I Appreciate You - Hollyhocks in Bloom

Hello, friends and happy Sunday!! Brenda here with a card featuring the stunning Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set from yesterday's Whimsical Wonderland release!! There's also a two-day Instagram hop full of inspiration from the creative team and special guests that started yesterday, so be sure to check that out as well!! Day 2 of the hop starts at 4PM CST!! Let's get to my card, shall we? I started by stamping the floral and butterfly images from the Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. Purchase the Hollyhocks in Bloom Bundle and save 10%!! For the background, I die-cut the plaid die from the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle & Cover Plate Die Set from white cardstock. I die-cut another panel of white cardstock with the smallest rectangle die in the same set, along with a bright pink panel with the largest rectangle die. All the layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. The hollyhocks were also adhered with liquid glue along the right side. The sentiments are also from the Hollyhocks in Bloom Stamp Set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiments and butterflies were popped up with foam adhesive and this card was finished. I can't wait to color these hollyhocks with other mediums!! They're so much fun to color!! Happy Easter - Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures

Happy Friday, fellow card makers!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! Brenda here with a sweet Easter card featuring the adorable Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures Stamps & Coordinating Dies, along with a few other goodies from the January release!! I began by stamping the images from the Peach & Piper: Easter Adventures Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. (Save 10% when you purchase the stamps & dies together here.) I used a black gel pen to darken the eyes and noses of the critters. Next, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a panel of white cardstock using Life Changing Blender Brushes. I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto the bottom of the panel using the grass stencil in the Scene Building A2 Stencil Set: Layers of Adventure. The clouds, from the same stencil set, were added to the sky using Incandescent Paper Glaze. The panel was die-cut with the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Die Set. It was adhered with liquid glue to a pink panel of cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the same die set. The darling Peach & Piper die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue. For the sentiment, I spread a thin layer of the lightest shade of pink glaze in the Pink Ombre Haze Paper Glaze Sampler onto a panel of white cardstock. Once it was dry, I die-cut it, along with two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, using the Happy Easter Word Die. The layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue, then added to the bottom of the panel. Bunny shaped embellishments from the Bunny Bop Sequin Mix Plus Mix and small iridescent sequins from the Blissful Beauties Sequin Mix Plus Mix were the perfect finishing touch. HiHeyHello - Longneck Family Kit

Hey crafty friends! Sammi here to share a card made with the AMAZING Longneck Family kit! This kit is FULL of so many goodies to play with! There are stamps, dies, glazes, sequins, a stencil, paper, twine and more! Today I am sharing a card made with the Hi Hey Hello, Giraffe stamp and the Long Neck Family kit Paper Glaze. This glaze is amazing! Here is how I made this card! Fist I stamped the giraffe with the PFS Black Hybrid Ink Pad and colored him with Copic markers. I then fussy cut out him out and then edged the edges with brown distress inks. I really love the vintage piece of paper that comes with the kit. It is bigger than a A2 sized card, so I tore it down to size and then edged it with Distress inks to make it look aged. I then took the stencil and stenciled the piece with the Long Neck Family kit Paper Glaze and let it dry. After it was dry, I then curled in the edges in various spots to make it look more aged and added some more Distress ink. In the kit are many colors of cardstock. I chose to use the darker hunter green color and I cut a piece down to a A2 size. In the kit is a small little sander. I love it! I took the sander and sanded the edges of the green piece of cardstock and then added some Distress ink to make it looked aged. I then cut a sentiment piece and repeated the same process. I then embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I then glued the stenciled piece of paper onto the green card panel, then I glued the sentiment onto the card panel. I then added the giraffe with some foam tape and then glued the card panel onto a A2 card base. To finish the look, I added some sequins that come with the kit. Seashore Slimline Card

CARD RECIPE: Slim Line Scene Building: Seashore Cover Plate Die Summer Beach Friends Dear Stamp Summer Beach Friends Dear Coordinating Die Scene Building: Sand Stamp I used die-cutting on white card stock with the Seashire slimline cover die, then added color with paper pouncers. A sand stamp complemented the seaside theme, and I stamped the sentiment with versa mark ink and heat embossed it with white powder. I heat set the sentiment for a long-lasting finish. Plant Happy Thoughts

Hello, Eugy here! I have always had a love for indoor plants. They bring a fresh, vibrant energy to any room and are a great way to reconnect with nature. However, despite my best efforts, I seem to struggle to keep them alive for very long, unlike the ones on the cards 😂. Today I would like to share this card with you. It's very easy to make! First, I blended light inks using the Life Changing Blending Brushes. Then I chose a stamp from the Plant Happy Thoughts set and applied various colored inks to it. Before stamping, I blended them with the new Paper Pouncers. To finish up my card, I used my absolute favorite sentiment from this set. Well, that's it, just a couple of simple steps and the card is ready! Under the Sea Shaker Card

