Thinking of You Shaker Card with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing the shaker card featuring the Torch Ginger Tropical Flower Stamp and Die, More Fancy Sentiments Stamp and Dies, Center Flower 6x6 Stencil, Silver Bells Paper Glitz and Iridescent Moonshine Sequin Mix. Let's begin! I started by placing the Flower 6x6 Stencil on top of an A2 panel and applied Silver Bells Paper Glitz using the Mixed Media Spatulas. I removed the stencil and let this panel dry for about 20 minutes. Once the panel was dry, I added a card base at the back using glue. Next, I die cut a frame using two rectangles dies out of peach cardstock. Additionally, I die cut a piece of acetate and adhered it to the back of the frame using double sided tape. This way I created the window for the shaker. Next, I poured the Iridescent Moonshine Sequin Mix on top of the background created with the Silver Bells Paper Glitz. I also adhered foam tape around the window of the shaker, removed the backing paper and placed it on top of the background to close the shaker window. Torch Ginger Tropical Flower Stamp was stamped using Gingerbread Wood Hybrid ink from Scrapbook.com and I colored the image using Copic markers. I die cut this image using the matching die and placed it on top of the shaker background. Finally, my sentiment from More Fancy Sentiments Stamp was stamped using Black Hybrid ink pad and then it was die cut using the coordinating die. Coloring with Paper Glitz

Hello crafty friends! Today i'm sharing one of the cards that I made for the 7 in 7 event. On this slimline card I colored through a stencil using Paper Glitz and a dauber. The products that I used for this slimline card are Slim Line Oversized Joy to the World Die, Slim Line Cut Flower Stencil, Paper Glitz Autumn Persimmon, Paper Glitz Lime Christmas Green, Paper Glitz True Christmas Red and Slim Line Die Cutting System. I started by adding Pixie spray to the back of the Slim Line Cut Flower stencil, then I placed it on top of a heavy cardstock. I applied small quantities of Paper Glitz with dauber, coloring the center of the flower, the petals and the space around. The colors I used were Paper Glitz Autumn Persimmon, Paper Glitz Lime Christmas Green, Paper Glitz True Christmas Red. Next, I let the panel dry for about 20 minutes. Paper Glitz is a medium that dries very fast which is very helpful. Once my panel was dry, I die cut it using a layering base die from the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I also added on top of this background a piece of velum. Then, I adhered a black folded card base. On a piece of cardstock I applied Paper Glitz Autumn Persimmon using a spatula and let it dry. Once it was dry, I die cut the Slim Line Oversized Joy to the World Die out of it. Additionally, I die cut another set of these dies out of white cardstock to be used as a shadow behind the die cuts with Paper Glitz Autumn Persimmon. Finally, I added the Joy to the World die cuts on top of the velum using tape runner and this Slimline Christmas card was ready. Non Traditional Colors for a Fall Shaker Card

Hello crafty friends! I'm so happy to be back and today I'm sharing with all of you one of the cards that I made at the 7 in 7 event. This is a Fall shaker card with non traditional colors featuring the Medley of Fall Collage stamp part of the Seamless Collection. I started this card, that looks like a mini slimline card, by stamping the images using Gingerbread Hybrid ink from Scrapbook.com over watercolor paper. For this technique I also used a Misti. Then, I colored all images with teals, greens and browns shades. I fabulous and quick way to color a background with lots of images is using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a watercolor brush. Once I finished watercoloring, I trimmed down this panel and additionally I cut another panel a bit larger but this time out of Neenah Desert Storm. I placed this panel behind the watercolor panel and added a bit of washi tape on each side to secure both panel because I run these through my die cutting machine using the small circle frame die from the Scallop Frames Slim Line Die Cutting System. Once I had the shaker window created I took off the washi tape and then I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the watercolor panel. I placed back the larger panel and used glue to adhered both panels. Also, I added foam tape all around the back of these panels, removed the backing paper and placed the Pumpkins Cookies Embellishment Plus Mixes on top of my cad base. Next, I closed the shaker window and the shaker was created! As a final touch, I die cut using again the small circle frame die from the Scallop Frames Slim Line Die Cutting System out of a teal cardstock and added it around the shaker window. Last, I stamp my sentiment using Autumn Fancy Sentiments stamp and placed it under the shaker and this card was finished! I thought I'd drop by to say Croak with Karen

