Lovely Lace and Florals

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 05 2025
Hi friends! As we get closer to Valentine's day, I thought pink lace and springy florals just seemed right to share. This 5" X 7" card is sweet, feminine, and lovely all in one. I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios products: Layers of Embroidery stamp Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter dies Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties To create this card, I stamped the Layers of Embroidery stamp design on pink cardstock using a fuchsia pink ink. I hand cut the bottom layer to accentuate the scallop design. I attached the background to a white card base. I left enough white space at the bottom to stamp "a little birthday note" sentiment in black from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp set. I also added a striped pink and white ribbon two scallops up from the bottom.  I stamped the beautiful floral bouquet illustrated by the very talented Kelly Taylor for Picket Fence Studios, in black on white cardstock. Using my Copic Sketch Markers, I colored in the florals in bright, spring colors, making sure to color the lilies like Stargazer lilies or rubrum lilies. The tulips are done in reds and yellows and added some lilac colors, too. I die cut the florals using the Joyful Easter dies and attached the bouquet, positioning it over the ribbon, using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit from the background. Lastly, I added some dainty pearls in pinks and rose from the Sequin Mix Plus - Blissful Beauties. You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Hot Air Ballon Shaker

by Andrea Shell on Nov 19 2024
Hi there! It’s Andrea with you to share a colorful card featuring new goodies from Picket Fence Studios! Isn’t that hot air balloon fun?! I created it with the new Hot Air Balloon Dies, which coordinate perfectly with the new A2 Cloud Peek A Boo Dies that I used for my shaker frame. I started by diecutting white cardstock with the Hot Air Balloon Dies. I placed each piece onto the 4x4 Paper Inking Palette and colored them with dye inks that I applied with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I assembled the balloon with liquid adhesive and added highlights with a white gel pen. That awesome background is from the Adventures in Hot Air Ballooning Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. To frame the panel, I diecut white cardstock with the A2 Cloud Peek A Boo Dies. I blended the diecut with pink ink and added splatters of water. I backed the cloud diecut with clear acetate and a layer of foam tape and used the new Carnival Day sequin mix for my shaker. For my sentiment I combined the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations stamp with the Hot Air Balloons Sighting set. I heat-embossed “hello” from the Swanky Sentiments set in gold onto white cardstock and diecut it with the coordinating dies. I white heat-embossed the supporting sentiment from the Hot Air Balloons Sighting set onto pink cardstock and trimmed it down. I popped up the hot air balloon and sentiments with foam adhesive and finished with a few pearls from the Carnival Day mix. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Have a Great Day - Beach Scene

by Brenda Noelke on Apr 23 2024
Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here with a colorful card featuring the Dear Summer Loving Stamp Set from the newest release!! I know I would be having a great day if I was frolicking in the ocean like this sweet girl!! I started by stamping the images from the Dear Summer Loving Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. For the background, I added Sea Glass - Blue Paper Glaze Glass to a panel of Ocean Breeze Blue Card Stock using the Ocean Waves Stencil. Once dry, I trimmed it down and adhered it to an A2 panel of cardstock from the Beach Paradise Fabulous Glossy A2 Card Front Set. The adorable girl was adhered to the background with liquid glue, while the die-cut fish were popped up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Swanky Sentiments: Salutations Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with burnt orange ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. Sequins from the Tropical Breeze Sequin Mix adds a bit of shine draws your eye to the sentiment, That'll do it for me today!! Thanks so much for spending a bit of your Tuesday with me!! Brenda
