Flowers for Picking with Judy Rozema
by Judy Rozema on Feb 10 2020
Today I am sharing a one of the new stamp sets from the January Creativation Release. What a fabulous release! I hope you have had a chance to check it out. For this card I used the adorable FLOWERS FOR PICKING. Now, if you look through my work, you won't see a lot of flower images. I love them, I just don't usually stamp with them for some reason. But these are so cute and fun to color. I made a monochrome card using a favorite color family, and colored the flowers with my alcohol markers. Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies, and made a round card. I had a scrap of patterned paper that matched, and added a sentiment from the previously released BECAUSE.
And because we all like sparkle without the mess, I added some shimmer with my Glitter Pen to all the flower centers. The card base is my favorite shimmery silver cardstock from CutCardStock (Curious Metallic Ice Silver).
These flowers make such a sweet greeting! You can find more of my projects at Joy in a JAR.

Stenciled Valentine's day card with Michelle Lupton
by Michelle Lupton on Feb 07 2020
Hello - Michelle here today! One of my favourite items from the January release from Picket Fence Studios is the "Flowers in a Heart Stencil", and I think it is very useful for Valentine's Day cards.
I blended some pale pink and pale purple Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white cardstock. (My Life Changing Blender Brush still had some yellow ink on it from another card, so the pink came out as a yellowish pink.) I then added the stencil and blended the pink and purple ink at the opposite ends of the cardstock as the first application, and I added more ink that the first time. I then stamped "I love you the mostest" with Picket Fence Black hybrid ink, and added some sequins as a finishing touch.
Thanks for visiting :)

Scroll Stencil with Mindy Eggen
by Mindy Eggen on Feb 05 2020
Welcome everyone! Mindy Eggen here with you today and if you follow me you know I love my stencils and Glitz Glitter Gel. Today's card features them both!
This is really a quick card to put together. I'm going to be using the new Scroll Stencil from Picket Fence Studios. This is such a great design! I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray and temporarily adhered to Black cardstock.
I'm applying Wild Lilac, Turquoise Sea and Grass Green Glitz Glitter Gel over my stencil. How gorgeous are these colors together?! After I remove the stencil, I'll rinse it off immediately with soap and warm water. Then set my panel off on the side to dry. Depending on how thick you applied the Glitz, I would say give this a good hour at least.
After it was completely dry, I trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" and attached to a Black A2 size card front.
I really didn't want to add much more to the card so I used this small sentiment from the Peach & Piper Checking the Post stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration!

Hello Monday Friends!
When I first saw this Eat Sleep Yoga stamp and die set, I just KNEW I'd be using it often. I have a daughter in law who teaches yoga and I think she would love some cards using this set. She and my 3 year old granddaughter even do yoga together.
Here is a look at this adorable stamp set which has matching dies:
I also used the Scrolls stencil for my background. Take a look at how beautiful it is:
I hope you've enjoyed today's card. I certainly loved making it and sharing it with you.

Hi Everyone, Becky Roberts here from Inking Idaho with another project from the January Picket Fence Studios Release.
This is called A Bride's Bouquet. I love the cotton in this bouquet and all the coloring possibilities!
A Bride's Bouquet Stamp Set
This card is colored with Copic Markers and the sentiment is embossed on Vellum.
This is one of the purses in my Fashionable Favorites tutorial available HERE. I used the bouquet as a 'fabric' background and a few of the flowers for a tag.
I used my envelope punch board to create an envelope. The flowers pull out and it is a congratulations card.
I colored the flowers with Copic markers and then hand cut out a few extra to make it more dimensional. The sentiment is embossed with black embossing powder.
This is a must have for spring and I hope I've provided you with lots of inspiration!
Happy Friday!

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m over Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this floral card with a partial die cutting. I’m featuring the Eiko Girl Stamp and die, Flowers for Picking Stamp and dies, Glass Window Rainbow Die and for my sentiments I used A Pain In My Ass Stamp.
Let’s create the background! I placed the Glass Window Rainbow Die on top of a white cardstock and make a partial die cutting. I added a piece of glitter paper at the back of this panel and then I adhered a white card base using glue.
Next, I stamped the Eiko Girl and Flowers for Picking Stamps onto watercolor paper and applied pink, yellow, skin and brown shades of watercolor. Once my panel is dry, I die cut all the images using the coordinating dies.
Finally, I arranged all the die cuts on top of my panel using glue and foam tape for some dimensions. Added a few iridescent jewels and stamped the sentiments.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a marvelous crafty day!