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing this slimline card featuring the new Cattails Die, Pond Scenery Stamp and dies, Drop by to Say Bye Croak Stamp and dies and Slimline Trees Silhouette Cover Plate Die. Let's start this tutorial! I die cut a piece of cardstock using the Slim Line Die Cutting System and applied ink using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and once it was dry I adhered a slimline folded card base at the back. Then, I stamped the images from Drop by to Say Bye Croak Stamp and Pond Scenery Stamps using Gingerbread hybrid ink from Scrapbook.com and I colored them with Copic markers. I die cut these images using the coordinating dies. Additionally, I die cut the Cattails Die out of white cardstock and colored it using Copic markers. Next, I stamped the sentiment using Black hybrid ink from Picket Fence Studios on my background panel. Also, I placed the Cattails and the Pond Scenery image die cuts previously colored on the panel as well using glue. Finally, I die cut the Trees Silhouette Cover Plate three times to create more dimension and glued them one on top of each other. I applied inks to the cover plate using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and placed it on top of my background panel, then I added the frogs around and this slimline card was finished. Just Peeking in on You! with Karen Reategui

Hi friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios blog showing this slimline card featuring the new Cats are Family Stamp and dies, Scallop Frame Slimline Dies and Slimline Details of a Wing Stencil. Let’s begin! I placed the Slimline Details of a Wing Stencil on top of a white cardstock an using a Life Changing Blender Brush I applied Lawn Fawn Manatee ink. Then, I used one of the scallop frame to die cut the cardstock using my Gemini Jr. Additionally, using one of the circle die from the Slimline Die Cutting System I die cut the scalloped frame. I placed a Neenah Desert Storm panel underneath the scalloped panel using glue. At this point, I needed to stamp the sentiment from the same stamp Cats are Family and using Black Hybrid ink. Finally, I stamped two images from Cats are Family Stamp using Gingerbread Hybrid ink onto a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. I colored them using Copic markers and then I die cut them with them coordinating dies. Also, a white folded slimline card was adhered at the back using glue and this card was done. Happy Day with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! I hope you all are doing good and healthy. Today I'm sharing this slimline card featuring the new Slimline Nested Rectangles Dies that comes with this wonderful word dies: Happy, Day, Get Well and Lovely. All of them have the matching shadow dies too. So for this card I used the Coloring Book Stencil, Oak Leaves Die, Life Changing Blender Brushes and the new Slimline Nested Rectangles Dies. Let's begin! I die cut the largest stitched rectangle die out of white cardstock. Then using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I applied inks from Catherine Pooler. Once I finished, I placed the Coloring Book Stencil on top of this panel in a diagonal way and using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I applied the same color of inks. When the panel was dry I die cut it using the 7.75"x 2.75" Nested Stitched Rectangles Die, which is the smallest one from the large rectangles. Additional, I die cut another panel from white cardstock using the 8"x 3" Nested Stitched Rectangles Die. On top of a slimline folded card I adhered the largest panel using glue. Then, on top I placed the white panel and finally I added the smallest one that was cut out from the largest panel. I love the look of this panel and how easy was to create it using the Slimline Nested Stitched Rectangles Dies. I also die cut the words Happy Day three times from white cardstock and one last time out of glitter cardstock. I glued all of them and placed the glitter die cuts on top. Using glue I added the Happy Day word dies to the panel. In addition, I die cut from vellum three Oak Leaves Dies and placed them behind the letters H and Y using glue. Wild Peonies with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing this floral slimline card using Aurora Borealis stamp, Wild Peonis stamp set and the new Thank You word die from the February release. I heat embossed this image and added color using Copic markers. Let's start! Using the Slimline Die Cutting System I die cut a layering base from white cardstock and heat embossed on top the Aurora Borealis stamp using WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I adhered a white folded slimline card at the back with glue. On a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80 lbs. I stamped the Wild Peonies stamp using Black Hybrid ink from Picket Fence Studios and I colored it using Copic markers. I recently damaged two Copic markers while coloring on top of a heat embossed image so from now on I decided to first stamp my image using a Copic friendly ink and then after I finished coloring I can heat emboss. To be able to first stamp the image with ink and then stamp it again in the same place to heat emboss after you finish coloring you will need a MISTI, so