HELLO... It's Bobbi here with a big "hello" and a handful of lovelies! This card features the following Picket Fence Studios products:  Hello Word Topper Die Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Die Set Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies My card is 5" X 7". The card base, card front and many of the die cuts are made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock.  To make this A7-sized card, I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies.  I colored the images using my Copic Sketch Markers in the following colors : Browns: E59, E57, E55, E42, E11 Yellow and Yellow-Reds: YR27, YR24, Y21  Blues: BG72, BG71, BG11, BG10, B00, B000 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG63 I also die cut the Hello Word Topper Die and the Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Die Set. I used metallic dot paper for the hello and a nice green cardstock for the heart die. The tiny vine's flowers were cut from a coordinating aqua blue and a pretty blush colored cardstock. I added the florals to the green leafy heart and also added a few gems to the flowers' centers, too.  For the background, I splattered watercolor paint in gold, pink and black to the front. After it fully dried, I assembled the card with the (1) heart vine to the back, then the (2) "hello" die cut and lastly all the fun little elements from the Waiting on Karma stamp set and coordinating dies. This card is ready to send!  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Hello friends. It's Bobbi Lemanski here sharing another card using the new products from the February release by Picket Fence Studios. Today's card features the following new products:  Simple Blooming Daisies stamp set and coordinating Die Set Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies Layering Floral: Hardy Fern Die Sequin Mix Plus - A Bird's Feathers This 5" X 7" card is made from Neenah 80lb solar white cardstock.  To create this A7-sized card, I started by splattering the front of the card base with watercolor in purples and grays. Next, I die cut the arched window using a warm gray cardstock with Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. This die cut gives the appearance of a window background.  I stamped, die cut, and colored the floral arrangement using the following Copic Sketch colors: Yellows: YR27, YR24, Y19, Y08, and Y06 Fuchsias: RV99, RV69, RV09, RV17, and RV02  Greens: YG67, YG17, and YG03 I die cut four Layering Flora: Hardy Fern Die fronds to use with the florals I attached the fern dies for the background and added the florals using foam tabs to make the flowers stand out a bit from the arched design. I also stamped and die cut the sentiment and added it to the front with foam tabs. Lastly, a few sequins were added to accent the focal point florals.   You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Hollyhock Hello and a Shaped Card

by Andrea Shell on Mar 04 2025

Hi there! It's Andrea here to share my last project as a design team member for Picket Fence Studios. It has been a pleasure and an honor to be on the team, and I hope I have inspired you even just a little. My card features the new Hollyhocks in Bloom stamp set along with the Beyond the Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. I colored the hollyhocks with Copics and added a little shading with colored pencils before diecutting the image with the coordinating dies. I created a shaped cardbase with one of the scalloped arch dies from the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. With the same die, I created a scalloped arch from white cardstock. To add interest to the arch, I blended light blue ink through the Classic Hatch 6x8 Stencil with a Life Changing Blender Brush. I flicked Opaque Gold Paper Splatter over the panel using the Fan Brush. Once the background was dry, I adhered it to my cardbase and added a gold frame created with the A2 Scallops Dies. My focal sentiment was created with the Hello 3.0 Word Topper Die. First, I applied Peony Pink Paper Glaze to white cardstock. Once the glaze was dry, I diecut "hello" from the pink cardstock. I also diecut "hello" from white cardstock to layer behind the pink diecut to help it stand out on my card. I stamped a supporting sentiment from the Hollyhocks set and diecut it with the coordinating dies. To assemble my card, I attached the hollyhocks with thin 3D foam squares. After trimming the layered Hello diecuts slightly, I adhered it with foam and popped up my supporting sentiment on top. I finished with a scattering of gems from the In Wonderland Gem Mix. So Many Ducks In A Row

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 26 2025
Hello friends. It's Bobbi here with a few of my cute duck friends! This 5" X 7" card is filled with five ducks in a row and an extra two to playing by the water! Mother Duck is strolling through with her adorable bucket hat on. I'm using the following products by Picket Fence Studios:  You Are Quacktastic stamps and dies (Bundle) Scene Building: A2 Tall Grass Die My card is 5" X 7" and made from Neenah 80lb white cardstock for the card base and the card front.  To make this A7-sized card, I stamped, die cut and colored, using Copic Sketch Marker all the ducks, duck pond and greenery.  I used the following Copic colors: YR24, Y19, Y08, Y06, YR15, YR68 for the duck bodies. Other colors include B05, B02, B00, B000, R17, R14, C3, C1, YR67, YR17, and YR03.  To make this overall scene setting, I ink blended Tumbled Glass to the upper half of the card front to create the sky, I added the Scene Building: A2 Tall Grass Die cuts for the scene's background around the middle of the card. I also added some hand cut green hills for the ducks to walk on and added more grass to the front of the ducks. I nestled the pond into the grassy area and added some of the greenery images from the set. I used Copics to create the ground cover around the pond. I also added a white 1/8" strip below the grassy and stamped and the phrase in the white space.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Dainty Tea Cup

