Meet our June Guest Designer - Libby Hickson

Meet Libby Hickson in her own words... "I've been papercrafting for over 20 years, spending the last 10 working with Hero Arts. From designing cards, to working tradeshows, to teaching classes, to managing the Hero Arts Creative Team and helping behind the scenes, I love getting others excited about stamping! When I'm not in my craft room/office, I love to travel, cook, garden, and spend a lot of my time at the soccer fields with my husband, cheering for our two kids."We know Libby as a kind, tireless friend in the Stamping Village - a creative genius, and always generous with her...

Paper Cranes & Lemons

Hello Everyone!  It's Ceal! Today I am sharing some cards using some 4x4 stamps from the June release. We have several of these 4x4 stamps in the shop and they are so fun to create with. The first two cards use the Paper Cranes along with some word dies, Hello and I Miss You. These stamps are seamless on all four sides so you can line them up for days. On a scrap piece of paper I scribbled all the grey copics I planned on using, then used some blues over...

Mixing Paper Glaze

Hello - it's Michelle here today to share this card that I made a little while ago by mixing Agapantha purple and Cornflower Blue paper glazes to create a new colour. I love using a gradient of colour over a stencil - I usually do this with ink and Life Changing Blender Brushes, but you can do it with Paper Glazes and a palette knife, too!  They mix beautifully, and spread over the stencil just like cake frosting - so satisfying! I called my new colour Royal Blue. I used the Mermaid Scales stencil and a sentiment from Fancy Sentiments...
