Summer Fireflies with Ceal Pritchett

hello everyone!  Since it's officially summer now the  fireflies or lightening bugs as I call them are out at night and I love watching them and even more so I love to watch my dog try to catch them.  To create my card I started with a pale aqua card base, and a white panel. I used  the Broken Fence Stencil and the Life Changing Blender Brushes to create the background. I stamped the Jar from the Fireflies on a Warm Night set on Brstol card stock and colored it with Daniel Smith Watercolors and cut it out with the...

Fireburst Stencil in action with Erica

Hey guys! It's Erica, aka The Stencil Addict, back on the blog today! Today it's all about the Fireburst Stencil.  This first card you might have seen already, but just in case you haven't, I have included step-by-step instructions here: Step 1: Make COLOURFUL background. You will love the new mixes -- different sizes and shapes, all in a beautiful easy-to-see packaging! I stamped with VersaMark ink, and then embossed with Bullfrog EP. I colored with Copic markers, making one of the limes stand out with brighter colors, and Stickles around...

Red roses

I have a bold floral card to share today, using stamps from the May release. I white embossed the image from "A Rose" in the top left and bottom right of a piece of Canson watercolour paper. I painted the image using Distress Oxide inks in a variety of blue, pink and red colours. I added a sentiment from the Bird of Paradise Flowers stamp set white embossed onto a scrap of black cardstock. I finished with some sequins from the Gin and Tonic sequin mix.   Did you know? Thanks for visiting :)
