Hello!  It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara.  The new release is here, and did you see all of the adorable mermaid sets?  I had so much fun playing with the new sets this month! The adorable mermaids on this first card, are from the A Fishy Lot Stamp Set.  I stamped the images in Black Hybrid Ink, onto white card stock, and colored them in using Prismacolor pencils.  Then I die cut the images using the Coordinating Dies.

Color Blocked Wild Daisies

by Sandi MacIver on May 07 2021
Hey cardmaking friends, welcome back.  Sandi here and today I have Color Blocked Wild Daisies to share with you.  I have been circling back around to some cardmaking techniques I have enjoyed in the past and color blocking came to mind.  I decided to do a little masking to create the Stripes and use my Distress Oxide Inks for the blending.  The beautiful Wild Daisies outline stamp from Picket Fence Studios was perfect for this application with it's big bold image. How to create the Color Blocking Technique Start by masking off the left side of the card front with Post It Tape. I prefer this tape as it doesn't leave any residue. TIP - I work on grid paper which allows me to keep my lines straight. Next use a blending brush to blend Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink along the exposed edge of the card. Remove the tape and heat dry the ink. Finally, repeat across the the left side of the card front making the stripes different widths for added interest.  Remember for the next three colors you will need to mask off both sides to protect the color you have already laid down. Colors of Distress Oxide Inks Used in order:  Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Mustard Seed. TIP - if you are using the same pieces of Post It Tape, rub off the excess ink with a paper towel before moving on to  the next color Completing the Card: Trim the card front to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" and place it into your Misti Stamping Tool. Use the Black Hybrid Ink to stamp the Wild Daisies Stamp Image over the front of the card. Once the ink is dry,  attach it to a top folding A2 white card base. Stamp a sentiment in black ink on a white piece of scrap paper and trim before attaching with foam squares to the bottom left corner of the card. Embellishing: I decided not to embellish this card.  With the bold stripes and the detailed stamped image there was plenty going on. The Color Blocking Technique is a fast and fun way to add a bunch of color to your cards without having to do detailed coloring.  It's also quick and easy so if you are strapped for time, this technique will work for you. Picket Fence Studios also has a variety of large image floral stamps perfect for this technique. Want another card idea using this stamp set?  I shared THIS ONE a couple of weeks ago. I hope you enjoyed today's quick and easy card.  Find more card ideas using products from the April Release on my blog. Happy Stamping

Finds A Good Friend

by Sara Sherlock on May 04 2021
Hello!  It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara.  Today's card features the adorable Cats are Family Stamp Set, along with a scene background created with stencils.  This card began by adhering the English Brick Wall Stencil to a white panel of card stock.  Using a Life Changing Blender Brush, I blended Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil.  Then, using a smaller brush, I added a bit of Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink to areas.  I used Painter's tape, to reveal a small "strip" of card stock above the stencil, and blended Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks to form the top of the wall.  Once I removed the stencil, I added a little Hickory Smoke Ink to the revealed grout lines to add some shading.   I taped off the inked portion, and used the Slim Line Cloud Coverage Stencil, to create the clouds on the top of the card front.  I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink on with a Life Changing Blender Brush, and rotated the stencil on each level to change the pattern.   On white card stock, I stamped two of the cat images from the Cats are Family Stamp Set, using Black Hybrid Ink.  I also stamped the sentiment onto the inked panel, with the same ink.  Using Prismacolor Pencils, I colored in the cat images, and added some detail to the brick wall created earlier.  Then, I used the Cats Are Family Coordinating Dies to cut the cat images out.  The cat images were adhered to the card front using foam tape, and then the card front was attached to a white card base made from heavyweight white card stock.   I hope you enjoyed today's card.  Find more cards using products from the April Release over on my blog.  Have a fantastic Tuesday!  Much Love,                                                  Sara