Dainty Tea Cup

by Andrea Shell on Feb 25 2025

Hi there! It's Andrea here to share an elegant card featuring some new products from Picket Fence Studios. I have a collection of tea cups - including a blue and white one! - so I was drawn to the new Dainty Cup Dies! Isn't this sweet cup pretty?! I started by coloring white cardstock with Liquid Forget-me-nots Paper Splatter. You can't tell in the photos, but the paper splatter has a lovely shimmer to it. While that was drying, I diecut a separate panel of white cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. After tracing the white cup onto the colored panel, I cut out the blue cup with my scissors and then glued the white diecut on top. I also diecut metallic cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. I trimmed away parts of the metallic diecut and adhered them to my assembled tea cup. I love creating my own patterned papers with stencils! For the blue paper, I applied Snowdrop White Paper Glaze through the A Whole Lot of Polka Dots 6x8 Stencil (retired). I created the yellow paper by blending yellow ink through the Indian Summer 6x8 Stencil. After removing the stencil, I added Opaque Gold Paper Splatter to the yellow panel. I allowed both papers to dry. I trimmed down the blue paper and adhered it to a square card. I diecut the yellow paper with the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. Using the same die set, I cut a scalloped panel from white cardstock and a border from metallic cardstock. I glued the yellow arch and metallic outline onto the white scallop and trimmed it down. After wrapping blue ribbon around the top of the scallop, I attached the piece to my card with foam tape. I attached the tea cup to my card with foam squares and added some foliage and flowers created with the Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Dies. For the centers of the flowers, I used amber gems from the In Wonderland Gem Mix. I stamped a sentiment from the Hollyhocks in Blooms stamp, diecut it with the coordinating dies, and popped it up with thin foam squares. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Cup Runneth Over With Blooms and 'Shrooms

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 19 2025
I remember in the movie, Hope Floats, the young girl character, Bernice Pruitt says, "My cup runneth over." If I recall correctly, her grandma would often use this phrase from Psalm 23:5. It means that someone is so blessed or filled with good things that they have more than enough. I love that phrase. When I made this card, I thought about that phrase and just wanted to show that feeling in my design. It's Bobbi Lemanski here with a teacup full of goodness! I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios Whimsical Wonderland release products:  Hollyhocks in Bloom stamps and coordinating dies Mushrooms Aplenty stamps Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies Dainty Cup die Layering Flora: Hardy Fern die  This 5" X 7" card is made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock for the card base and front panel. To make this card, I started by die cutting the teacup top layer from an aqua cardstock and the shadow layer from white cardstock. I added a few highlight marks on the top layer using my white Gelly Roll pen.  To fill the teacup, I stamped, colored and die cut the flowers using the Hollyhocks in Bloom stamps and coordinating dies. I did the same using the Mushrooms Aplenty stamps. I fussy cut the mushrooms since I did not have the dies. They were very quick to cut out. For both the flowers and mushrooms, I used Copic Sketch markers in R29, R27, R17, R14, R22, and R20. I also used YG67, YG17 and YG03 for the leaves as well as E43, E42, W3 and W1 for the mushroom stems and some shadowing. Additional greenery was added to the teacup arrangement using the Layering Flora: Hardy Fern die. I cut the leaves from a green cardstock and filled in the arrangement with the fronds. With the teacup complete, I focused on the background. I splattered the 5" X 7" card front with black watercolor paint. I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints and a fan brush to create the splatters. I added a solid aqua scalloped arch die and an arch window pane die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. I attached the teacup in front of the layered arched die cuts using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit. Lastly, I added the "thank you" sentiment from the Hollyhocks in Bloom stamp set. This "cup has runneth over" with beautiful blooms and 'shrooms! You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios Whimsical Wonderland new release here. Alice-in-Wonderland Inspired Card

by Andrea Shell on Feb 18 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back with you. Are you a fan of Alice in Wonderland? Picket Fence Studios has introduced some fun products inspired by the story. That sweet girl is from the new Freckle Friends: Astonishing Alice stamp set. I colored her with my Zig waterbrush markers and cut her out with the coordinating dies. My colors were inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. The harlequin paper is from the new Patterns of Wonderland A2 Card Fronts pack. After adhering the panel to a white card, I added rectangles cut from two of the Alice in Wonderland Card Fronts (blue gingham and red polka dot). With the Basic Die Cutting Die Set 1, I diecut an arch from a third Alice in Wonderland paper (mushrooms) and a smaller arch from black cardstock. I layered the arches together and adhered them to my card with foam tape. I attached my colored image with thin 3D foam squares. I created my floral embellishments with the Sweet Cherry Blossoms Dies. The small blue flower and the blue flower center were cut with the new Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Dies. For the center of both flowers, I used gems from the new In Wonderland Gem mix. I stamped a sentiment from the Astonishing Alice set and diecut it with an oval die from the Basic Die Cutting Set 1 Dies. I attached my sentiment with foam and finished with a few more gems from the In Wonderland mix. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Hoppy Easter Bunny Basket

