Before we jump into today's project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don't worry, these links won't cost you a dime – they're just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let's dive into today's creative journey together!
Hi, friends! Justin here, and today I am really excited to be sharing with you an adorably sweet and easy to put together card featuring the new Freckle Friends: Astonishing Alice stamp set! This card fully takes advantage of the new Alice In Wonderland A2 Fabulously Glossy Card Fronts to create the perfect backdrop!
Here is a list of the Picket Fence Studios products used to create this card:
Freckle Friends: Astonishing Alice Stamp Set & Coordinating DIes
Alice in Wonderland Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts
Sequin Mix Plus- Wonderland Games
Beyond Basics: Rectangles and Cover Plate Die Set
Let's travel to Wonderland and see how this card came together!
First, I stamped out the Alice and table image from Freckle Friends: Astonishing Alice in alcohol marker safe ink. I colored the images up with my Copic Markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I set them aside for later.
Next, I took the Beyond Basics: Rectangles and Cover Plate Dies and cut out a piece of blue cardstock (largest rectangle die), red cardstock (2nd largest rectangle die) and the red, white and blue mushroom pattern from the Alice in Wonderland Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts (3rd largest rectangle die). I adhered the rectangles on top of one another from largest to smallest.
Using light blue cardstock, I stamped out the sentiment "we are all a little mad, here!" in blue ink, trimmed the panel down to a rectangle size, and then cut a slightly larger rectangle from red cardstock to adhere behind the sentiment rectangle to frame it.
With a combination of liquid and foam adhesive, I adhered my images and sentiment to my card front. I adhered the entire card front unit to an A2-size card base, and finished off my card by adhering a few sequins from the Wonderland Games Sequin Mix Plus! My Wonderland Card was completed!