Dreaming Of A Deserted Island Vacay with Erica

Hi guys!  It’s Erica back on the Picket Fence Studio blog with a card using the You Or Wifi stamp and coordinating die set. It’s been a looooooong time since I’ve been on a beach holiday and it would be asolutely amazing to go on one, don’t you agree? Well, in the lieu of an actual holiday on a beach, I decided to create a beach themed card and dream of sand between my toes, sun on my face and a good book to read whilst working on my tan!  I started out by stamping up the island image from the You Or Wifi stamp set, with the help of a mini MISTI and the Black Hybrid Ink, on Copic friendly paper. While I was on a roll, I stamped up two of them actually.  With a huge array of Copic markers I coloured in the images. When that was done, I picked one and used the coordinating diecut on it. On a white card base, I ink blended some left over yellow ink over the Corner Sun stencil. This was just ink left on my Life Changing Blender Brushes as I wanted a really soft look. After achieving the look I wanted by gently blending the brushes over the stencil, I shifted it and kept blending. This gives the soft look I was after, with a few areas of slighty more opaque colours, for a gorgeous 'first rays of the day' look.  With the help of the diecut, I masked off the area that would be water, and used another Life Changing Blender Brush with blue ink on it.  The card just needed a sentiment and I ended up using one from the You Or Wifi set. It's stamped up with Black Hybrid ink and with that, the card was done!  What do you think? Want to meet me on the beach? Bring the SPF and a good book.  Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Hello!  Larisa here and today, I have two very bright and very colorful scene cards to share with you!  For my first card, I paired A Walk in the Park with Bugville.  I stamped out my park scene and masked it off.  Then I stamped Bugville in the background.  I colored up the scene with copics and trimmed it to fit my A2 size card.  Then I stenciled in my sun with distress inks.  A very vibrant way to say, "hello!" For my second card, I used the Slimline Die cutting system and cut 2 birch tree panel from the center.  Then I stenciled in some clouds and stamped my grass on a separate piece of paper.  I trimmed that to fit behind my card panel and adhered the two pieces together.  Then I mounted that on a piece of teal card stock.  I stamped out my flower and leaf images on Copic-friendly card stock and colored them up.  Then I die cut them out using the coordinating dies and popped them on top of my card front.  The "happy birthday" sentiment across the top finishes it off.   Products Used: A Walk in the Park Clear Stamp A Walk in the Park Coordinating Die Corner Sun Stencil  Slimline Cloud Coverage Stencil Black Hybrid Ink Life Changing Blender Brushes Slim Line Die Cutting System Bugville Clear Stamp Set A2 Tall Grass and Waves with Tiles and Wood Floors Leaves for Flowers Clear Stamp Set Leaves for Flowers Coordinating Dies Beautiful Girl Flowers Beautiful Girl Flowers Coordinating Die Gin and Tonic Sequin Mix Do Good Recklessly Clear Stamp Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Coffee is Always Better With a Friend

by Ilina Crouse on Oct 26 2020
Hi everyone! Ilina here. Today I am sharing card using the new Sponsored by Coffee set and the coordinating dies. To make the card I started by stamping the image on white card stock using Intense Black Hybrid ink. I also stamped the image onto masking paper and cut out the individual elements and negatives. I used those to mask parts of the image and do some ink blending using the Life Changing Blending brushes and red, brown and warm gray inks to add color to the image. Once I was satisfied with the results I die cut the image using the coordinating dies. Next stamped sentiment on black card stock, embossed in white and trimmed to size. I assembled the card using some coffee themed patterned paper I had in my stash and black note card.   Thanks for stopping by hope you have an amazing day!

