I actually find it easier to have a few ready on hand to send out, then at least I am not struggling to do it when the need arises. For sympathy cards, I often keep my colours muted, or at last keep the card really simple. I never feel it's the time for a lot of clutter or "noise" on a card. I'm continuing on with my series of Zodiac Girl Cards - this month, the new stamp and matching die is Capricorn Girl. I coloured her with Copic markers and popped her onto a grey and purple stenciled background. I decided she needed a little pizazz, so I added some of the new Silver Bells Paper Glitz to her horns, her eyelids and her earrings. I also mixed some with water and splattered it in the background. For my first card, I paired the NEW Lots of Christmas Cheer Stamp Set with the NEW Slim Line Our Town Cover Plate Die.
