Watercolour Tulips

Hello - it's Michelle here today, and I have a card to share today using the Early Tulip Bouquet stamp set.   I started by ink smooshing some Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of watercolour paper. I then stamped the main image from Early Tulip Bouquet in Picket Fence Studios Black hybrid ink, and coloured the image using Copic markers in colours to match the Distress Oxide inks.  I then stamped the Hello from Fancy Sentiments, but I masked off part of the flourishes on the word so that it would fit a bit better on the card. Have...

Is it Halloween Yet? with Larisa

Hello!  Larisa here and I'm so excited to be sharing a couple of Halloween cards with you guys.  I don't know about you, but Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I always get so excited when companies release their Halloween goodies!   For my first card, I used the New Autumn Harvest Collage Stamp. I stamped it just one time in Black Hybrid Ink.  Then I die cut a black rectangular frame and and created a shaker element by adding some acetate and a handful of Black Magic Sequin Mix.  After my shaker element was created.  I stamped my image...

After The Storm Two Ways with Erica

Hi guys!  It’s Erica back on the Picket Fence Blog today, with a couple of cards using the brand new After The Storm stamp set.   Both cards are coloured with Copics and stamped up with the Black Hybrid ink. Because the After The Storm stamps are brand new, I used a Mini MISTI to make sure I got good stamp outlines.  I wanted to create really dramatic and dark clouds, but not make them all grey or black. On a scrap piece of paper I scribbled all the grey copics I planned on using, then used some blues over...

A Burger and a Shake

This stamp set is way cool. It's called Dad's Day, but I can think of so many reasons to use it. Today I'm sticking with the Father's Day theme that the set was created for. I was excited to stamp it on kraft card stock and add some copic coloring. It had been awhile since I colored on the kraft and I am always amazed at how cool it looks.  I used the Intense Black ink to stamp the sentiment along the side of the burger and finished off with a strip of yellow paper.    While I had the...

Quick WaterColor Trees And Bushes Sunset Card with Erica

Hi guys!  It's Erica back on the PFS blog today. Sadly my May Release stamps are still on vacation ie somewhere in the postal system. So I thought, I'd stop in with a card I made with an older, but fabulous, new-to-me stamp: Watercolor Trees and Bushes.  I haven't used this one yet, and now I can't see why not??? It's so lovely, and you can do so many techniques with it too. I decided to indulge my current obsession, which is doing Copic coloured backgrounds.  With the chisel end of the Copic, I drew fat lines of all these...