Hello! It's Michelle here today, and I'm sharing a card using the no-line colouring technique.    I stamped the rose image in very pale ink, then coloured it with Derwent pencils. I fussy cut around the left edge of the rose and adhered it to a pink card base with a strip of red cardstock. I stamped and white embossed the sentiment from Fancy Sentiments onto matching red cardstock, and added it to the front of the card, along with some Gin and Tonic sequins.  IMPORTANT NEWS!!!   Click HERE to shop the sale! New Release Projects with Larisa

by Larisa Hohman on Sep 02 2020
Hello!  Larisa here and today I'm sharing a few projects using some of the new goodies released a couple weeks ago.  Let's get started!   For my first card, I used the NEW A World With Octobers stamp set.  As someone who absolutely loves fall, I have to say, this stamp set is a MUST.  I just love both of the sentiments on the set and that it can be used for Halloween or just fun fall card.  To create my card, I stamped my images out on Copic-friendly card stock and colored them with Copics using the no-line coloring technique.  Then I die cut the panel into a stitched square and layered that on top of some kraft card stock.  I added a few patterned paper page flags underneath my panel and adhered the whole thing to some green plaid paper.  Such a fun and simple card.  Love it!   Card Details: A World With Octobers Clear Stamp Set Copic Colors: Orange: YR04, YR16, YR18 Brown: E43, E47, E49 Green: YG21, YG25, YG67 Yellow: Y21, Y26 Red: R35, R56, R59 For my next card, I used the oh-so-sweet Your Friend Dear Stamp Set and paired it with the NEW Evergreen Stencil.  I have to tell you, I had so much fun creating this card!  To begin, I stamped out my image on Copic-friendly card stock and colored it up using Copic Markers.  Then I created a mask, layered that over the top, and used distress inks to add my trees to the background.  Then I removed my mask and colored in the ground using Copics.  I also added some definition to the trees with my YG67 Copic Marker.  I die cut the whole thing into a stitched square and layered that on top of a kraft card base.  Then I added a sweet sentiment from the New Songbirds Set.   Card Details: Your Friend Dear Clear Stamp Set Evergreen Stencil Songbirds Clear Stamp Set Copic Colors:  Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R20 Hair: Y21, Y26, E87 Red: R24, R56, R59 Blue: B21, B24, B26 Orange: YR04, YR16, YR18 Tan: E50, E53, E55, E57 For my final project, I used the NEW Songbirds Clear Stamp Set to create some fun little tag pockets.  I had the little kraft pockets in my stash and decided these little birds would be the perfect way to embellish them.  First, I die cut some white tags from a die in my stash and added some ribbon and clothes pins to the top.  Then I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to fit the front of the pocket and adhered that together.  I colored up my birds using Copic Markers in fun, bright colors and die cut them out in a circle.  Then I used foam tape to mount them on top of some scalloped circles and placed those on top of my pockets.  A few glitter embellishments, some washi tape, and some stamped sentiments finish these little pockets off.   Card Details: Songbirds Clear Stamp Set Copic Colors: Blue: BG10, BG11, BG13 Pink: R00, R11, R20, R22 Yellow: Y21, Y26 Green: YG21, YG25, YG67 Additional Products Used: Black Hybrid Ink Pad Life Changing Blender Brush Set Thanks so much for stopping by! Leaf Mandala Madness with Erica

by Erica Andersson-Burke on Aug 18 2020

Hi guys! It's Erica back on the PFS Blog today, with three cards all using the Leaf Mandala stamp from the August release.  The first two cards are done with Rose Gold embossing powder, one clean and simple and the other rich and sparkly.  On the clean and simple one I coloured in the leaves with Zig Clean Color markers, in autumnal colours to complement the colour of the embossing powder.  This one was finished off with a stamp set from Levels Of Friendships in three different Distress Oxide inks to create a gradient look. It's Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral.  One last finishing touch were a few sequins from the brand new sequin mix Bourbon Maple Splash.  The second card was done with the same Distress Oxide inks, only ink blended this time. Using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I added the colours out to all the edges.  In order to bring some attention to the leaves, I brought in my Zig Clean Color markers again and used these to add more depth and colour. A final sentiment from Live Happy was stamped over the wreath. I also added some shimmer to it. I did this by splattering some Golden Rose Paper Glaze mixed with water to create a gold water colour.  The final card is coloured with Copics, and I have also added the pumpkin from A World Of Octobers on it. The background is made up with the Leaf Mandala stamped up about two thirds on the top and the bottom of a card base, then coloured in. I did mean to make them perfectly mirrored but that did not happen. Oh well.  The pumpkin was also coloured up with Copics, after being stamped up with Black Hybrid ink on a scrap piece of Neenah card stock.  I also added one of the sentiments from A World Of Octobers on it, and then trimmed it down. This strip I adhered straight to the card and as a last flourish, I added some sequins from the Bourbon Maple Splash sequin mix to balance out the wonkiness of the Leaf Mandalas.  That's it from me for today, I hope you enjoyed these cards and found some inspiration here!  Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

