Hello everyone!! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this Christmas card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I used the "Animal Crackers Christmas Wishes" Stamps set that I stamped with "Black Hybrid ink pad" which is perfect for this type of stamps!
Then I painted all the images with alcohol markers and then with a white marker I glossed it to make it stand out.
Then i cut out the images using the "Animal Crackers Christmas Wishes" coordinating dies but you can carefully cut them out with scissors if you prefer.
Next I prepared the background: for this I used a white cardboard that I painted with distress oxide inks and a green cardboard with which I used the "A2 Evergreen on a Hill Cover Plate Die" to which I then added the snow with the "Paper Glaze Luxe - Arctic Fox".
For the sentiment I used the word "Greeting" that comes with the "A2 Evergreen on a Hill Cover Plate Die" that I cut out of blue metallic cardstock.
Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.
A huge kiss and until next time!

Seasonal Christmas Flowers Poinsettia Cards
by Brenda Noelke on Sep 22 2022
Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here with my first blog post as a member of the talented & amazing design team!! I’m super excited to be able to share some of my creations with Picket Fence products!! I’ve always been a huge fan!!
I’ve really been enjoying creating with the latest September release!! One of the first sets that caught my eye was the stunning Seasonal Christmas Flowers Stamp Set!! The poinsettia is such an iconic holiday symbol and I couldn’t wait to color these!!
I began by stamping all of the images in the Seasonal Christmas Flowers Stamp Set with Black Hybrid Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Die Set.
I’ve always loved the contrast of black with bright red poinsettias, so I trimmed a panel of black cardstock to 4” x 5.25”. I adhered the leaves and holly with liquid glue and popped the poinsettias up with foam tape. I diluted some Snowdrop White Glaze with water and splattered it over the panel and poinsettias with a paint brush.
Once that was dry, I adhered it to a panel of white cardstock, then an A2 panel of red cardstock, before adhering it to my card base.
The sentiments, from the Swanky Christmas Sentiment Set, were white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I love these fonts!! They were also popped up with foam tape.
For the finishing touches, I dotted some Golden Sparkle Paper Glitz onto the centers of the poinsettias with a stylus and added a combination of Dancing Reindeer & A Classic Christmas sequin mixes.
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!

Hello Lovely Crafty Friends, I am Sasha and I am so very honoured to be bringing you this blog post. This is my first time on the blog so please bare with me.
I am OBSESSED with shaker cards, honestly I can’t get enough of them!I am equally obsessed with the Picket Fence Studios sequin mixes so a card that features both is perfect! Make sure to check out the reel on the PFS Instagram to get a better idea of this
I like to call this type of shaker a floating edge shaker because it is fully transparent, let me know in the comments if you think it should be called something else.I started off by taking a DL plastic card/poly bag. The bag measures 10.5’ long x 4.5’ wide. I cut the card bag down to 6’ long, the width remains the same. I then cut a 6’ long x 4.5’ wide piece of acetate which will go inside the poly bag to add stability. TIP: if the acetate piece doesn’t fit inside the bag, just cut a sliver of it off.
I splattered the acetate with white acrylic paint then I stuck down a few sequins from the gorgeous plum pudding mix. Whilst that dried, I took a 5’ x 7’ card base and used the A2 Evergreens on a Hill cover plate to cut the card base down to about 4’ long. I then cut out 4 other die cuts of this cover plate. I ink blended 2 of the die cuts with some Prize ribbon and Wilted Violet distress oxides to create some snowy
To assemble the card, I put the acetate into the poly bag then added a bit of the plum pudding sequins before sealing it with double sided tape. I then stuck it down to the inside of the back part of the card base. To cover the tape, I stuck down one of the 4 cover plate panels over the taped area. To the front of the card I took a Santa’s Sleigh Ride snow globe die cut and cut it up so that the sleigh was separate from the houses. I stuck the houses down on the bottom part of the card, in front of the white trees then I propped up the ink blended panel on some foam tape and stuck that over
I finished the card off with the ink blended greetings die cut on the front the snowy trees and the ink blended sleigh over the acetate. I think this is a fun way to create a shaker card. It’s so super light and not bulky at all but most importantly it is magical with all those beautiful sequins! There will be a reel over on the PFS Instagram showing another example of an edge shaker and a Full Video Tutorial on my YouTube channel LOVE BUIlDS UP CRAFTS on Friday. Hope to see you there!
Crafty hugs, Sasha x