don't remove your stamp from the MISTI door. So once I finished coloring I placed my piece of cardstock inside the MISTI again and inked up my image with WOW! Embossing Pad and then I heat embossed it with WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder. I fussy cut this image and added it to my background using foam tape for more dimension, then I trimmed down the parts hanging out of the edges. Additionally, I die cut 5 times the Thank You word die out of white cardstock and once from gold mirror specialty paper. I glued them all with the gold die cut on top and added it to my background next to the flowers. As a final touch I added these new Gem Mixes coming soon to the Picket Fence Studios shop. They matched perfectly the color combination from this card that I had to used them, but they will be part of the March release. Hi friends! Today I'm sharing this slimline card featuring the new Oh, So Many Cards Stamp, Slimline Basket Petals Stencil and the new Gem Mixes. Let's begin! I die cut a layering base out of a piece of Sea Glass cardstock using the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I placed on top the Slimline Basket Petals Stencil and using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I applied the following Distress Oxide inks: Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. Next, I stamped the Oh, So Many Cards Stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Metallica Silver Embossing Powder. Then, I adhered a folded card note using glue and as the final touch I put some gems around, I used whites and blues from Purple Side of the Rainbow and Day and Night Gem Mixes. Happy Winter with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing these two cards and I decided to created an abstract background for my cards, applying different inks pads directly to paper to transfer the ink. This was really fun and super easy. Also, I'm using Snowflake Alice Die, that I heat embossed using WOW! Manuela's Honey Embossing Powder, WOW! Midas Touch Embossing Glitter, WOW! Vintage Champagne Embossing Glitter and WOW! Peppermint Scrub Embossing Glitter. The stamps for my sentiments are from Baby It's Cold Outside and A Gnome Winter Stamp Sets. Let's start! I pulled out some inks pads with different blue shades, greens and yellow. I used Catherine Pooler inks and the colors I chose were: Juniper Mist, Daydream, Eucalyptus, Green Tea and Sauna. I swipe my ink pads in different directions covering my whole panel and honestly the sky's the limit with this awesome ink background technique. Immediately, I added some water splatters and I loved this background even more. I let it dry aside. When it dried, I trimmed it down to an A2 panel. For my next background I followed the same steps and this time the inks I used were Juniper Mist, Daydream, Aquatini and a little bit of Mint to Be. All these inks are from Catherine Pooler Designs. I also added water splatters to this second background and let it dry. Once it was dry I trimmed it down to an A2 panel. Next, I die cut the Snowflake Alice Die twice out of white cardstock and I applied WOW! Embossing Pad to one of them using the WOW! Mixed Media Embossing Brush. With this brush I was able to apply the embossing in part where I wanted an specific color. So first I started by using the WOW! Manuela's Honey Embossing Powder, I heat embossed it and then I went to the next color but first I applied the embossing with the brush on those empty areas. The second embossing powder color was WOW! Midas Touch Embossing Glitter, but it was too shiny so I decided to apply more embossing on top of the areas with the Midas Touch and I simply loved the new shade of color. I think these colors turned out to be perfect for contrasting the background. I glued the second white snowflake, a bit aside, and at the back of the snowflake I just heat embossed. So now to create the first card I used my second background and I added the snowflakes on top with more glue and trimmed down the part that was outside the panel. Next, I adhered a white folded notecard at the back. Finally, I placed the sentiment from A Gnome Winter Stamp Set on top of the snowflake. I stamped this sentiment using Black Hybrid Ink by Picket Fence Studios. Lastly, I added some white sequins from Picket Fence Studios as well. For this second card I used the first background that I created at the beginning. But in this case I heat embossed WOW! Vintage Champagne Embossing Glitter and WOW! Peppermint Scrub Embossing Glitter on top of the snowflake. I think those red touches from the Peppermint Scrub were great to create more contrast making the snowflake to pop up nicely from the background. Here you can see a closer look of the snowflake and the different shades around it. The sentiment for this card is from Baby It's Cold Outside Stamp Set from Picket Fence Studios and was also stamped using Black Hybrid Ink. The sequins is Gin & Tonic Sequin Mix from Picket Fence Studios. I hope you liked these cards and try this awesome ink background technique to create really nice abstract backgrounds. Someone Said Glitter?

