Leaf Mandala Madness with Erica

Hi guys! It's Erica back on the PFS Blog today, with three cards all using the Leaf Mandala stamp from the August release.  The first two cards are done with Rose Gold embossing powder, one clean and simple and the other rich and sparkly.  On the clean and simple one I coloured in the leaves with Zig Clean Color markers, in autumnal colours to complement the colour of the embossing powder.  This one was finished off with a stamp set from Levels Of Friendships in three different Distress Oxide inks to create a gradient look. It's Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey...

Creating 4x4 Repeating Backgrounds with Judy Rozema

Hello Everyone! Happy Monday!Today I am sharing creations made with 4x4 repeating background stamps. These stamps are fabulous, not only for their images, but because you can make them as large or as small as you would like. They repeat on all four sides, making them easy to line up to create larger backgrounds. First up is Moths from the August release. With this card, I stamped twice (one on top of each other) using Versamark ink. The MISTI makes lining things up so easy! I embossed with Clear Embossing Powder to make those little moths shine. I found some...

August Release with Michelle

Hello! It's Michelle here today, and it's release day for Picket Fence Studios! I have an eclectic bunch of cards for you today, using a variety of stamps and stencils from the August release. This first card is a simple, one layer card - I used an older circle stencil to create a spotlight in the centre of the card to highlight the beautiful songbird and the sentiment. My next card is one I will share with a friend who is a breast cancer survivor. I white embossed the Hope Ribbons stamp multiple times onto some pick cardstock (lining up...

Lovely Summer Card with Larisa

Hello!  Larisa here and today I have a lovely summer card to share with you.  As school is starting back and summer is winding down, I thought it would be fitting to create a card using this Beautiful Girl Kendyll Stamp and Lovely Word Die.   To create my card, I started with some patterned papers in my stash.  The background paper is a white ship-lap pattern.  I trimmed that to fit the front of my card base.  Then I die cut a stitched square from blue striped paper and mounted that on a piece of grey card stock.  I adhered...

With All of our Love with Susie Moore

Happy Monday! Do you have a few of the smaller Picket Fence Studios Blender Brushes and you wondered if you would ever use them? Well my friends, they are FABULOUS to use with detailed stencils like the Shading Flower stencil. I only used two ink colors, but managed to get some pretty shadows by using a heavier hand on parts of the image.   I added the sentiment vertically from the The Bride's Bouquet stamp set. It has such lovely sentiments and I had a hard time deciding which one to use! To finish my card I added some sequins...
