I remember in the movie, Hope Floats, the young girl character, Bernice Pruitt says, "My cup runneth over." If I recall correctly, her grandma would often use this phrase from Psalm 23:5. It means that someone is so blessed or filled with good things that they have more than enough. I love that phrase. When I made this card, I thought about that phrase and just wanted to show that feeling in my design. It's Bobbi Lemanski here with a teacup full of goodness! I'm using the following Picket Fence Studios Whimsical Wonderland release products:

Hollyhocks in Bloom stamps and coordinating dies

Mushrooms Aplenty stamps

Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies

Dainty Cup die

Layering Flora: Hardy Fern die

This 5" X 7" card is made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest cardstock for the card base and front panel.

To make this card, I started by die cutting the teacup top layer from an aqua cardstock and the shadow layer from white cardstock. I added a few highlight marks on the top layer using my white Gelly Roll pen.

To fill the teacup, I stamped, colored and die cut the flowers using the Hollyhocks in Bloom stamps and coordinating dies. I did the same using the Mushrooms Aplenty stamps. I fussy cut the mushrooms since I did not have the dies. They were very quick to cut out. For both the flowers and mushrooms, I used Copic Sketch markers in R29, R27, R17, R14, R22, and R20. I also used YG67, YG17 and YG03 for the leaves as well as E43, E42, W3 and W1 for the mushroom stems and some shadowing. Additional greenery was added to the teacup arrangement using the Layering Flora: Hardy Fern die. I cut the leaves from a green cardstock and filled in the arrangement with the fronds.

With the teacup complete, I focused on the background. I splattered the 5" X 7" card front with black watercolor paint. I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints and a fan brush to create the splatters. I added a solid aqua scalloped arch die and an arch window pane die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. I attached the teacup in front of the layered arched die cuts using foam tabs to make it stand out a bit. Lastly, I added the "thank you" sentiment from the Hollyhocks in Bloom stamp set. This "cup has runneth over" with beautiful blooms and 'shrooms!
