Happy Birthday and Many More!

by Brenda Noelke on Jul 02 2024
Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week has started off well!! Brenda here with a colorful birthday card featuring goodies from the latest June Release!! I'm always in need of birthday cards and this one's great because it will work for any age, male or female!! I began by stamping the Birthday Dance Confetti Stamp onto white cardstock with dye inks in shades of blue and green. It was die-cut with the smallest die in the A2 Layering Rectangle Die Set. The "happy" die from the Happy Birthday Word Die Set was die-cut from the center of the panel. It was adhered to a panel of Birthday Bash Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Stock that was cut out with the largest die in the A2 Layering Rectangles Die Set. The "birthday" script was also from the Happy Birthday Word Die Set. It was die-cut once from black glitter cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock, then stacked and adhered together and adhered across the center of the card. The rest of the sentiment, from the Swanky Sentiments: Birthday Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. A sprinkling of Razzle Dazzle Sequins finishes off the card. That'll do it for me today!! Thanks so much for hanging out with me!!  Brenda

Happy 12th Birthday

by Brenda Noelke on Jun 17 2024
Hello, fellow crafters!! Brenda here with you today!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I'm sharing a card today featuring a few goodies from the new June release combined with several older products!! My niece will be 12 in December and she loves purple, so this will be prefect for her!! I started by stamping the cupcake from the Sweet Holiday Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added dots to the stamen with a white gel pen, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I also stamped the "12" candles from the Blow Out the Candles Stamp Set onto white cardstock with purple die ink and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. For the background, I stenciled the Sprinkles 6x8 Layering Stencils onto white cardstock using dye inks and blender brushes, then die-cut it with the middle sized arched die in the Basic Die-cutting Die Set 1. I die-cut a frame from pink cardstock using the smallest and middle dies from the same die set. The sprinkled panel and frame were adhered to a card front from the Birthday Bash Fabulous Foiling A2 Card Fronts pack. The cupcake and candles were adhered with liquid glue. For the sentiment, I die-cut "birthday" three times from white cardstock and once from black cardstock using the Happy Birthday Word Die Set. I used a Pint-size Paper Pouncer to pounce one of the white layers with purple dye ink. All of the layers were adhered together with liquid glue, slightly offsetting the black layer, then adhered across the cupcake liner. "Happy" is also from the Sweet Holiday Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with purple ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. Another layer was die-cut from black ink. They were adhered together with the black layer offset and popped up with black foam tape. Sound Waves Gems were adhered to the top of the candles and around the sentiment to finish off the card. Thanks so much for spending a bit of your Monday with me!! Have a great week!! Brenda

It was die-cut with the largest arched die in the Basic Die-cutting Die Set 1. I used the two largest arched dies in the same set to cut a frame from plum cardstock, then I cut the second largest arched die from vellum. The largest die in the A2 Rectangle Layering Die Set was cut from blue cardstock and the She Endured Background Stamp was stamped onto it with blue ink. All of the layers were adhered together with liquid glue and the flowers were adhered across the front of the panel.  The sentiment, from the Swanky Sentiments: Sympathy Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto plum cardstock. by Brenda Noelke on Apr 15 2024
Happy Monday, Picket Fence friends!! Brenda here with a shaker card created with goodies from the Ocean Odyssey Release that just dropped yesterday!! Such a fantastic release!! My card today features the Seahorses of the Sea Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies, the Beachcomber Fabulous Glossy A2 Card Fronts!! I started much like I do most cards, by stamping the seahorse from the Seahorses of the Sea Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored him with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and used the Coordinating Die to cut him out.   Next, I created my shaker by die-cutting a panel of cardstock from the Beachcombing Fabulous Glossy A2 Card Fronts with the smallest rectangle die in the A2 Rectangle Layering Die Set and cutting an oval with a die in the Basic Die Cutting Set 1 Die Set. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how stunning this cardstock is?!? So beautiful!! I adhered the oval in the center of a panel of burnt orange cardstock that was cut out with the largest die in the A2 Rectangle Layering Die Set. Acetate and foam tape were adhered to the front panel, Tropical Breeze Sequins were added for the shakers and the layers were adhered together.  The sentiment is also from the Seahorses of the Sea Stamp Set. Not only does the sound of the sea help the tides rise...it totally relaxes me!! The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock with burnt orange ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The seahorse and sentiment were adhered to the front of the card with liquid glue and this card was complete. I LOVE these colors and who doesn't love a shaker card?!? Be sure to check out the fabulous Ocean Odyssey Release in the shop!! Thank you so much for spending part of your Monday with me!! Have a great week!! Brenda

Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here with you on this frigid Monday!! I hope you are staying safe and warm!! My goodness, is it cold outside!! It's the perfect weather to stay inside and do some baking, unless one of your resolutions is to cut back on sweets. In that case, I have the perfect solution...paper cookies!! Ha!! The newest January Release is chock-full of yummy cakes, cookies and treats to make your cards absolutely delicious!! I began by die-cutting the cookies and frosting bags in the Scene Building: Cookie Making Die Set from cream, white, red and pink cardstock. This set is so versatile!! There are so many dies to customize your cookies for different occasions!! The cookie sheet was cut from frosted silver cardstock. I added a bit of blending around the outside the cookies with brown ink and a Life Changing Blender Brush. I adhered all of the elements together and adhered the cookies to the pan with liquid glue, then added highlights with a white gel pen. For the background, I blended red and pink dye inks onto the first four layers of the Sprinkles 6x8 Layering Stencil Set with Life Changing Blender Brushes. I spread pink glaze in the Paper Glaze Velvet Soft Pastel Sampler Set onto the final layer with a palette knife. Once dry, I trimmed it slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of red cardstock. The cookie sheet was adhered with liquid glue and the frosting bags were adhered with a combination of liquid glue at the tip and foam tape toward the opening of each bag. I trimmed the excess from the right side. The sentiment, from the Lick the Bowl Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto pink cardstock and trimmed into a narrow strip. It was popped up toward the bottom of the card with foam adhesive to finish it off. Be sure to check out the entire January Release in the shop!! It will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth!!