Hello friends! Today I’m so happy to be sharing this card full of glitter and it’s literally full of glitter! This technique combines stencil and glitter and it is super fun and it doesn’t take too much time. For this card I’m using the Floral Stencil and Thank You for a being You Stamp Set. Let’s begin! I started by creating the background and I added double sided taped to panel that is 3 1/4 x 4 1/2. Then I removed and saved the release paper. Next, I applied Pixie Spray to my Floral Stencil and placed it on top of my panel. To make sure the stencil is pretty well stuck to my panel and the glitter doesn’t get behind it, I laid down the release paper on top and rubbed the stencil on with a bone folder. Then, I poured some purple glitter on top and I let it go like waterfall over the stencil so all the adhesive showing through the stencil will hold the glitter. You need to tap a little bit the panel the get off the excess and then you placed the release paper on top again and press the glitter into the adhesive using a bone folder. My next step is to carefully remove the stencil and applied the second color of glitter. This time is a bright yellow to make all the flowers pop up from the background. I just poured the glitter on top, shake off the excess and placed the release paper on top again to make sure the adhesive holds the glitter. Finally, I adhered a white folded card note at the back using foam tape for more dimension. I also heat embossed with silver embossing powder the sentiment and placed it at the bottom of my panel and this card is done! I really hope you try this technique is very easy and the results are so amazing! You can’t image how gorgeous this card shines in person. Have a phenomenal rest of the week! Coffee Awesomeness with Karen Reategui

Hi friends! Today I’m up at Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this card for all coffee lovers and I’m featuring Coffee Understand Stamp Set and Dies, Coffee Word Die, Favorite Notification Stamp Set and Fancy Flourish Stencil along with WOW! Etched Platinum, WOW! Bahama and WOW! Weathered Gold Embossing Powders. Let’s start! I placed this beautiful and intricate Fancy Flourish Stencil on top of a white A2 panel, applied WOW! Embossing Pad and then heat embossed it with Etched Platinum Embossing Powder. Then, I adhered a white notecard at the back using liquid glue. I die cut a white circle out of cardstock and glued it on my background. Additionally, I stamped two cups from Coffee Understand Stamp Set using LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks and die cut both using the coordinating die. I also, added the cups to my background. Finally, I die cut the Coffee Word Die and heat embossed it using WOW! Bahama Embossing Powder. I put this word die next to the cups. A strip with my sentiment was also placed below and I used Favorite Notification Stamp Set and WOW! Weathered Gold Embossing Powder to heat embossed it. This card is flat so it’s perfect for mailing. Hello Shaker Card with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m up at Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this shaker card featuring the Peony Foil Impression Die, the Brocade Stencil and Spiked Ocean Water Sequin Mix. Let’s begin! Using the Peony Foil Impression Die and gold foil on a white cardstock I foiled the peony with the help of a Gemini Foilpress machine. Then, I die cut the flower using the matching die and reserved it. Next, on a white panel I created an ombré look using different shades of blues with the help of my Life Changing Blender Brushes. Once my panel was dry, I placed the Brocade Stencil on top and applied white ink. Additionally, I heat embossed the Hello sentiment from the Fancy Sentiments Stamp Set with WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder. I added a clear plastic bag to my panel that I trimmed down and secured at the back using double sided tape. Before closing the panel I put the Spiked Ocean Water Sequin Mix inside. Finally, I adhered a white folded note card at the back and placed the foiled peony on top using foam tape. Christmas Shaker Card with Karen Reategui

Hello my crafty friends! Today I’m sharing this Christmas shaker card over Picket Fence Studios Blog. For this card, I have used new stamps from the July Release HO HO HO and Reindeer Stamps along with Gin & Tonic Sequin Mix. Let’s begin! I die cut this slim panel and applied inks to it using the Life Changing Blender Brushes. Next, with the help of my MISTI I stamped the Reindeer Stamp all across the slim panel using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. Then, I adhered a piece of cellophane wrap from a sheet of chipboard stickers. I cut the cellophane slightly bigger than my slim panel. Then, I folded every side of the cellophane and secured only three sides at the back of my panel using double sided tape. I added the Gin & Tonic sequins through the side that was still opened and then I closed it with more double sided tape. On a piece of acetate I stamped the HO HO HO Stamp Set using WOW! Embossing Pad and the heat embossed it with WOW! Metallic Silver Embossing Powder. I think this silver matched great the color of the sequins. I also, adhered this piece of acetate to the shaker. Finally, I added a white scalloped slim panel at the back and a red folded note card and my Christmas shaker card was ready! I hope you enjoyed this card and give it a try. New Sequins Mix with Karen Reategui

