Hi there! It's Andrea here to share an elegant card featuring some new products from Picket Fence Studios.

I have a collection of tea cups - including a blue and white one! - so I was drawn to the new Dainty Cup Dies! Isn't this sweet cup pretty?!

I started by coloring white cardstock with Liquid Forget-me-nots Paper Splatter. You can't tell in the photos, but the paper splatter has a lovely shimmer to it. While that was drying, I diecut a separate panel of white cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. After tracing the white cup onto the colored panel, I cut out the blue cup with my scissors and then glued the white diecut on top. I also diecut metallic cardstock with the Dainty Cup Dies. I trimmed away parts of the metallic diecut and adhered them to my assembled tea cup.

I love creating my own patterned papers with stencils! For the blue paper, I applied Snowdrop White Paper Glaze through the A Whole Lot of Polka Dots 6x8 Stencil (retired). I created the yellow paper by blending yellow ink through the Indian Summer 6x8 Stencil. After removing the stencil, I added Opaque Gold Paper Splatter to the yellow panel. I allowed both papers to dry.

I trimmed down the blue paper and adhered it to a square card. I diecut the yellow paper with the Beyond Basics: A2 Scallops, Arches and Window Cover Plate Dies. Using the same die set, I cut a scalloped panel from white cardstock and a border from metallic cardstock. I glued the yellow arch and metallic outline onto the white scallop and trimmed it down. After wrapping blue ribbon around the top of the scallop, I attached the piece to my card with foam tape.

I attached the tea cup to my card with foam squares and added some foliage and flowers created with the Layering Flora: Heart of Vines Dies. For the centers of the flowers, I used amber gems from the In Wonderland Gem Mix. I stamped a sentiment from the Hollyhocks in Blooms stamp, diecut it with the coordinating dies, and popped it up with thin foam squares.
