Hi there! It's Andrea with you sharing a Christmas card featuring the new Winter Blooms stamp set. The Winter Blooms stamp set is so beautiful and makes such elegant holiday cards. If you're not much for coloring, this set would be just as gorgeous simply heat-embossed onto colored cardstock. I stamped the border from Winter Blooms in black and colored it with Copics. I diecut the border with the coordinating die and then set it aside to work on the background. I trimmed an A2 panel of red cardstock and heat-embossed a sentiment from Deck the Halls in the center. Using a Life Changing Blender Brush, I blended the edges of the panel with a coordinating ink. I adhered the red panel to a white cardbase and popped up the floral border with foam tape. I added some gems from the North Pole Gem Mix to finish the card. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Slimline Santa's Sleigh

by Andrea Shell on Sep 25 2024
Hello! It's Andrea back to share a fun card featuring the new Reindeer at Play stamp set from Picket Fence Studios. The reindeer from the Reindeer at Play set are so adorable! I stamped the sleigh once and the reindeer four times in black. I colored the images with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, and diecut the images with the coordinating dies. To fit all of the images, I decided to create a slimline card. First, I diecut the frame from white cardstock with the Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles Dies. Next, I blended a slimline panel of white cardstock with the following colors of distress inks: Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. I added splatters of Liquid White Snowflake and Opaque White Paper Splatter to the background panel. After the splatter had dried, I attached the ink-blended panel to a white card. I adhered the scalloped frame with foam adhesive and also popped up my colored images. My sentiment is from the Winter Blooms Dies. I diecut the phrases from red glitter and white cardstocks and stacked the diecuts. I glued the sentiment to my card and finished with some snowflake sequins from the Jingle All the Way sequin mix. Deck the Halls

Hi there! It's Andrea back with you sharing a Christmas card featuring Picket Fence Studios' September release. I love the Freckle Friends' line of stamps, and the newest one, Holly Jolly, is no exception! I colored that sweet girl and Christmas tree with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. To create the window, I diecut an A2 panel of gray cardstock with the Basic Die Cutting Die Set 1 Dies. I used the same die to create the white frame. I backed the gray panel with clear acetate and glued the white frame inside the opening. For my background I used the new Christmas Tree Farm 6x8 Stencil. After placing a panel of pink cardstock onto the 5x6 Paper Inking Palette, I covered it with the stencil and applied pink ink with a Rainbow Pint-sized Paper Pouncer. Using the window panel as a placement guide, I glued the tree and girl to the stenciled panel. I adhered the stenciled panel to a white card and attached the window panel with strips of foam tape. To embellish the window, I used the greenery and bow from the Christmas Wishes Tags & Ornaments stamp set. I colored the bow with Copics and diecut the greenery and bow with the coordinating dies. I glued the foliage to the frame and popped up the bow with thin 3D foam squares. My sentiment is from the new Deck the Halls stamp set. I heat-embossed it in gold, cut it out with the coordinating dies, and attached it with foam. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Hello there! It's Andrea with you sharing a Christmas card created with fun dies from Picket Fence Studios. I just love Picket Fence Studios' line of Nibbles Dies! Today, I'm featuring the Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus Dies. Aren't they adorable?! I diecut the elements for Santa and Mrs. Claus from white, red and gold cardstocks. I colored the white and red diecuts with Copics, assembled the characters with liquid adhesive, and added highlights with a white gel pen. That cheerful background panel is from the Happy Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts. To soften it a bit, I applied white gesso in the center (white acrylic paint would also work; I just had the gesso at hand). Once the gesso was dry, I trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a white cardbase. With the Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles and Alpha Dies, I diecut two scalloped circles from white cardstock. I adhered the circles to my card with foam squares and popped up Santa and Mrs. Claus. Using the Layering Flora: Leaves & Twigs Dies, I diecut the foliage from two colors of green cardstock. I tucked the foliage under my characters and circles and added red clay beads for berries. For my sentiment I combined words from the Peaceful Christmas Flowers set with the "and" word die from the Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles Dies. I gold heat-embossed the stamped sentiments and diecut them with the coordinating dies. I diecut "and" once from gold cardstock and three times from white and stacked the diecuts. I attached the embossed sentiments with foam tape and finished with a scattering of gold pearls. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Ghostly Greetings

