Hello there! It's Andrea with you to share some inspiration with the Graceful Magnolias stamp set from the October release.

After seeing other designers color images on colored cardstock, I have wanted to try it. With its beautiful florals, the Graceful Magnolias stamp seemed the perfect candidate for that technique, too.

I began by embossing the magnolia spray onto navy cardstock with WOW! Polished Silver Super Fine Embossing Powder. I added color to the flowers and buds with colored pencils, starting with a light color (I recommend white for a base layer) and working up to darker ones. I heat-embossed a second spray onto vellum with WOW! On the Lake Embossing Glitter. I diecut both images with the coordinating die.

I kept my background simple to have the focus on my floral images. I diecut the same navy cardstock with the A2 Basket Weave Cover Panel Die and mounted it onto metallic cardstock. I think the result is very elegant!

I glued the two magnolia sprays together and attached them to my background with foam squares. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Swanky Sentiments: Sympathy set with the silver embossing powder and diecut it with the coordinating die. I adhered my sentiment to a strip of vellum and wrapped the strip around my background panel, which I affixed to a cardbase. For more sparkle, I added clear gems to the background.
