Hi, friends! It's Andrea back with you to share a card that features a beautiful, pink butterfly left over from this card. Waste not, want not, as they say! I say, work smarter, not harder (although I don't always adhere to that)! The butterfly was created with the Layering Fauna Butterfly Dies. I describe how I did that in the post linked above. I backed the outline with vellum and inlaid a black body cut with the dies. For my background I blended some of the same pink inks used on the butterfly through the Polka Dot Scarf 6x8 Stencil....

Hello there! It's Andrea back with you, and today I'm sharing an unexpected way to use the new Layering Fauna Butterfly Dies. When I first saw these dies, I thought of waterlilies and couldn't get that image out of my mind. I diecut the butterfly dies separately from pale pink cardstock: one solid butterfly and one with the lily shape. I taped the negative and postive pieces together on the back of the second butterfly. I placed the diecuts onto the 5"x6" Paper Inking Palette and, using the Bright Rainbow Pint-sized Paper Pouncers, applied pink dye ink to the diecuts. Once...

Hi there! It's Andrea here sharing my first project for Picket Fence Studios featuring products from their January release. This release has so many wonderful products for creating birthday cards, which I'm sure we as cardmakers need alot of! Those adorable cupcakes are from the Wreath Building Cupcakes for You stamp set.