New Release Fun Continues

by Lisa Henke on Jul 15 2020
The new release is amazing. I hope you checked out all the new products and what the DT created with all the goodness yesterday. You can find all the NEW RELEASE HERE! It was full of fall and Christmas stamps but I wanted to ink up this new Shading Flower Stencil. It's a beautiful image and makes beautiful cards. I have two cards, one with bright cheerful colors and another one monochromatic .  The first one I created with colors from this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. I inked up the flower with Salty Ocean, Dried Marigold, and Mowed Lawn Distress inks. I used post-it notes to cover up areas I didn't want to transfer other colors to. The Life Changing Blender Brushes make the ink blending easy and quick. Once the ink was dry, I added a sentiment from More Fancy Sentiments with Intense Black Ink.     I added some gold splatter with Golden Rose Paper Glaze. I added a bit of water to thin it out and then flicked it on to my card base with a paint brush. I finished it off with a little more shimmer thanks to Spiced Cider Sequin Mix.  I didn't want to put this Shading Flower Stencil away, just yet. I wanted to create another card, this time in a monochromatic color scheme. I used Speckled Egg and lightly added in touched of Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink. I kept th layout the same but wanted to show how easy you can switch up a card with color.   I used a different sentiment from More Fancy Sentiments and used sequins from Martini Mix Sequins.  Thanks for stopping by today. Grab a Life Changing Blender Brush and a Stencil and have some fun.

Hi Everyone!  We made it to Friday, yay!  I went to an online retreat this spring and had a burst of stamping inspiration that I want to share with you today. First up is the adorable A Little Nuts Squirrel!  He cracks me up!  I love that there is also a Coordinating Die with this set so you can stamp and color the tiniest acorns and simply die-cut them!  My squirrel is colored a little different because one of the challenges at the retreat was to color an animal an unusual color.  I love him pink!  :)  I stenciled a simple but striking background with the Funky Leaves Stencil using  LC Blender Brushes.  Next up is happy mail with our favorite rabbits, Peach and Piper Check out the Post! It's so easy to create sweet scenes with the Coordinating Dies.  For the background scene, I stenciled Layers of Grass and the Layers of Clouds with my LC Blender Brushes.  Lastly, I added thinking of you from the Ways to Say Get Well set.  This sentiment set is a wonderful set that includes sweet ways to let someone know that we care.  I love that it has one-word sentiments as well as longer sentiments. I love it when you stop by, so thank you and have a wonderful weekend! ANGIE

