Hello everyone! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this Halloween card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I used the "A Magical Lot Stamps” which I stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad” and then painted with alcohol markers. Then to give the stamps more relief, I used the white Gelly Roll in the areas where I wanted to give shine and the black Micron Pigma in the areas where I wanted to give more depth.
Below I used the “A Magical Lot Coordinating dies” to cut them out, but you can also carefully cut them out with scissors.
For the background I used the “A2 Ghost House Cover Plate Die” that I cut in black cardboard and then I prepared a sunset with distress oxide inks in very typical Halloween colors.
And for the sentiment I used a phrase from the “A Magical Lot Stamps” that i stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad”.
Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.
A huge kiss and until next time!

June New Release Day! - Espresso Bar Table Dies
by Sammi Offield on Jun 14 2023
Happy New Release Day crafty friends! Sammi here to share a card made with the AMAZING new Scene Building: Espresso Bar Table Dies! I absolutely love this die set! I love the retro feel of the colors red and teal, so I went with that color scheme for my scene and I LOVE it! Here is how I made this card:
First, I wanted a wood grained background for my wood wall, so I used the A2 Against the Grain Cover Plate die and then ink blended it with Distress inks. I edged the corners and edges with darker Distress inks to make it looked a little more aged.
I then cut out the pieces in the Espresso Bar Table dies - I cut out the table, espresso machine, flower/vase, row of cups, 3 individual cups, and then the bread, donut, bananas, oranges, apple and pear. I then cut out the tier basket out of silver metallic cardstock. I then colored the smaller pieces with Copic markers and edged the espresso machine with Distress inks to make it look vintage. I then ink blended the table with Distress inks and ink edged it too.
After that, I placed the table onto the card panel with some foam tape. I then started adding the espresso machine, flower/vase and cups using glue and foam tape. I then glued the fruit and breads into the tier basket and then added it to the table with glue and foam tape.
I then decided I wanted to make a poster for the wall from the new Our Finest Selection background stamp so I picked out a image from the background stamp and then cut it down to a square and matted it with some teal cardstock. I then glued it onto the background wall.
I then stamped the sentiment from the new Espresso Yourself stamp set with teal ink and then cut it down to size and added it to the card panel with foam tape and then added some bling from the All About the Teals Sequin Mix. After the card panel was complete, I glued it onto a A2 card base.

Welcome, dear crafty friends, to my creative space!
As you know, crafting is not only a hobby for me but also a way to relax and let my creativity flow. Today, I am thrilled to share with you my latest project which is sure to transport you to a place of serenity and calm.
I present to you a handmade card that showcases a breathtakingly beautiful seascape, brought to life with the use of the Slimline Seashore cover plate die. This particular die has been designed with intricate details that capture the essence of the ocean, making it perfect for your beach-themed projects. I am excited to walk you through the process of creating this card so that you too can enjoy the therapeutic benefits that come with crafting. So, let's dive in and get started!
CARD RECIPE:
Slim Line Scene Building: Seashore Cover Plate Die
Summer Beach Friends Dear Stamp
Summer Beach Friends Dear Coordinating Die
Scene Building: Sand Stamp
I used die-cutting on white card stock with the Seashire slimline cover die, then added color with paper pouncers. A sand stamp complemented the seaside theme, and I stamped the sentiment with versa mark ink and heat embossed it with white powder. I heat set the sentiment for a long-lasting finish. It's rewarding to create something by hand, and this card is no exception!
That’s all for today.
I hope you enjoyed this post and give you inspiration.