Hi there! It's Andrea with you to share a fun card featuring the new Be My Boo? stamp set and October 31st Word Dies. These ghosts from the Be My Boo? stamp set are so cute! I colored them with Copics, fussy-cut them, and added white highlights with a gel pen. To create my background, I blended a white panel with the following colors of distress oxides: Salvaged Patina, Unchartered Mariner, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I flicked Opaque White Paper Splatter over the panel to represent stars. For my moon, I diecut a white circle with the 2.0" Connected Circles Shaker Dies. I blended the circle with gray ink and stamped a sentiment from the Freckle Friends: Bella Boo stamp set. I glued the circle to my background and attached the panel to a white cardbase. I diecut "October" with the October 31st Word Dies twice - once from black glitter cardstock and once from white cardstock. I trimmed the spider webs from the black diecut before gluing it onto the white one. I popped up the diecut with bits of foam and attached the ghosts with thinner foam adhesive. Christmas Shaker Card: Copic-Colored Diecuts

by Andrea Shell on Aug 26 2024
Hi there! It's Andrea back to share a fun shaker card featuring new dies from Picket Fence Studios. Have you seen the Nibbles line of dies from Picket Fence Studios? They are so adorable! I'm featuring two of the newest Nibbles dies on this card: The Brave Bear and Santa. I love them! I diecut the various elements from white and colored cardstocks. Before assembling the characters, I added Copics to the pieces to create a bit of dimension. To keep the diecuts in place while I colored them, I used the 4"x4" Paper Inking Palette. For the shaker I diecut gray cardstock with the A2 Saying Hello Cover Plate Die. I backed the panel with clear acetate and strips cut from Extra Wide Foam (The extra thickness is perfect for shakers!). I created the polka dot background by stenciling white cardstock with the A Whole Lot of Polka Dots 6"x8" Stencil. I used a Pint-Sized Paper Pouncer to apply red ink through the stencil. The shaker pieces are from the Hi Santa! It's Me! mix. After placing the sequins onto my polka dot panel, I sealed them with the diecut panel. I attached my bear and Santa with foam squares and finished with a sentiment from the Peaceful Christmas Flowers stamp set, which I diecut with the coordinating dies. Mixed Media Fall Hello Card

by Andrea Shell on Aug 08 2024
Hello there! It's Andrea back with you, and today I'm sharing a fall card featuring products from Picket Fence Studios' July release. Who else is ready for fall?!! Those gorgeous leaves are from the Layered Flora: Fall Foliage Dies. Aren't they awesome?! To create them, I first scribbled watercolor markers onto watercolor paper, spread the ink with water, and then dried it with my heat tool. I repeated the steps to build up the color before adding Opaque Black Paper Splatter. Once the paper was dry, I diecut it with the Fall Foliage Dies. I also diecut leaves from gold gllitter cardstock. For my background I used the Tree Bark 6"x8" Stencil. I placed the stencil over a panel of gray cardstock and pounced on gray ink with the Neutrals Paper Pouncers. I removed the stencil and blended the edges of the panel with the same ink using a Life Changing Blender Brush. To tie the background to the leaves, I added Opaque Black Paper Splatter before adhering the panel to a cardbase. I cut a diagonal strip of gray cardstock and attached it to my card with foam squares, trimming off the excess. I diecut "hello" from black cardstock using the Hello to You Word Dies and glued it to the strip. Next, I tucked the leaves under the strip, securing them with liquid adhesive. I finished the card with some gold glitter gems. Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out Picket Fence Studios' July release for lots of awesome products for your fall projects. *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.