Nancy here to share a Christmas card using products from the latest release.
After stamping the From Our Gang to Yours image onto Copic friendly cardstock, I cut out with the matching die and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment from the set was stamped using cherry kisses ink and also cut with its matching die. I cut out the background panel using a stitched edge die, then cut a circle from it and backed the space with patterned paper. The "snow" was cut out with a die from the Mountains Scene Building set, then stamped Winter Scenery Scene Building stamp using soft stone ink for a subtle look. I used my finger to randomly add streaks of Sparkle Paper Glitz. The image and sentiment were attached using a layer of craft foam.
There is a 10% discount If you purchase the whole set of Animal Crackers consisting of three stamps and three matching die sets.

Hello there! It´s Silvana here and I´m so glad to be here again in the Picket Fence Studios. Today I´m sharing an interactive Halloween scene card featuring some new products of the new release.
The first product I used was the A2 Spooky Tree die which I cut in a textured black cardstock and panel the little houses with vellum paper. This card has lights behind the house that turnoson when you press the Halloween word.
I ink blended the background to make the night scene with the moon. With the Life changing Blender Brushes the transitions between colors are smooth and well integrated. Then I used then new A2 Cauldron of Bats stencil with the new Paper Glaze Velvet in Blackboard color.
The word Halloween is heat embossed with white embossing powder and it comes from the new Cat plays Fiddle to the Silver Moon stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
If you want to see the lights in action, be sure to check the post in my Ig account.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you in my next post,
Silvana.

Clean and Simple five-minute cards
by Evgeniya Ishbul’dina on Jul 29 2022

Happy Friday! Eugy here, today I’m sharing some Clean and Simple card ideas using the Fancy Life Events Sentiments stamp set (it has coordinating dies!) and other gorgeous products from the July release. All of my cards were super easy to make!
But first, just a little reminder that we have a Flash Sale on site (exclude the July release).
I made my first card using heart stamp from Ink Swatching stamp set. I was so excited to try this new stamp and I found it’s super fun and easy to use - I already created swatches for all my “inks for stamping”!
After I stamped my background, I added a sentiment and some glitter cardstock. Voila, my card is ready! To get beautifully blended two-tone gradient impressions, I used Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend ink before stamping. And the best thing about Fancy Life Events Sentiments stamp set is that it has coordinating dies!
For my second card, I prepared the card base by coloring it using ink pad technique. After that, I simply diecutted a white card panel with new gorgeous Opulent Negative Strip Die and mounted it on my pre-colored card base using 3d foam squares.
The sentiment stamped in black ink seemed too bright to me, and I muted it with some pearl embossing powder.
For my last card, I wanted something not usual, maybe some dry embossing effect. So I embossed white A2 panel with new Opulent Negative Strip Die (I use a standard sandwich for Cuttlebug), added colorful sentiment and some crystals for an extra sparkle.
As you can see, all those cards can be done in five minutes! Go check out the entire July release or Flash Sale!
Happy crafting and have a great weekend!

Hi, everyone! It´s Silvana here from Casa Magnolia and I´m so happy to be for the first time in the Picket Fence Studios blog. Today I´m sharing a shaker card made with some new products of the July release and previous products.
Picket Fence has this amazing A2 Full Front Shaker die to make shaker cards that makes it so easy! Just cut the acetate and you´ll have the perfect A2 size piece and the marks to fold and paste the flaps. Acetate can be tricky to fold but this die help us very much with that.
For the back panel of the card I dry emboss an A2 size piece of cardstock with the new stencil Shadow of leaves. Then, I paste the diecut acetate panel and filled the shaker with the new Sequin Mix Yellow Bottlecap Flowers.
The beautiful flower stamp is called A mum which I die cut with the coordinating die. I colored the stamp with Copic markers to combine with the sequin mix.
The sentiment is from the new stamp set Fancy Life Events sentiments and its coordinating die. I heat emboss it with white embossing powder on black cardstock.
Even though the card has some fall vibes, we can use it for any ocassion. It can be given with a wedding present or on a birthday party.
I hope you like it!
See you in my next post.
Virtual hugs,
Silvana.