Hello everyone! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this card that I hope will inspire you!
To begin I cut several cardboard in a rectangular shape, with which I am going to create the gifts.
I used different cardboard in pink, fuchsia and craft color to later combine them.
I also cut some thin strips to make the gift ribbon.
I then used the "A Bow for any reason die" to cut the bows on all the packages.
I also used the "A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate Die", the "Slimline Trapezoid Spiral Stencil" and the "A Whole Lot Of Polka Dots Stencil" to give texture to some gifts.
Then I combined the different colors to make them contrast.
For the sentiment I used the word "Happy birthday" that I cut out of pink cardstock. This word comes with the "A2 Full Front Shaker Die".
To decorate I added some "Gems mixes fire" to give the card a little more contrast.
Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a non traditional take on a Nutcracker. while scrolling through Google images, I came across some pastel water colored images I wanted to recreate.
This A2 Tall Nutcracker Die, is my FAVORITE new product!!! I used pink, gold, white and black cardstock to dress up the nutcracker. I backed him on vellum cardstock. I dressed up his hat with a holly sprig from Santa's Hot Cocoa Mug Die and used the snowflake die for the background. I inked up the background with distress oxide inks in shades broken china and stormy sky. I added some splashes of water and than some paint splatters.
I scattered some Vintage Bulbs Sequin Mix to the background. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Swanky Christmas Sentiments and the coordinating Die.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek! Hope you have a great week!

Hello Lovely Crafty Friends, I am Sasha and I am so very honoured to be bringing you this blog post. This is my first time on the blog so please bare with me.
I am OBSESSED with shaker cards, honestly I can’t get enough of them!I am equally obsessed with the Picket Fence Studios sequin mixes so a card that features both is perfect! Make sure to check out the reel on the PFS Instagram to get a better idea of this
I like to call this type of shaker a floating edge shaker because it is fully transparent, let me know in the comments if you think it should be called something else.I started off by taking a DL plastic card/poly bag. The bag measures 10.5’ long x 4.5’ wide. I cut the card bag down to 6’ long, the width remains the same. I then cut a 6’ long x 4.5’ wide piece of acetate which will go inside the poly bag to add stability. TIP: if the acetate piece doesn’t fit inside the bag, just cut a sliver of it off.
I splattered the acetate with white acrylic paint then I stuck down a few sequins from the gorgeous plum pudding mix. Whilst that dried, I took a 5’ x 7’ card base and used the A2 Evergreens on a Hill cover plate to cut the card base down to about 4’ long. I then cut out 4 other die cuts of this cover plate. I ink blended 2 of the die cuts with some Prize ribbon and Wilted Violet distress oxides to create some snowy
To assemble the card, I put the acetate into the poly bag then added a bit of the plum pudding sequins before sealing it with double sided tape. I then stuck it down to the inside of the back part of the card base. To cover the tape, I stuck down one of the 4 cover plate panels over the taped area. To the front of the card I took a Santa’s Sleigh Ride snow globe die cut and cut it up so that the sleigh was separate from the houses. I stuck the houses down on the bottom part of the card, in front of the white trees then I propped up the ink blended panel on some foam tape and stuck that over
I finished the card off with the ink blended greetings die cut on the front the snowy trees and the ink blended sleigh over the acetate. I think this is a fun way to create a shaker card. It’s so super light and not bulky at all but most importantly it is magical with all those beautiful sequins! There will be a reel over on the PFS Instagram showing another example of an edge shaker and a Full Video Tutorial on my YouTube channel LOVE BUIlDS UP CRAFTS on Friday. Hope to see you there!

Hello! It´s Silvana here with another inspiration post.
Is it too early to start thinking about Halloween decor...? Never! The spooky season is around the corner and we need to be prepared.
Last release inspired meto make a banner just with dies. Yes! The dies are the most versatile and durable product that we can purchase and we can stretch the use of them in creative ways.
For the banner base I used the A2 Haunted Lair Cover Plate die woth a hevy weight black cardstock.
The funny ghosts are the Three Ghastly friends die that are perfect for this!
In the middle, I put the ghost over the A2 Spooky tree die just to make it more spooky.
The Happy Halloween word die was cut three times in different colors made with the incredibles Paper Glaze velvet in Bonfire, Split pea soup and Sea urchin colors.
I hope you enjoyed this idea and give it a try!
See you soon with more inspiration.
Silvana.
