A Little Love Note with Ceal Pritchett
Hello Everyone! It's Ceal here on the blog today to share a valentines card using one of the January releases A Little Love Note. Aren't those little mice adorable? This stamp is perfect not only for valentines day but for anniversaries, birthdays or just to say I love you to those we love. To create this card I started with a top folding card base and a panel of watercolor paper. I created a watercolor wash and added some splatter for the background. Next on another piece of watercolor used another piece of watercolor paper I stamped the image...
Swallowtail Beauty Cards with Erica
Hi guys! Erica here on the PFS blog today. I have six cards made with the Swallowtail Beauty Stamp. It's a beauty, no pun! I started out by cutting out 6 panels of water colour paper, these are all 4.24"x5.5" and I used my anti-static tool on them all as I was not only going to stamp up the Swallowtail Beauty stamp, I wanted to heat emboss it with clear embossing powder over the Black Hybrid ink as well. Even with the help of my MISTI the imprint wasn't very good, as the water colour paper is so textured. I...

Flowers for Picking Judy Rozema
Today I am sharing a one of the new stamp sets from the January Creativation Release. What a fabulous release! I hope you have had a chance to check it out. For this card I used the adorable FLOWERS FOR PICKING. Now, if you look through my work, you won't see a lot of flower images. I love them, I just don't usually stamp with them for some reason. But these are so cute and fun to color. I made a monochrome card using a favorite color family, and colored the flowers with my alcohol markers. Then I cut them...
Stenciled Valentine's day card with Michelle Lupton
Hello - Michelle here today! One of my favourite items from the January release from Picket Fence Studios is the "Flowers in a Heart Stencil", and I think it is very useful for Valentine's Day cards. I blended some pale pink and pale purple Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white cardstock. (My Life Changing Blender Brush still had some yellow ink on it from another card, so the pink came out as a yellowish pink.) I then added the stencil and blended the pink and purple ink at the opposite ends of the cardstock as the first application,...

Mindy Eggen scroll stencil Stencils
Welcome everyone! Mindy Eggen here with you today and if you follow me you know I love my stencils and Glitz Glitter Gel. Today's card features them both! This is really a quick card to put together. I'm going to be using the new Scroll Stencil from Picket Fence Studios. This is such a great design! I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray and temporarily adhered to Black cardstock. I'm applying Wild Lilac, Turquoise Sea and Grass Green Glitz Glitter Gel over my stencil. How gorgeous are these colors together?! After I remove the stencil, I'll rinse...