Hello! Today I’m up at Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing these shaker cards using my the new Sequins Mix. This is a great idea to create simple but beautiful cards using your leftover die cuts from previous projects and put them to good use. You can also check out the how-to video at Picket Fence Studios YouTube channel here. Let’s begin with the first shaker. I’m using Picking Flowers and Fabulously Perfect Stamp from Picket Fence Studios. I die cut a circle die out of a white cardstock. I adhered a piece of acetate at the back. Then, I added some foam strips around the circle window plus more foam tape along the panel. Next, I added the Pink Lady Sequin Mix on top of a white note card and placed my panel with the acetate on top. This way my shaker is created! I had these flowers already done from a previous project and I added them off to the side of the shaker window so this way most of the shaker could be exposed. Finally, I stamped the Fabulously Perfect stamp using Hybrid Black ink from Picket Fence Studios. On my second shaker, I die cut another circle die out of a white cardstock and I also adhered a piece of acetate at the back. Then, I added some foam strips around the circle window and more foam tape. I added the Berry Infusion Sequin Mix on top of a white note card and placed my panel with the acetate on top. I added this girl from BFF Ballerina Girl Stamp using foam tape and finally I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set. On my following shaker, after die cutting the circle die I adhered the piece of acetate, plus the foam strips and foam tape at the back. Then, I added the Spiked Ocean Sequin Mix onto a white note card and closed the shaker window. I used this fish from One Year Older Stamp Set and the sentiment stamped is from the same stamp. As you can see all the shaker cards I created are very easy to make and have the same steps, this way you could definitely mass produce. My next example is perfect for a fall themed card. The sequin mix used here is Moscow Mule. It has these muted colors and a shiny orange. The critter and sentiment are from A Little Nuts Stamp Set. And here you have a Christmas Shaker Card, isn’t that beautiful? This deer and even the piece of red cardstock with the sentiment were leftovers from a previous card and I’m so glad I was able to use them on this shaker. I used Holiday Hopper Sequin Mix on this card and the deer is from On A Christmas Walk Stamp Set and the sentiment is from The Season of Giving Stamp Set. my sentiment has been white heat-embossed using WOW! Embossing Powder. My last shaker card was the easiest of all of them! I used here Christmas Punch Sequin Mix and this gorgeous Merry Christmas Foiled Impression Die. The size was absolutely perfect as a focal point on this card and you still can see the shaker almost fully exposed. Loving this May Release with Karen Reategui

Hi friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing all cards I made for this new release. There’s a whole lot of awesomeness in this May release. I have made several cards and I’ll be showing you how I did one of them. So let’s get started. For this card, I’m featuring the Dad’s Day Stamp that I stamped onto Strathmore Bristol watercolor paper using Black Hybrid ink. Then, I added color using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Once my panel was dry, I added a piece of pattern paper and a black card base at the back using glue. Next, I placed the Quilting Market Stencil by Picket Fence Studios on top of my panel and applied white ink usually a Life Changing Blender Brush. Finally, I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment from the same Dad’s Day Stamp Set onto black and added to the background plus a few white Nuvo Drops as a final touch and my card was finished. So now let’s see all the cards I made for this awesome release! For this card, I did a no-line coloring for the Nautilus Shell. Then, I created the background using LDRS inks and the Life Changing Blender Brushes from Picket Fence Studios and added Snowdrop White Paper Glaze at the back. I’m in love with this color combination for this nautical card. On this card, I’m using A