Hoppy Easter Bunny Basket

by Bobbi Lemanski on Feb 12 2025
Hello, friends. It's Bobbi Lemanski with some sunshine, flowers and a cute bunny, too! I've made a "Happy Easter" card for you today using the following Picket Fence Studios products:  Joyful Easter stamp set Joyful Easter Coordinating Die SetLovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card FrontsBasic Die Cutting Set 1Easter Bop Sequin Plus MixBright and Shiny Day A2 Glossy Card Fronts This card is 5" X 7" in size. The card base is made from white cardstock. Here are the rest of the details!  To make this card, I started with a piece of gingham pattern paper from the Lovely Gingham A2 Glossy Card Fronts for the interior wall of this sweet scene. I die cut the beautiful arch window from white cardstock using the Basic Die Cutting Set 1. This window needed a beautiful outdoor scene so I added some sunshine using a Bright and Shiny Day A2 Glossy Card Front behind the arched window frame. I kept the bottom solid white on the card front and added the "Happy Easter" sentiment.  Next, I worked on the basket, bunny and floral designs from the Joyful Easter stamp set.  I used the Joyful Easter Coordinating Die Set to cut them all out. I stamped all three in white, plus a few more singular flowers to make the bouquet a bit bigger. Everything was colored using the following Copic Sketch Markers: Pinks and Reds: RV09, RV55, RV02, R27 Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03 Browns: E59, E57, E55, E53, E51 Yellows: YR27, Yr24, Y19, Y08 Purples: V04, V06 After everything was colored attached together, I attached the basket of florals to the card front and added the bunny to the back of it. I used foam tabs to attach the basket to make it stand out a bit. Lastly, I added a few sequins to accent the design.  You can shop the entire Picket Fence Studios new release here. Basket of Fun: Combining Dies and Stamps to Create a Scene

by Andrea Shell on Jan 28 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a colorful Easter card featuring Picket Fence Studios' January release. I just adore those cute bunnies from the Follow that Bunny stamp set! I wanted to combine them with the new Scene Building: A Tisket a Tasket Basket Die and Easter Egg Swag Die for a fun scene. I colored the bunnies with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I diecut the basket from lavender and yellow cardstocks with the A Tisket a Tasket Basket Die. I trimmed thin strips of lavender cardstock and wove them through the slits of the basket, securing the ends with liquid adhesive. I added shading with Copics to create some dimension. I diecut the eggs from colored cardstock with the Easter Egg Swag Die. Using my scissors, I trimmed the bows from the eggs, backed them with colored cardstock and added shading with Copics. For my background I first diecut white cardstock with the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Die. After masking the outside edges of the diecut, I ink-blended the grass and sky with dye inks and Life Changing Blender Brushes. To create the sun rays, I used the Sun with Rays 6x8 Stencil. After ink-blending, I flicked water across the grass portion and blotted it with a paper towel. Next, I covered the bottom half of the panel and added Opaque Pale Yellow, Opaque Pale Lavender, and Opaque White Paper Splatters to the top. Once the panel was dry, I removed the masks and adhered the background to one of the Lovely Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. I arranged my Easter basket, eggs and colored images onto my card, adhering them with a combination of glue and varying heights of foam adhesive. For my focal sentiment, I diecut the Happy Easter Word Die from glitter and white cardstocks and stacked the diecuts on my card. I stamped a supporting sentiment from Follow that Bunny, cut it out with the coordinating die, and popped it up onto my card. Thanks for stopping by! I had so much fun creating this card, and I hope it inspires you to combine dies and stamps to create little scenes on your projects, as well! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

A Very Happy Easter to You - Hoppy Poppy

by Brenda Noelke on Jan 24 2025
Happy Friday, friends!! Brenda here with a sweet Easter card featuring the Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy Stamp Set from the latest release!! New stamps from the Freckle Friends Series are always at the top of my list and this Easter one with the bunnies is absolutely adorable!! I started by stamping the darling images from the Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. For the background, I used the third largest die in the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangle and Cover Plate Die Set to die-cut a panel from the Bright & Shiny Day Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. It was adhered to a white A2 card base. The sentiment, also from the Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The bunny and sentiment were popped up with foam tape and the rest of the die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue. I used a black gel pen to add some shine to Poppy's, the birds' and the bunny's eyes and nose. Iridescent sequins from the Easter Bop and Blissful Beauties Sequin Plus Mixes finish off the card and add a bit of shine. Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you next Friday!! Brenda