Hello everyone!! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this fall card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I used the "More Maple Leaves", "More Oak Leaves" and "More Ash Leaves" dies that i cut on gold and black cardboard.
Next I prepared the background: for this I cut the outside of the leaf dies and used them as a stencil. Then I randomly placed them in the background and painted them with Distress Oxide inks in earth tones. Then I was pasting the leaves on top, but with a little offset to give it a different touch.
For the sentiment i cut the "Good day to you word" die on gold cardboard and placed it in the center of the card.
And this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.

by Heejung Hunsberger on Jun 24 2022

Hello!
I had a wonderful trip to Korea last few weeks. I almost forgot to share this colorful Hummingbird's Song slimline card to you.
I stamped the hummingbirds images with 6 different colors. ( Stamp set- A Hummingbird's Song- New release of June)
I inked a red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple color on the hummingbird stamp, after blending the color and color boundaries, stamp on the white card stock and die cut the image. (I used Inkon3 mini cube inks)
Place the birds of each color underneath, place the birds blended in different colors on top of them, and paste them on the cards.
I decorated with sequins around the birds.
Thank you for stopping by! and Happy Stamping!

Momma and Baby Giraffes Mother's Day Card
by Charlene Madrid on Apr 26 2022
Mother’s Day is almost here, and the new Momma and Baby Giraffes A2 Stencil is just perfect to use for a Mother’s Day card.
Charlene here from Dream Craft Create, and I am so excited to be posting for the first time on the Picket Fence Studios blog! For today’s card I paired the Momma and Baby Giraffes A2 Stencil with the Marvelously You Word Topper Die and the A2 Cherry Blossoms Cover Plate Die.
First, I dry embossed a white A2 sized piece of cardstock with the Momma and Baby Giraffes A2 Stencil. Keeping the stencil in place, I ink blended in pink, yellow, and blue ink on the diagonal using my Life Changing Blender Brushes. I overlapped each color to achieve a rainbow effect. I love blending inks to make a rainbow!
Next, I ink blended again in pink, yellow, and blue ink on a separate A2 sized piece of cardstock. I made sure to keep my piece of cardstock in the landscape orientation while I was ink blending. Once I had another rainbow of color, I die cut the cardstock using the Marvelously You Word Topper Die.
Once I was done with my rainbow pieces, I die cut an A2 sized piece of cardstock using the A2 Cherry Blossoms Cover Plate Die. This cover plate is gorgeous. I want to use it to make a shaker card, but that is a card for another day! Once cut, I used my scissors to trim out the middle portion. I set the middle portion aside to use for another card.
All that was left to do was to put everything together. I used liquid adhesive to adhere my pieces to an A2 sized card base in the order of giraffes, blossoms, then word topper. I added a little bling using sequins from the Day of Rainbows Sequin Plus Mix.
I hope you find some time to craft today, and that my card inspires you. You can find more cards using products from the recent April release on my blog. All the supplies I used are listed below. Happy crafting!

Hello there, Lisa here with you today to share a card using the Full Round Tree Die and I paired it with a sentiment from an older set called Face The Sun
I started by taking two panels of 110lb white cardstock and adding some Stick It Adhesive onto the back of them. Taking the Full Round Tree Die, I then ran each panel through my Gemini Junior a few times as it is an intricate die. I must have been feeling very brave when I decided to cut two of them and stack them together! But I went ahead with it anyway. I adhered the die cuts together gradually working my way around the tree and poking any excess out with my craft pick! This did take some time as you probably would have guessed. However, it really did make a difference having some dimension to the tree and if I had had a bit more patience, I would have die cut a third and added it on top. I think having a bit of dimension really helps to make it stand out from the cardstock behind.
For the background I selected five different coloured cardstocks. I used Concord & 9th Peacock, Oceanside and Sprout, Lawn Fawn Cilantro and Hero Arts Kiwi. I cut these into jaunty triangles with my paper trimmer. This wasn’t as simple as you’d think either. I am sure there must be a quicker (and easier) way to cut them but mine took a while and involved all sorts of pencil lines here there and everywhere. Still, I loved it at the end, so that was also worth the time and I don’t think I have ever created a background like this before!
All the triangles were adhered flat onto a panel of white cardstock that I then added to a top folding A2 base card.
The tree stack was then added on top with wet adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Face The Sun onto black cardstock, added some White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I trimmed it out and popped it up with foam tape.
A labour of love for sure – not that you would know it. It looks so simple! Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you have a good day, and happy crafting!