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 12 2025
Hello, friends. It's Bobbi Lemanski with some sunshine, flowers and a cute bunny, too! I've made a "Happy Easter" card for you today using the following Picket Fence Studios products:  Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter Coordinating Die SetLovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card FrontsBasic Die Cutting Set 1Easter Bop Sequin Plus MixBright and Shiny Day A2 Glossy Card Fronts This card is 5" X 7" in size. The card base is made from white cardstock. Here are the rest of the details!  To make this card, I started with a piece of gingham pattern paper from the Lovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card Fronts for the interior wall of this sweet scene. I die cut the beautiful arch window from white cardstock using the Basic Die Cutting Set 1. This window needed a beautiful outdoor scene so I added some sunshine using a Bright and Shiny Day A2 Glossy Card Front behind the arched window frame. I kept the bottom solid white on the card front and added the "Happy Easter" sentiment.  Next, I worked on the basket, bunny and floral designs from the Joyful Easter stamp set.  I used the Joyful Easter Coordinating Die Set to cut them all out. I stamped all three in white, plus a few more singular flowers to make the bouquet a bit bigger. Everything was colored using the following Copic Sketch Markers: Pinks and Reds: RV09, RV55, RV02, R27 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03 Browns: E59, E57, E55, E53, E51 Yellows: YR27, Yr24, Y19, Y08 Purples: V04, V06 After everything was colored attached together, I attached the basket of florals to the card front and added the bunny to the back of it. I used foam tabs to attach the basket to make it stand out a bit. Lastly, I added a few sequins to accent the design.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Sunny Shaker Card

by Andrea Shell on Feb 11 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun shaker card featuring the Big Piggie Hugs stamp from Picket Fence Studios. This cute piggie and barrel were leftover from last week's card. I colored the images from Big Piggie Hugs with Copics, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and added white highlights. That awesome background is from the Bright and Shiny Day Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts pack, which I trimmed slightly. Using the Basic Die Cutting Set 1 Dies, I created frames from white cardstock and a yellow gingham paper from the Happy Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts pack. I layered the two frames together and backed them with clear acetate. I glued my colored images onto the background and placed some Pick Me sequin mix on top (Does anyone else struggle with how much filler to use for shaker cards? I either put too much or, in this case, not enough). I adhered my layered frames with foam tape and glued the shaker to a panel of green cardstock, which I affixed to a white cardbase. To create my sentiment, I diecut orange cardstock a few times with the alphabet die from the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Dies. After stacking the letters three times for dimension, I glued my sentiment to the acetate. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Happy Friday, fellow crafters and card makers!! Brenda back with you today!! I fell head-over-heels for the sweet Big Piggie Hugs Stamp Set from the January release!! I adore these sweet pigs with their veggies!! I started like I do with most of my cards, by stamping the Big Piggie Hugs images and sentiment onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink and coloring them with Copic markers. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. (Get the stamp & die in a bundle and save 10%!) For the background, I die-cut one of the panels in the Spring Gardening Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Front Pack with the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Cover Plate Dies Set. The white panel was cut with the second largest die in the same set and the largest die was used to cut the orange panel. They were stacked and adhered together, then added to a white cardbase using liquid glue. These Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts make creating a scene sooooo easy and I love the thin matted layers you get with the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Coverplate Dies Set!! The small veggies and the basket were adhered to the background with liquid glue and the piggie and sentiment were popped up with foam tape. I added a little shine to the eyes and nose of the pig with a black gel pen and this card was finished. That's it!! This card came together in a snap, but it looks like I put a lot of time into it!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a fabulous weekend and I'll see you next week with the NEW February release!! It's soooooo good!! Brenda

Lovely Lace and Florals

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 05 2025
Hi friends! As we get closer to Valentine's day, I thought pink lace and springy florals just seemed right to share. This 5" X 7" card is sweet, feminine, and lovely all in one. I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios products: Layers of Embroidery stamp Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter dies Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties To create this card, I stamped the Layers of Embroidery stamp design on pink cardstock using a fuchsia pink ink. I hand cut the bottom layer to accentuate the scallop design. I attached the background to a white card base. I left enough white space at the bottom to stamp "a little birthday note" sentiment in black from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set. I also added a striped pink and white ribbon two scallops up from the bottom.  I stamped the beautiful floral bouquet illustrated by the very talented Kelly Taylor for Picket Fence Studios, in black on white cardstock. Using my Copic Sketch Markers, I colored in the florals in bright, spring colors, making sure to color the lilies like Stargazer lilies or rubrum lilies. The tulips are done in reds and yellows and added some lilac colors, too. I die cut the florals using the Joyful Easter dies and attached the bouquet, positioning it over the ribbon, using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit from the background. Lastly, I added some dainty pearls in pinks and rose from the Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties. You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here.