Easter Hello: Creating a Scene with Stencils

by Andrea Shell on Jan 21 2025
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun card featuring new products from Picket Fence Studios. I love creating scenes on my projects, and the new Scene Building A2 Stencil Set: Layers of Adventures make the process so easy!     Those adorable bunnies, eggs and tree are from the Peach and Piper: Easter Adventures stamp. The bunny on the far right is from the Peach and Piper: Bad Weather Friends set (I love how well the two stamp sets work together!). I colored all of my images with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.     To create a background for my images, I used the Layers of Adventures stencil set. I placed the grass stencil over an A2 panel of white cardstock and applied green ink with a Life Changing Blender Brush. After removing the stencil, I blended the top of the panel with a blue ink. Using the Fan Brush, I splattered water over the grass to soften the green. Next, I laid the same stencil over the panel and applied Incandescent Paper Glaze to create the clouds. I love the shimmer the paste creates!     Once the paste was dry, I adhered the panel to a cardbase and affixed my images. To attach them, I used a combination of liquid adhesive and varying heights of foam. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Follow that Bunny set to finish my card.     Thanks for stopping by!   *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Very Happy Easter

by Andrea Shell on Jan 16 2025
Hello there! It's Andrea back sharing a sweet card featuring some new products from Picket Fence Studios. Isn't the January release adorable?! When I saw the new Freckle Friends: Hoppy Poppy stamp, I had to have it! The Freckle Friends collection from Picket Fence Studios is so cute, and this newest addition may be my favorite. I colored that sweet girl and her bunny friend with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Picket Fence released several new cardfronts this month, and the Field of Wildflowers is just beautiful! The colors and florals are so pretty! After selecting one of the papers, I diecut pink cardstock with the A2 Saying Hello Cover Plate Die. I trimmed down the cardfront slightly and adhered the diecut on top. That large sentiment was created with the new Happy Easter Word Dies. I diecut the words from both white and glitter cardstocks and stacked them together for a little dimension. I diecut the shadow from vellum and glued the sentiment on top before adhering the piece to my card. The supporting sentiment is from the Hoppy Poppy set. I stamped it in pink, diecut it with the coordinating die, and attached it to my diecut sentiment. I popped up my colored images with foam and finished with some pearls and sequins from the Blissful Beauties sequin mix. Thanks for stopping by! This Egg Is For You

by Claudia Cubas on Mar 06 2023
Hi crafty friends, Today I want to show you this card I made as I was starting to think about Easter. I made the background, using die cuts to create the embossing effect. I chose the new set   A Bow for Any Reason Dies  which has so many beautiful bows, really for any occasion. I first created the background with Hexagon Randomness 6x8 Stencil  and glued many bows.  For the shaker I used the set  3.5" Connected Circles Shaker Creator Die  for shaker card that allows us to create the front circle of the skahaker and also the inside, with as many as 5 circle sizes. I used the larger one, so I die-cut  Extra Wide Foam Tape - White 50' Roll and chose the  Sequin Mix Plus - Bunny Honey  to decorate it.  I used the   Hippity Hoppity to All  set with these beautiful eggs that I colored with the no-line technique. I hope you like my inspiration!!!  Claudia

Hippity Hoppity Slimline

by Michelle Bala on Feb 28 2022
Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a slimline Easter card using some beautiful stamps and dies from Picket Fence Studios newest release. I stamped Vintage Easter Hodgepodge -part of the Seamless Stamps collection- 3 times using the Misti, which takes the guess work out of aligning stamps for repetition. I chose to do a no line coloring technique and used a beige ink on kraft cardstock. I colored the eggs with Prisma Colored Pencils in pastel shades than added some paint splatter with white paint. Allow to dry. Next, I used Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail and coordinating Die and followed the same no line coloring technique. I also used Hippity Hoppity to All Coordinating Die for the sentiment. I die cut the word with glitter cardstock and the shodow with white cardstock. I used the large slimline rectangle from Slim Line Die Cutting System and die cut the kraft cardstock panel. I die cut the scalloped panel using Slim Line Die Cutting System- Scallop Frames. I layered the panels, sentiment, and bunny ears onto the card base with Extra Wide Foam Adhesive Tape in white.I added some silver thread behind the sentiment and scattered some Sequin Mix- City of Lights.  That's all for me! Hope you enjoyed this post! Have a great week! Michelle
