Don't worry, these links won't cost you a dime – they're just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let's dive into today's creative journey together!
Hello, friends! Today, I am sharing my last project using the December 2024 release, and this card just might be my favorite! For this card, I am featuring the You Hold My Heart In Your Paw Stamp Set, the Dogs/Cats Know Good People Stamp Set, and the Rectangular Seamless Stamp: Feed Me Set! These stamps come together perfectly to create this sweet card!
Let's get into the details for how this card came together!
Below is a list of Picket Fence Studios Products used to create this card:
First, I stamped out the dog image from the You Hold My Heart In Your Paw stamp set in black ink and colored the image up with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the image out and set it aside.
Next, I grabbed an A2-piece of orange cardstock and distressed the edges with Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink. I then put the Rectangular Seamless Stamp: Feed Me Set in my MISTI, and repeatedly stamped out the pattern in Crackling Campfire Distress Ink. I set the panel aside.
I then cut both a piece of kraft cardstock and a piece of light orange cardstock into 3.75" x 5". For the kraft cardstock, I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Using the same Vintage Photo Distress Ink, I stamped out the small paw print with a heart stamp multiple times on the panel. When done, I splattered the panel with Opaque Copper Paper Splatter Watercolor and let it dry.
For my sentiment, I wanted to customize the "my   was right about you" stamp from the Dog/Cats Know Good People set, and customize it by inserting the "dog" stamp in the blank space the sentiment provides. I stamped out the sentiments in watermark ink on brown paper, and then heat embossed the sentiments with white powder. I fussy cut the sentiment out and set it aside.
For assembly of my card, I adhered my orange Feed Me background onto an A2-size card base. I then took the light orange 3.75" x 5" panel and adhered it slightly offset behind my paw print panel of the same size. I adhered this unit to my card. I then adhered my dog image and trimmed off the excess of the image that hung off the left portion of my card. Using foam tape, I adhered my sentiment to my project. I finished off the card by adhering a few of the embellishments from the Pick Me Sequin Mix. My card was complete!