Yoga, Punching People is Frowned Upon
by Lisa Henke on Jan 29 2020
Hello friends! I am always excited to get to share with you here on the PFS blog. It's Lisa Henke and I am FINALLY getting a chance to show off my favorite card from the latest release. Did you see all the NEW products from the January Release yet? You can check it all out and SHOP HERE.
So here is the sweet little yoga girl from Eat Sleep Yoga. She looks so sweet and innocent and perfectly in her zen, right? Then you read the sentiment.Bawhaha! I LOVE a great snarky comment and this one is just awesome. I stamped it in a grey ink to keep the soft, calm feeling of the card.
I colored her up with copic markers and then used the coordinating Eat Sleep Yoga dies to cut her out. I used a few foam dots to pop her up.
So let's talk about the background for a quick second. IT might just be my favorite thing from this release. It's a new stencil called Flowers in a Heart Stencil. I picked out a few smaller Life Changing Blender Brushes and added in some different tones of green from The Stamp Market inks. I didn't really want the full effect of the heart shape, just a focus on the gorgeous florals, so I faded out the ink at the eges to give a softer edge.
I hope you love my card today and this new release. I am still getting inky with all the goodness. We added a scrub pad to the store, lots of stamps, dies, and stencils. Have a beautiful day and if you are feeling punchy, go do some yoga!
Hugs, Lisa

Hello Everyone
It's Ceal, here to share a couple cards using the Swallowtail Beauty with you today. I was supposed to post on Wednesday and I still had brain fog from Creativation and totally forgot.
The January release was fabulous and huge and this stamp is one of my favorites because I love butterflies. I shared the second card on release day on my blog but wanted to share it here along with the top one I created after I got back home.
For the first card I used Fadeout ink for no line watercoloring and the new Atelier inks from Ink on 3. You can find the links to these on my blog, Simply Beautiful.
The Fadeout ink along with the Atelier inks make it so easy to no line watercolor and we have several new stamps like the Swallowtail Beauty that are begging to be watercolored.
The card below I stamped the Swallowtail Beauty in embossing ink and then embossed it using Brutus Monroe Alabaster Sparkle. I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend a rainbow of colors over it. The greeting is from the Forever & Ever set.

Welcome and a happy Friday to you!
One of the first techniques I learned as a new stamper was to add ink on a craft sheet and spritz with water, then swish cardstock through the watery ink. It's still one of my favorite ways to create interesting backgrounds. I created several backgrounds with the technique and let them dry. After selecting a background I foiled and die cut it with this Two-Part Foiling and Cutting Die set. I was thrilled with the result! I am a huge fan of white and black with a bit of color so I simply splattered a bit of black ink on white cardstock and stamped the Thank You sentiment. Lastly, I added the succulent to the card.
That's it for me today! I hope this inspires you to add shine to your projects with foil! Have a wonderful weekend!

Sassy BFF Maggie Mae cards with Erica
by Erica Andersson-Burke on Jan 21 2020
Hi guys!
Welcome back to the Picket Fence Studios Blog, it’s Erica here with a couple of very CAS cards. These are not my forte at all, but I am working on it and they are coming *slightly* easier these days. I still feel like they are a bit naked and need something but basically sit on my hands to stop myself from adding more stuff to them. It’s weird but it works, lol!
On water colour paper I stamped up BFF Maggie Mae with the Hybrid Black ink and set it with my heat tool a little bit. I do this especially when I am going to use lighter water colours or Copics. For this card I have used Daniel Smith water colours.
The colouring itself of Maggie Mae is pretty easy breezy, and not to detailed. I added light colours and in the areas where I wanted more contrast and details, I have added more of the same colour or a slightly darker one. I didn’t want to go too vivid for this one.
When she was all done and dry, I used the coordinating diecut to cut her out and set her aside while I stamped up a card base. I wanted to use the sentiments from Seriously, Literally, Always because they are so sassy and funny.
Using the Hybrid Black ink again, I stamped them up directly onto the card base. I was only going to make one but while I had my Mini MISTI out and card bases ready, I decided to do one more. This is the SUPER Clean And Simple one. I am in two minds about it. It’s funny and to the point but I do think it needs a bit of colour or something more.
The BFF Maggie Mae image I glued down directly onto one of the card bases and with that the cards were done. So easy but how funny is that?
I love how it turned out with the softer colours on Maggie Mae too. Maybe I will try one with more vivid colours next time though. Just to compare. As long as it’s fun, why not, right?
Well, that’s it from me for today. Thanks for stopping by and spending this time with me, I hope this post inspired you.
Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Saturday was an exciting day for Picket Fence Studios - the January CREATIVATION Release! There are so MANY amazing products in this release - new stencils, stamps, and coordinating dies - plus foiling plates!
Today I am sharing two of the new stencils: Artsy Sun and Flourish Circle. My first card uses a perfect sentiment from You Are My Sunshine. I used my Life Changing Brushes and Squeezed Lemonade DOX for the sun. The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne.
My second card uses the elegant Flourish Circle and a sentiment from the new stamp set, Seriously Absolutely Always. What a perfect card for an anniversary or wedding.
Broken China Distress Oxide Ink was blended in with Life Changing Blender Brushes. I again used Nocturne ink for the sentiment. A few pearls for a little bling, and it's finished!
It's a simply fabulous release, so head over to the Shop to see it all! There is so MUCH MORE to check out! You can find more of my projects on Instagram at @joy_in_a_jar.

