Stenciled Valentine's day card with Michelle Lupton

Hello - Michelle here today! One of my favourite items from the January release from Picket Fence Studios is the "Flowers in a Heart Stencil", and I think it is very useful for Valentine's Day cards.  I blended some pale pink and pale purple Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white cardstock. (My Life Changing Blender Brush still had some yellow ink on it from another card, so the pink came out as a yellowish pink.) I then added the stencil and blended the pink and purple ink at the opposite ends of the cardstock as the first application,...

Eiko Girl with Karen Reategui

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this floral card with a partial die cutting. I’m featuring the Eiko Girl Stamp and die, Flowers for Picking Stamp and dies, Glass Window Rainbow Die and for my sentiments I used A Pain In My Ass Stamp. Let’s create the background! I placed the Glass Window Rainbow Die on top of a white cardstock and make a partial die cutting. I added a piece of glitter paper at the back of this panel and then I adhered a white card base using glue. Next, I stamped the Eiko...

Swallowtail Beauty

Hello Everyone  It's Ceal, here to share a couple cards using the Swallowtail Beauty with you today. I was supposed to post on Wednesday and I still had brain fog from Creativation and totally forgot.  The January release was fabulous and huge and this stamp is one of my favorites because I love butterflies. I shared the second card on release day on my blog but wanted to share it here along with the top one I created after I got back home.  For the first card I used Fadeout ink for no line watercoloring and the new Atelier inks...

Foiled Watercolor

Welcome and a happy Friday to you!   One of the first techniques I learned as a new stamper was to add ink on a craft sheet and spritz with water, then swish cardstock through the watery ink.  It's still one of my favorite ways to create interesting backgrounds.  I created several backgrounds with the technique and let them dry.  After selecting a background I foiled and die cut it with this Two-Part Foiling and Cutting Die set.  I was thrilled with the result!  I am a huge fan of white and black with a bit of color so I simply...

Swallowtail beauty with Michelle Lupton

Hello! Michelle here today to share a card I made using products from the January release at Picket Fence Studios. I stamped the Swallowtail Beauty stamp in Picket Fence Studios black hybrid ink onto some watercolour cardstock. I added clear embossing powder and heat set it. I then watercoloured the image with blue on the butterfly and pink around the edges. I added a gold mat around the panel, and gold embossed a sentiment from "A Bride's Bouquet" onto black cardstock with its own gold mat. Thanks for visiting :)