Happy Birthday and Many More!

by Brenda Noelke on Jul 02 2024
Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week has started off well!! Brenda here with a colorful birthday card featuring goodies from the latest June Release!! I'm always in need of birthday cards and this one's great because it will work for any age, male or female!! I began by stamping the Birthday Dance Confetti Stamp onto white cardstock with dye inks in shades of blue and green. It was die-cut with the smallest die in the A2 Layering Rectangle Die Set. The "happy" die from the Happy Birthday Word Die Set was die-cut from the center of the panel. It was adhered to a panel of Birthday Bash Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Stock that was cut out with the largest die in the A2 Layering Rectangles Die Set. The "birthday" script was also from the Happy Birthday Word Die Set. It was die-cut once from black glitter cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock, then stacked and adhered together and adhered across the center of the card. The rest of the sentiment, from the Swanky Sentiments: Birthday Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. A sprinkling of Razzle Dazzle Sequins finishes off the card. That'll do it for me today!! Thanks so much for hanging out with me!!  Brenda

If you know me at all, you know that I am obsessed with shoes...especially boots, so this set is right up my alley!! Combine a boot with flowers and I couldn't love it more!! I stamped image from The Right Pair of Boots Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink and colored with with Copic markers. I used the smallest die in the A2 Rectangles Layering Die Set to cut it out and adhered it to a panel of black cardstock that was cut with the next largest die in the same set. Next, I die-cut the Pinking Shear A2 Cover Plate Die (bonus...this comes with a complete alphabet set) from a panel of paper in the Cotton Candy Clouds Fabulous Glossy A2 Card Fronts Pack (this complimented my flowers perfectly) and adhered it to a white card base. The two rectangle layers were adhered to the background. The sentiment is also from The Right Pair of Boots Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, fussy cut and popped up with foam tape. To finish, I added dots to the centers of some of the flowers with a yellow gel pen. A Birthday Cupcake Just for You!

by Colleen Balija on Feb 06 2024
Hi friends! It's Colleen again and I'm sharing another birthday card using the new Wreath Building: Cupcakes for You stamp and Wreath Building: Centers and Foliage stamp. I'm also using the existing Layering Flora Happy Fern die and Tangerine and Sunlight Yellow flatback pearls!  These sets are made to create beautiful wreathes, but I wanted to combine the Wreath Building cupcake stamp and Centers & Foliage stamp into one card. So, I decided to stamp the wreaths and place the cupcakes inside of each, building a lovely background!  First, I stamped the solid circles from the Wreath Building: Centers and Foliage stamp in a dark shade of brown ink. Next, I stamped the tiny dots stamp from the set in a shade of yellow, deliberately offsetting the stamp for a playful effect! It's subtle, but those little details take your card to the next level! When I finished creating a background with the circles, I stamped a few of the mini cupcakes in the center of each circle. Then I stamped a few of the teeny tiny pieces of fruit (so adorable) from the cupcake stamp set to fill in the extra space between. I also stamped one of the leaves from the Centers and Foliage set (this set can be made into a lovely wreath as well!).  Once the stamping was complete, I colored the cupcakes and fruit. Then I trimmed the panel, setting the outer part of the panel aside, and placed the center panel over a slightly larger dark brown panel. Then I adhered both over the outer part of the panel to create a fun effect that adds interest to a one-layer card!   The remaining step was to add the sentiment, which was stamped in dark brown ink from the Cupcakes for You stamp, surrounded by the wreath stamped in yellow. I die cut the sentiment in a circle and placed it over the white Layering Flora leaf. The leaf helped the sentiment not get lost in that busy background. I finished with shimmer and glossy accents on the cupcakes as well as pearl sequins!  I love how organic the card looks! Thanks so much for joining me today! Hello everyone! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this Christmas card that I hope will inspire you!  To start I used the "Stocking Full of Coal Stamps” which I stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad” and then painted with alcohol markers. Then to give the stamps more relief, I used the white Gelly Roll in the areas where I wanted to give shine and the black Micron Pigma in the areas where I wanted to give more depth. For the background I used the “Christmas Whishes Stamps” which I stamped with black ink and also added a strip cut from red cardboard of the "Slimline Scene Building Time for Tea Dies”And for the sentiment I used a phrase from the “Stocking Full of Coal Stamps” that i stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad”.I also added some “Gems mix fire” as decoration. Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was! I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store. A huge kiss and until next time!

