Hello, everyone! I hope you had a great week and now it's time to celebrate Friday! I think Alice is delighted that it's Friday and she has started celebrating by listening to her favorite mix! I created an interesting background with the Geo Squares Stencil and LC Blender Brushes. I colored Alice then I used her Coordinating Die to cut her out. Next, I stamped a flower and leaves from Beautiful Girl Flowers and die cut them with Coordinating Dies. I really like PFS Coordinating dies because they save me so much time when creating cards AND they are sold already separated, no...

Hey Y'all! It's Ceal and today I am sharing some slimline cards that uses the Slim Line Die Cutting System along with the Gel Press. Can you believe that it is December already? I have to get moving on my Christmas cards so I made 4 using this technique that I learned from Lydia. To create these cards, I cut out some of the snowflakes from the Winter Snowflakes die set, the Lydia snowflake die and the LaWanda snowflake dies out of copy paper. I places some acrylic paint on the Gel Press and brayered over it. Next I placed...

It's sort of like Gel Printing but with paper, stencils and Paper Glaze... I'll explain it, or you could hop on over to the Picket Fence Studios YouTube channel and have a look when the video goes up instead. I created a video for this blog post as well, so you can actually see the technique in action. You start out by making sure you have plenty of card stock on hand, as...
It's Snowing!
Today I am sharing a very special snowflake - Lydia! Can you all guess who that is named after? It's a beautiful large die, and I had a ton of fun creating with it. The Snowflake Lydia Die is about 4 inches square and perfect to fill up an A2 sized card. For my first card, I chose a Gel Press print that I have had for a long time that I wasn't happy with. It just was, in my opinion, kind of ugly. But as my gel printing mentor, LYDIA, has told me, never throw them away, because you...
