentiment on top before adhering the piece to my card. The supporting sentiment is from the Hoppy Poppy set. I stamped it in pink, diecut it with the coordinating die, and attached it to my diecut sentiment. I popped up my colored images with foam and finished with some pearls and sequins from the Blissful Beauties sequin mix. Thanks for stopping by! My Cat Was Right

by Andrea Shell on Jan 08 2025
Hello there! It's Andrea back with you to share a fun, cat-themed card featuring products from Picket Fence Studios' December release. As a pet owner, the December release really spoke to me. I love the sentiments in the Dogs/Cats Always Know Good People, and the fact that they're customizable for either a dog or a cat is awesome! While the sentiment inspired my card, that fun, stenciled background is also a favorite. To create it, I used the Meow 6x8 Layering Stencil Set. I started with a panel of pale pink cardstock and blended a darker pink ink through the first stencil. Next, I applied Snowdrop White Paper Glaze through the second stencil. Once the glaze was dry, I diecut the panel with the Beyond Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate Dies, wrapped some twine around the panel, and adhered it to a card with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from the Dogs/Cats Always Know Good People set in two shades of pink ink. I diecut it and the pink, glittery mat with the 2.5" Connected Circles and 3.0" Connected Circles Shaker Dies. I layered the circles together and attached them to my card with foam. I embellished the sentiment with sequins and hearts from the Pick Me sequin mix. That cute kitty is from the Happy Paws set. After coloring the kitty with Copics, I glued it to a postage shape I had created with a smaller die from the A2 Stamp Cover Plate Dies. The cancelled postmark was also cut with the A2 Stamp Cover Plate Dies. I diecut the postmark twice - once from the pink cardstock I used for the background and a second time from a coral paper. Onto the negative piece of the pink diecut, I stamped a cat face from the Rectangular Seamless: A Cat's Dream stamp and inlaid it in the coral diecut. Dog Kisses Fix Everything

by Andrea Shell on Dec 30 2024
Hi, friends! It's Andrea here with my last blog post of 2024. Didn't this year fly by?!! Have you guessed by now how much I adore the new Happy Paws stamp by Picket Fence Studios' newest illustrator? The images pair perfectly with the sentiments from the new Dogs/Cats Always Know Good People set, which were the inspiration for this card. I stamped those sweet pups from Happy Paws with black ink and colored them with Copics. I fussy-cut them (There are matching dies, but I didn't have them at the time I made this card.) and added some details with a white gel pen. To create the kissing booth, I diecut white cardstock with the Booth Dies. I colored the pieces with Copics and stamped "kissing booth" with the Booth Labels stamp set before assembling everything with liquid adhesive. To fill out my scene, I also diecut two grass pieces with the Grass Tufts Dies and colored them with Copics. For my background I blended blue and green inks onto a panel of white cardstock with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I diecut the panel with the Beyond Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmark Dies and trimmed a panel of blue cardstock to size. I adhered the blue panel to a white card and attached the ink-blended panel with foam tape. After attaching the booth to my card with foam, I tucked in the grass tufts and popped up the pups with thin 3D foam squares. I stamped the sentiment from Dogs/Cats Always Know Good People in black ink and diecut it with the 1.5" Connected Circles Shaker Dies. I cut coral cardstock with the circle die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmark Dies and adhered the sentiment on top with thin 3D foam squares. I popped up the stacked circle with foam, and my card was done. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Happy Paws Birthday Card

Hi, friends! It's Andrea with to share a card featuring new goodies from Picket Fence Studios, specifically the adorable Happy Paws stamp set. How cute are that pet shop and sweet animals?! I used lots of the images from the Happy Paws set to create this one-layer scene. After stamping and masking and stamping some more, I colored this little scene with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. I diecut my scene with the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Dies. The tan mat I cut with the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Dies, and the pink mat I diecut with another die from the A2 Rectangles Dies. I layered the tan and pink mats onto a white card and adhered my scene with foam tape. My sentiment is from the Happy Paws set. I stamped it onto white cardstock, which I diecut with the Beyond Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmark Dies. I trimmed two mats from colored cardstock and layered them behind my sentiment before attaching it to my card with foam. With the A2 Stamp Dies, I also diecut the cancelled-stamp image from pink cardstock. I adhered it to my scene and stamped a paw print from the Dogs/Cats Always Know Good People stamp in the circle. For a little sparkle, I sprinkled some Moonshine Sequins around my card. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Peek A Boo Balloons

