Hello! It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara. Today, I want to share a card with you that uses several products, and reveals my autumn weakness. I'm a sucker for pumpkin treats, pumpkin scents, pumpkin decor - EVERYTHING needs to be pumpkin when it comes to fall! So, you can imagine how thrilled I was when I got my hands on the new All the Gourds Seamless Stamp.
To begin today's card, I stamped the All the Gourds Seamless Stamp in clear embossing ink, onto a kraft card stock, and then embossed it with a copper embossing powder. Then, I moved my card stock over, and lined up the edge, to stamp the image again - creating a panel filled with the image. I colored in the image with Prismacolor Pencils.
After the image was colored, I trimmed the panel slightly, and then added a small strip of copper card stock to both the top and bottom edges. I used the Happy Fall Y'all Word Topper Die, and die cut it twice from a golden yellow card stock. I stacked the two die cuts using liquid glue.
To cut the "Pumpkin Everything" I used the new Chandelier Slim Line Die Cutting System Insert. I wrote the phrase out on some scrap paper, so that I could pick out the letters I needed. I found that to cut the letters it worked really well to line the dies up along the edge of some painter's tape. Then I could place the dies on my black card stock, have them stay in place during the cutting, and they could be moved to cut again. I die cut the taped dies three times - which did give me an extra set, just in case. Then, I used my scrap paper to figure out where the center of the phrase was, and began adhering the letters down on my word topper die cut.
Once the letters were attached, I adhered the word topper to the card front panel. Then, I added the panel to a white card base, made from heavyweight card stock.
I hope you enjoyed today's card. For the full product list, of everything used on these cards, click here. Find more cards using products from the July Release over on my blog. Have a fantastic Tuesday!