Welcome back everyone! It's Mindy Eggen here with you today! I love when a stamp set comes along that has images of products I play with. For instance, the I Work for Watercolor stamp set from Picket Fence Studios. This has a ton of crafting images and sentiments on it.
While I do not consider myself that good at watercoloring, I am certainly fascinated by it and continue to experiment with it. I stamped the image of the watercolor set in Black ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 Machine.
Keeping this card pretty clean and simple, I stamped a sentiment onto the front a white A2 size card base with Black ink using my Misti tool. Then attached my watercolor set with a dot runner.
I really love having the larger sentiment and a small one underneath. The large sentiment also has an artistic look to it which matches perfectly with the theme of this stamp set.
I hope this has inspired you! While I love getting inky and creating crazy backgrounds, you can never go wrong with clean and simple.

I Love You the Mostest with Susie Moore
by Susie Moore on Jan 13 2020
Hello Monday Friends!
It's two weeks into the new year and while many of us are on diets...isn't it time for just a little treat? Can you resist cake? I try, but it is mostly futile!
Luckily the Let's Decorate stamp and die sets have no calories whatsoever and neither does the Quatrefoil Bouquet stencil I used! Oh that stencil! I just love the way it looks when lightly blended with the Life Changing Blender Brushes
I colored my stamped and die cut image using Copic markers and then stamped my sentiment from the I Love You the Mostest stamp set using black ink. I added just a few sequins to finish my card and I hope you like it.

Hello friends! Today I’m up at Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing this birthday card using 4 different colors of foils to use with the Picket Fence Studios Happy Day Foiled Impression and Cutting Die. Additionally, for the background I used Points of Interest Stencil and One Year Older Stamp for the sentiment.
Let’s start! I placed the Picket Fence Studios Points of Interest Stencil on top of a white panel and applied Distress Oxide inks using Life Changing Blender Brushes. I removed the stencil and let the panel dry. In the next picture you will see the inks used on this card.
Once the panel was dry, I trimmed down a little bit the edges and adhered a white card base at the back.
Next, using the Gemini Foilpress machine I foiled the Happy Day Foiled Impression Die 4 times with different colors of foil. Then, I die cut all the pieces using the coordinating dies.
I stamped on my panel the Happy Birthday sentiment from Picket Fence Studios One Year Older Stamp Set using Hybrid Black ink and heat embossed it using WOW! Embossing Powder.
Finally, I added all die cuts on top of the background using foam double sided tape and a few sequins and this card was done.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a marvelous day!!!

Birthday Fishes and a Touch of Glitter
by Lisa Henke on Jan 08 2020

Hello PFS friends! It's Lisa Henke here and in honor of my oldest son turning 18 today (yes I said 18! How in the heck did that happen??) I wanted to share a birthday card. I layered up some stamps and added a bit of glitter. Let's look.
I joke that it is birthday season in our house, but it's no joke. We legit, celebrate 8 birthdays over the next month. So I love to have my birthday card stash going strong. Oh, and all the birthdays are for the males, too. Soooo, I don't know about you but I find it a bit more challenging to make masculine birthday cards. I used the One Year Older stamp set today, as I think fish work great for guys.
I started this card with the school of fish image from the One Year Older set. I did a little rock and roll technique with three ink colors to create some color variance. I then layered on the Polka Dots stencil and blended on some light blue ink using a Life Changing Blender brush. I picked one of the larger sizes to make the task go quicker.
Next I stamped out a single fish from the set with Intense Black ink and used my copics to color him up. I used the One Year Older dies to cut him out and added him to the card front with some foam dimensionals. I then layered on some bubbles in black.
I love adding just a touch of sparkle, even to cards for guys, and using a strip of glitter paper in gold, is a simple way to do this without going over the top. With all the ink layering and dimension of the fish, I kept the sentiment simple and just used the Happy Birthday greeting from One Year Older. Plus I love the linear look of the stamp. I layered the finished panel onto Midnight card stock and added it to a Mist card base.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you soon and have a great day. Hugs, Lisa

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you enjoyed ringing in the new year! Did you make any New Year's resolutions? I didn't because I have always felt like the new year starts when my kids head back to school. Even though my kids are older now, I still make changes and life adjustments in the Fall. Therefore, when January comes along hopefully I am rolling right along! One change I made this past Fall was to start eating better. My goal was to look better but I ended up with a far greater benefit. I feel better! Now I feel like I am living in real color!
Charles the Chameleon is all about living in real color! I stamped a painted background with Color Heals the Soul and then stamped and die-cut Charles. Next, I placed Charles in the MISTI and stamped Color Heals the Soul over the top of him in the same colors as the background. Next, I couldn't leave Charles hanging in the air so I gave him Just a Branch to balance on. Lastly, I added the sentiment.
One other tool I want to mention before I go is the new Stamp Scrubber! I used it to clean the stamps I used today. It did a beautiful job cleaning all the crevices in the paint drips on Color Heals the Soul!
That's it for me today! Hugs and remember to Live in Real Color!