Hello Crafty Friends, Do you like shaker cards? I really love all types of shaker cards. I made another type of shaker card featuring the Evan More of a Fishy Lot Stamp and coordinating die. CARD RECIPE: Even More of a Fishy Lot Stamp Set Even More of a Fishy Lot Coordinating Die Sun with Rays 6×8 Stencil School of Fish Stamp A2 Full Front Shaker Die Sea of Dolphins Sequin Mix Where Mermaids Live Stamp I used the Distress Oxide inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire ) for the color blending on the background. After coloring, the school of Fish stamp was stamped, using the Sun with Rays stencil with white pigment ink. Finished spray water on the colored surface. For the sentiment, I used the Where Mermaids Live Stamp set, white heat embossed it. I used the A2 Full Front Shaker die to cut the shaker sheet and fill the Sea of Dolphins Sequin Mix in the shaker. Christmas card by Laura

Hello everyone!! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this Christmas card that I hope will inspire you! To start I used the "Animal Crackers Christmas Wishes" Stamps set that I stamped with "Black Hybrid ink pad" which is perfect for this type of stamps! Then I painted all the images with alcohol markers and then with a white marker I glossed it to make it stand out. Then i cut out the images using the "Animal Crackers Christmas Wishes" coordinating dies but you can carefully cut them out with scissors if you prefer. Next I prepared the background: for this I used a white cardboard that I painted with distress oxide inks and a green cardboard with which I used the "A2 Evergreen on a Hill Cover Plate Die" to which I then added the snow with the "Paper Glaze Luxe - Arctic Fox". For the sentiment I used the word "Greeting" that comes with the "A2 Evergreen on a Hill Cover Plate Die" that I cut out of blue metallic cardstock. Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was! Colorful Hummingbird's Song Slimline Card

Hello! I had a wonderful trip to Korea last few weeks. I almost forgot to share this colorful Hummingbird's Song slimline card to you. I stamped the hummingbirds images with 6 different colors. ( Stamp set- A Hummingbird's Song- New release of June) I inked a red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple color on the hummingbird stamp, after blending the color and color boundaries, stamp on the white card stock and die cut the image. (I used Inkon3 mini cube inks) Place the birds of each color underneath, place the birds blended in different colors on top of them, and paste them on the cards. Hello There-Current of Fish

Hello Friends, Today I have a card to share with you using the Current of Fish Stencil and Gold Rose Glaze. I colored three different blue colors of water coloring on the watercolor paper first, and dry it completely. This current of fish stencil is 6 x 6 size, taped the stencil from behind of water-colored paper. Using a mixed media spatula, I applied a paper Glaze Gold Rose. I removed the stencil, cleaned it and the spatula and set the panel aside to dry. I guess it might be not easy to color with water color for the beginner. but it is very easy to do stencil. I want to have some dimension to the word die-cut,I would have die cut the hello there die a third on white card stock and added it on top. Butterfly with a girl-featuring Slim Line Hopes and Dream Butterfly

Hello, crafty friends, Heejung here with you to share a card using the Slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly die and Filled to the Brim Stamp set. I inked up the background using Slim Line Hexagon Randomness Stencil and add distress oxide ink in Tumbled Glass Ink using Life Changing Blender Brushes. I die-cut the Slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly from black card stock and white card stock. I glued the black butterfly frame on the background panel. And I inked up the butterfly's wings with some distress oxide inks in shades carved Pumpkin and twisted Squeezed Lemon using Life Changing Blender Brush on white card stock, then die-cut the Slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly from blended color paper. It isn't easy to put the die-cut pieces of butterfly. I added an adorable girl drinking tea (from Filled to the Brim stamp set )on center of the butterfly. I finished up with Kaleidoscope Butterflies and fly with me sequins. I love this slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly die and Filled to the Brim stamp set. Thank you for stopping by! A Special Day!

Hello everyone , I am very happy and excited to be here with you all, my name is Claudia and I live in Italy, I love to color and I love to create scenes where the characters are the protagonists of the stories. I hope my cards bring you joy and inspire you! For my first card I chose this stamp Somebunny Loves You I love these cute little bears and bunnies! I prepared the scene with the masking technique and stamped it on craft paper with Black Hybrid Ink Pad I completed the scene with this wonderful tree , taken from the set Listen For Joy For coloring I used colored pencils, the effect I really like, I think is one of my favorite coloring techniques!