Hello there! It's Andrea here sharing a card featuring the new Hot Air Balloon Sighting stamp from Picket Fence Studios. Aren't those heart-shaped balloons from the Hot Air Balloon Sighting set sweet?! I just love them peeking out from that cloud frame! The image is one large stamp, so there's no masking or anything - yay! I stamped the image in the center of a panel of white cardstock and colored it with Copics. I added highlights with a white gel pen, which make the balloons even sweeter, I think. To frame the image, I used the new A2 Cloud Peek A Boo Dies. I diecut the cloud frame from both white and glitter cardstocks. After trimming the glitter frame on the short sides, I offset them under the white border. I adhered the layered frame onto my colored image with foam tape. My sentiment is from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations set. I stamped it in black ink, diecut it with the coordinating dies, and popped it up with foam. I finished the card with a scattering of Moonshine sequins. Sweet Hooray

by Andrea Shell on Nov 26 2024
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun card combining new and previously-released products from Picket Fence Studios. These adorable critters are from the new Peach and Piper: Bad Weather Friends set. That little racoon in the top was the inspiration for this card because to me he looks like he's celebrating (I can just hear him squealing "Hooray!"). After stamping those sweet characters, I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added highlights with a white gel pen. How fun is the new On a Cloudy Day 6x8 Stencil? After placing it over a panel of blue cardstock, I applied Arctic Fox Paper Glaze Luxe with a palette knife. I love the soft sheen and fun texture of this glaze! To fill out my scene, I diecut white cardstock with the Scene Building: Grass Tufts Dies and Slim Line Short Tall Grass Die (retired). I applied two shades of green ink to the grass pieces with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. Once my background was dry, I adhered it to a cardbase and glued the grass border on top. I diecut the Hooray Word Die from metallic and white cardstocks and stacked them together on my card. I popped up my critters with foam adhesive, tucking the tufts of grass underneath the racoons. I added a sentiment from the Hot Air Balloon Sightings stamp and finished with some blue sequins from the Taking Off sequin mix. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Hot Air Ballon Shaker

by Andrea Shell on Nov 19 2024
Hi there! It’s Andrea with you to share a colorful card featuring new goodies from Picket Fence Studios! Isn’t that hot air balloon fun?! I created it with the new Hot Air Balloon Dies, which coordinate perfectly with the new A2 Cloud Peek A Boo Dies that I used for my shaker frame. I started by diecutting white cardstock with the Hot Air Balloon Dies. I placed each piece onto the 4x4 Paper Inking Palette and colored them with dye inks that I applied with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I assembled the balloon with liquid adhesive and added highlights with a white gel pen. That awesome background is from the Adventures in Hot Air Ballooning Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. To frame the panel, I diecut white cardstock with the A2 Cloud Peek A Boo Dies. I blended the diecut with pink ink and added splatters of water. I backed the cloud diecut with clear acetate and a layer of foam tape and used the new Carnival Day sequin mix for my shaker. For my sentiment I combined the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp with the Hot Air Balloons Sighting set. I heat-embossed “hello” from the Swanky Sentiments set in gold onto white cardstock and diecut it with the coordinating dies. I white heat-embossed the supporting sentiment from the Hot Air Balloons Sighting set onto pink cardstock and trimmed it down. I popped up the hot air balloon and sentiments with foam adhesive and finished with a few pearls from the Carnival Day mix. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Monochromatic Magnolias: Coloring on Colored Cardstock

