The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I unapologetically love Christmas!  Lucky for me Picket Fence Studios July Release features several new Christmas items.  For the first two cards, I used the beautiful Brocade Stencil which is not really a Christmas stencil but paired with Christmas colors and a Christmas sentiment it's Christmasy!  The sentiment is included in the wonderful Believe in the Magic set. I don't have a lot of variety in my watercolor powder colors so I decided to change the look of my powders a bit by first brushing Distress Ink through the Brocade Stencil with my Life Changing Blender Brushes.  (also sold in a discount Bundle) Next,...

Is it Halloween Yet? with Larisa

Hello!  Larisa here and I'm so excited to be sharing a couple of Halloween cards with you guys.  I don't know about you, but Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I always get so excited when companies release their Halloween goodies!   For my first card, I used the New Autumn Harvest Collage Stamp. I stamped it just one time in Black Hybrid Ink.  Then I die cut a black rectangular frame and and created a shaker element by adding some acetate and a handful of Black Magic Sequin Mix.  After my shaker element was created.  I stamped my image...

Christmas Shaker Card with Karen Reategui

Hello my crafty friends! Today I’m sharing this Christmas shaker card over Picket Fence Studios Blog. Fancy Kaleidoscope Stencil Cards with Erica

Hi everyone! It's Erica back on the PFS blog. Today I have LOTS of cards, using the brand new Fancy Kaleidoscope stencil from Picket Fence Studios's June release, to share with you. I do love a good stencil, and it's possibly I went a tad overboard here but it just took off. I did ink blending, water colouring, ink smooshing and all sorts went on. Let's get to it, shall we? First of I sprayed the Fancy Kaleidoscope stencil with Pixie Spray and stuck it down on a big square of water colour paper. Then I grabbed my palette with...
