Hello, Picket Fence friends and happy Friday!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda from mypapercutcreations here with you today!! I'm sharing a card that was totally inspired by the Twinkle Lights: Seas Paper Glaze Luxe that was released earlier this month!! Such a beautiful color!!
I began by die-cutting both layers of one of the butterflies from the Two Big Beautiful Butterfly Die Set from heavyweight white cardstock. I spread the Twinkle Lights: Seas Paper Glaze Luxe heavily onto the bottom layer and set it aside to dry overnight.
For the background, I die-cut one of the geometric inner dies in the A2 Rectangles Layering Die Set from white cardstock and layered it onto an A2 white card base. I die-cut the same die from sage cardstock. The squares were inlaid into the background and the background die-cut was saved for another project.
The sentiment, from the Wreath Building: Butterfly Wings Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto the same sage cardstock and fussy cut. The butterfly was adhered with liquid glue and the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. I found the perfect color of sequins in the Nostalgic Times Embellishment Mix and added a few to finish.
I am so inspired by color and I love how the Twinkle Lights: Seas Paper Glaze Luxe inspired this monochromatic cardl!