Have some Christmas Joy

by Sammi Offield on Sep 19 2023
Hey crafty friends! Sammi here to show you a 6x6 card made with the NEW Christmas Joy stamp set from the new release! I just love this stamp set and the cute squirrel! I decided to make a snowy night background and wanted to pair it up with the A Forest Walk stamp for the background. Here is how I made this card! First I inkblended the background with blues for a night look. I used Catherine Pooler inks for my ink. I then stamped the A Forest Walk stamp with the Picket Fence Hybrid Black ink so that it covered the whole card panel. I then took some white acrylic ink and splattered white across to create a snowy background. I then stamped the Christmas Joy stamp set with Picket Fence Black Hybrid ink and then cut it out with my Scan-N-Cut and then colored the images with Copic markers. I started with the greenery and then the florals so I could keep track of the images and the background. This was a great image to color!  I then popped the colored image onto the background with foam tape. I then stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut it down to a square and used some red cardstock to mat it. I then popped it onto the card panel with foam tape.  I then added some embellishments from the Santa Cookies embellishments. I then matted the card panel with red cardstock and then glued it onto a 6x6 card base.  I just love how this card came out! This stamp set and AMAZING! The stamp set would be perfect for a A2 sized card to, I just wanted to make a 6x6 to show off a great background with the A Forst Walk stamp set. Here is what you need to make this card!  A Forest Walk – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) Christmas Joy – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) Sequin Mix Plus - Santa's Cookies – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com)

Hello everyone! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this Halloween card that I hope will inspire you!  To start I used the "A Magical Lot Stamps” which I stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad” and then painted with alcohol markers. Then to give the stamps more relief, I used the white Gelly Roll in the areas where I wanted to give shine and the black Micron Pigma in the areas where I wanted to give more depth. Below I used the “A Magical Lot Coordinating dies” to cut them out, but you can also carefully cut them out with scissors. For the background I used the “A2 Ghost House Cover Plate Die” that I cut in black cardboard and then I prepared a sunset with distress oxide inks in very typical Halloween colors. And for the sentiment I used a phrase from the “A Magical Lot Stamps” that i stamped with the “Black Hybrid ink pad”. Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was! I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store. A huge kiss and until next time!

Hey crafty friends!! Sammi here to share a card featuring the A2 Ghost House from the new release! The new release is so AWESOME! It is such an amazing and huge release - definitely something for everyone!  For this card, the first thing I wanted to do was to create my spooky sky. Using the moon mask from the new Mini Haunted Moon stencil, I masked where I wanted the moon to be and then ink blended the sky using Distress Oxide inks. After I was done, I removed the mask and then stenciled in the rest of the moon using the rest of the moon stencil set. I then created the bats with some Black Pansy Paper Glaze along with the Bat Crazy 6x8 stencil. While the Paper Glaze was drying, I then cut out the Ghost House with black card stock and then glued some yellow card stock in the window openings and where the light from the windows shines on the ground. I then cut another Ghose House out of black glitter card stock and glued it on top of the black piece, adding some white pigment ink to create a shadowy look. I then glued the house onto the card panel. I then added the sentiment from the People are my Favorite, Mummy stamp and die set and then glued the card panel onto a A2 card base.  I absolutely love this set! So many possibilities and so easy to work with! Here is what you need from the new release to make this card: Bat Crazy 6x8 Stencil – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) Mini Haunted Blending Stencil – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) A2 Ghost House Cover Plate Die – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) People are my Favorite, Mummy – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) People are my Favorite, Mummy Coordinating Die – Picket Fence Studios (pfstamps.com) Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Happy Stamping! -Sammi