Rose Stamp, which is absolutely gorgeous. The size of this rose creates a great focal point in your card. I heat embossed all the flowers and leaves using silver embossing powder and also I did a copic coloring. Here I have a shaker card and if you follow me you know how much I love shaker cards. I’m also using A Rose Stamp and you can use this stamp for a Mother’s Day card just like I did it. On these two cards I also did a no-line coloring. I kept these cards very simple and with a black and white backgrounds since I the flowers already had a lot of colors and I wanted them to be the focal point. Next, I have this card featuring the Spliced Heart Stencil. There are many possibilities for this awesome stencil. I simply love this stamp You or WIFI. I even love the name lol. It comes with fabulous sentiments too. And for this card, I did a Copic coloring and kept it very simple since my main idea on this card was to express a very relaxing scene where you can go and unplug! I have a set of two cards and one more below where I’m using Fleur di lis Stencil with a mix of Paper Glaze. And on this card, I actually mixed three different colors of Paper Glaze and created this new color. It could be Red, Carmine, Poppy... You name it! For this card, I also mixed more colors of Paper Glaze and got this awesome coffee color. This stamp set is gorgeous! To the Lovely Couple Stamp Set is perfect for Birthday cards, Weddings and other celebrations. I have heat embossed the cake using gold embossing powder and did a simple Copic coloring. And for my last card I made a shaker card. I also used To the Lovely Couple Stamp Set and white heat embossed the image. Hello friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this card where I’m featuring the Geo Pineapple and Pineapple Collage Stencils, Something Sweet Stamp Set for my sentiment, Rose Gold, Daffodil Yellow and Leaf Green Paper Glaze. Let’s begin! I started by placing the Pineapple Collage Stencil on top of a panel and using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I applied the ink. I used the following colors from LDRS Creative: Key Lime Pie, Olive Branch, Lantern Yellow and Iced Tea. They work really awesome by the way! Then, I placed the Geo Pineapple on top of this background and I applied Rose Gold, Daffodil Yellow and Leaf Green Paper Glaze. I spread the paper glaze and also I pat using the same spatula to create more texture. Also, to speed up the drying process I used my heat tool on top and got those wonderful bubbles that completed the texture on this card. Once it was dry I added some Nuvo drops for a final touch on the pineapple. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Something Sweet Stamp Set using the Black Hybrid ink. Welcome Baby Girl with Karen Reategui

Hello friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios blog sharing how I created this baby card. I’m featuring the Sleeping Baby Stamp and Die and the Fancy Flourish Stencil. Let’s begin! This card was very easy to create. I stamped the Sleeping Baby stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Rose Glintz embossing powder. This color of embossing is very similar to skin color so I thought it would be perfect for this baby. Then, I colored the baby using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and die cut it with the matching die. Also, using an oval die I die cut a piece of pink cardstock, placed the Fancy Flourish Stencil on top and applied white ink. I adhered this piece of cardstock to a white card base using glue. Next, I wanted to create a baby comforter and I was inspired by my little daughter’s comforter she used for her crib. I had this wonderful ruffled ribbon long time ago and thought it was perfect for the comforter. I cut three pieces and glued them to my background, one on top of each other. Finally, I added the baby using foam tape and heat embossed the sentiment using WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder and placed it on top and this card was finished. Eiko Girl with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this floral card with a partial die cutting. I’m featuring the Eiko Girl Stamp and die, Flowers for Picking Stamp and dies, Glass Window Rainbow Die and for my sentiments I used A Pain In My Ass Stamp. Let’s create the background! I placed the Glass Window Rainbow Die on top of a white cardstock and make a partial die cutting. I added a piece of glitter paper at the back of this panel and then I adhered a white card base using glue. Next, I stamped the Eiko Girl and Flowers for Picking Stamps onto watercolor paper and applied pink, yellow, skin and brown shades of watercolor. Once my panel is dry, I die cut all the images using the coordinating dies. Finally, I arranged all the die cuts on top of my panel using glue and foam tape for some dimensions.