by Andrea Shell on Nov 06 2024
Hello there! It's Andrea with you to share some inspiration with the Graceful Magnolias stamp set from the October release. After seeing other designers color images on colored cardstock, I have wanted to try it. With its beautiful florals, the Graceful Magnolias stamp seemed the perfect candidate for that technique, too. I began by embossing the magnolia spray onto navy cardstock with WOW! Polished Silver Super Fine Embossing Powder. I added color to the flowers and buds with colored pencils, starting with a light color (I recommend white for a base layer) and working up to darker ones. I heat-embossed a second spray onto vellum with WOW! On the Lake Embossing Glitter. I diecut both images with the coordinating die. I kept my background simple to have the focus on my floral images. I diecut the same navy cardstock with the A2 Basket Weave Cover Panel Die and mounted it onto metallic cardstock. I think the result is very elegant! I glued the two magnolia sprays together and attached them to my background with foam squares. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Swanky Sentiments: Sympathy set with the silver embossing powder and diecut it with the coordinating die. I adhered my sentiment to a strip of vellum and wrapped the strip around my background panel, which I affixed to a cardbase. For more sparkle, I added clear gems to the background. Hello There - Memo Pad

by Brenda Noelke on Nov 01 2024
Happy Friday, fellow crafters!! Brenda back with you today!! I've always loved new notebooks...oh, the possibilities!! The beginning of the school year was so exciting to me because we always got new school supplies!! So, I was super excited to see the composition notebook products in the October release!!  I began by adhering a narrow strip of black cardstock along the left side of a panel of blue paper from the Memo Pad: Brights Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Front Pack. I used a corner rounder to round both of the corners on the right side. I rounded the right corners of an A2 card base and adhered the panel to it using liquid glue. Next, I die-cut the A2 Ripped Notebook Cover Plate Die from white cardstock. I stamped the numbers from the A2 Notebook Grid Stamp along the left edge of the die-cut with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. It was adhered to the front of the card. The sentiment is from the Hello There Word Die Set. It was cut from teal and black cardstock, stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the front of the card. A few Thunderstorm Gems add a bit of sparkle to finish off the card. I love how this turned out!! Did you always look forward to new school supplies?!? A brand new notebook still makes my heart happy!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!! Woodland Friend

by Andrea Shell on Oct 24 2024
Hi, there! It's Andrea here to share a woodland, fall-inspired card featuring products from Picket Fence Studios. The inspiration for this card came from the fun Vintage Heart stamp from the October release. I paired it with the new Friend Stacked Word Dies and one of the cute foxes from the Layered Fauna: Larger Playful Fox Dies. My idea was to have the fox in place of the "i" in friend; I think it's fun when animals or objects are used to represent a letter. I began by stamping the Vintage Heart stamp with beige ink onto white cardstock. To add the brown ink to the bark, I applied darker ink to the stamp with a Neutral Pint-sized Paper Pouncer before stamping. I diecut the heart with the coordinating dies. For my background, I blended white cardstock with green ink and added splatters of Opaque Gold Paper Splatter. Once the drops were dry, I trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a white cardbase. I popped up the heart with foam squares. I diecut the Friend Stacked Word Dies three times from white cardstock and once from brown. After trimming the "i" from the diecuts, I stacked the brown layer on top of two white layers and offset the third white diecut to create a highlight. I adhered the layered diecut to my card and attached the fox (leftover from a previous project and colored with Copics) from the Layered Fauna: Larger Playful Fox Dies with foam. I diecut some leaves from metallic cardstock with the Layered Flora: Fall Foliage Dies and glued them to the heart, along with a few gold pearls. The sub-sentiment is from the Vintage Heart stamp and was attached with two layers of foam. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a card featuring several products from Picket Fence Studios' October release. You might recognize that cute girl from an earlier release: She's from the Freckle Friends: Penelope Pumpkin stamp set. I colored her with Copics, cut her out with the coordinating dies, and added white highlights with a gel pen. The marbled background was created with the new A2 Marble Notebook Cover stamp. I stamped it in pink onto white cardstock and diecut it with the new Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles & Cover Plate Dies. I attached the background to a white card with double-sided adhesive. Using the new A2 Ripped Notebook Cover Plate Die, I diecut both white and peach cardstocks. Onto the white diecut, I stamped the small floral spray from the Autumn Bountiful Beauty set twice in a soft orange ink and a sentiment from the same set in black. I trimmed off the top portion of the peach diecut, leaving just the ripped edge. I adhered the white piece with foam to my card and tucked under the peach strip. I affixed my colored image with foam and added some gems from the new Thunderstorm Gem Mix for a little sparkle. For the finishing touch, I wrapped black twine around the top of the card.
