Foiled Watercolor

Welcome and a happy Friday to you!   One of the first techniques I learned as a new stamper was to add ink on a craft sheet and spritz with water, then swish cardstock through the watery ink.  It's still one of my favorite ways to create interesting backgrounds.  I created several backgrounds with the technique and let them dry.  After selecting a background I foiled and die cut it with this Two-Part Foiling and Cutting Die set.  I was thrilled with the result!  I am a huge fan of white and black with a bit of color so I simply...

Sassy BFF Maggie Mae cards with Erica

Hi guys!  Welcome back to the Picket Fence Studios Blog, it’s Erica here with a couple of very CAS cards. These are not my forte at all, but I am working on it and they are coming *slightly* easier these days. I still feel like they are a bit naked and need something but basically sit on my hands to stop myself from adding more stuff to them. It’s weird but it works, lol! Swallowtail beauty with Michelle Lupton

Hello! Michelle here today to share a card I made using products from the January release at Picket Fence Studios. I stamped the Swallowtail Beauty stamp in Picket Fence Studios black hybrid ink onto some watercolour cardstock. I added clear embossing powder and heat set it. I then watercoloured the image with blue on the butterfly and pink around the edges. I added a gold mat around the panel, and gold embossed a sentiment from "A Bride's Bouquet" onto black cardstock with its own gold mat. Thanks for visiting :)

Be Creative!

Welcome back everyone! It's Mindy Eggen here with you today! I love when a stamp set comes along that has images of products I play with. For instance, the I Work for Watercolor stamp set from Picket Fence Studios. This has a ton of crafting images and sentiments on it. While I do not consider myself that good at watercoloring, I am certainly fascinated by it and continue to experiment with it. I stamped the image of the watercolor set in Black ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out with my Spellbinders...