Fireburst Stencil in action with Erica

by Erica Andersson-Burke on Jul 07 2020
Hey guys! It's Erica, aka The Stencil Addict, back on the blog today! Today it's all about the Fireburst Stencil.  This first card you might have seen already, but just in case you haven't, I have included step-by-step instructions here: Step 1: Make COLOURFUL background. I used Copics, and simply swiped them back and forth on the card stock to create this vivid rainbow. The markers in the photo are the exact ones, in order. Step 2: Spray your stencil with Pixie Spray and let it cure for a few minutes. Place over background where you want to create the pattern. Protect your project by covering the edge with Washi tape or something similar. I have used PostIt Tape here.  Step 3: Pick out your Paper Glaze choices. I used Golden Rose and Black Pansy for this one. Work fast and apply the glaze. Thin if you want just shimmer and a little texture. Add lots if you want more texture. My base layer was Black Pansy. Step 4: For extra pizzazz, add a thin layer of another colour on top. I used Golden Rose here to add some gold shimmer. Step 5: Stamp sentiment on it and hey, presto! Done! For this card I used one from the After The Storm stamp set and stamped it up in Black Hybrid Ink with the help of a MISTI.  On the next card I ink blended some fiery colours first, using Atelier Inks from Ink On 3 in Bee Sting Yellow, Marigold Orange and Marilyn Red, using Life Changing Blender Brushes.  Leaving the stencil in place, I also added some Black Pansy and Golden Rose Paper Glaze around the edges. The middle I left clear so I could stamp up a sentiment.  Because it's so fiery I thought the sassy 'My hobbies includes having no time for bullshit' was perfect. It's one of two in the Do Not Take Any Shit set.  The final card is done with only Paper Glaze and the stencil flipped 45 degrees.  It's so dramatic and elegant against the white background! I did make a bit of a mess at the top right corner, but never mind.  To finish off the card I heat embossed 'happy birthday' from Fancy Sentiments, in gold on vellum. This strip I wrapped around the background and then adhered it to a card base.  Well, that's it from me for today! I hope you found some inspiration here with me, and will try some of these techniques for yourself.  Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Fancy Kaleidoscope Stencil Cards with Erica

by Erica Andersson-Burke on Jun 30 2020
Hi everyone! It's Erica back on the PFS blog. Today I have LOTS of cards, using the brand new Fancy Kaleidoscope stencil from Picket Fence Studios's June release, to share with you. I do love a good stencil, and it's possibly I went a tad overboard here but it just took off. I did ink blending, water colouring, ink smooshing and all sorts went on. Let's get to it, shall we? First of I sprayed the Fancy Kaleidoscope stencil with Pixie Spray and stuck it down on a big square of water colour paper. Then I grabbed my palette with Ink On 3 re-inkers in them. There are six wells, one each for Bee Sting Yellow, Marigold Orange, Marilyn Red, My Jam Purple, Peacock Blue and Goddess Green. All of these are already mixed with Liquid Pixie Dust, this creates a shimmery water colour, which is fabulous. You can see this in action in the video I have up on my YouTube channel too.  While I was cleaning up after the colouring, I thought, why not try another few things? My first attempt was adding more colour to the stencil and dabbing water colour card stock on top. This turned out fab but there was still colour left on it so I dabbed another piece on it, and this one turned out soft and pretty too. There was STILL colour left so I kept going! I ended up with four pieces in total, as well as a smaller one. I love that from the same stencil you can get so many different looks! Because I'm obsessed with ink blending as well, of course I had to do some of that too. Because why not, right?? I used a different Life Changing Blender Brush for each one of the Atelier Inks I used: Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green, Peacock Blue, Marilyn Red and Marigold Orange. It's so effortless to do ink blending with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I LOVE them.  With a ton of backgrounds done it was time to turn them into cards! With loads of fun, sassy and girl boss sentiments available from Picket Fence it was a breeze. The ink blended piece was quickly finished off with a sentiment from After The Storm stamped up with Black Hybrid Ink, which also has been heat embossed with some sparkles on top. The next two are each one half of the big piece from the beginning. One I adhered to a piece of black card stock, only slightly bigger than the background piece, to frame it. Also to coordinate with the Best word die, that's also partly cut out of black card stock. The second of the two was adhered directly to a white card base. Both cards have sentiment from BFF Girl Gang and stamped up in Black Hybrid ink. One final card was done on a background piece done with the Atelier re-inkers as water colours. Here I used the stencil and Paper Glaze in Snowdrop White. The sentiment is from Charles The Chameleon. Phew, well, that's it from me for today. I hope you found some inspiration here and will try some of these techniques for yourself and have some fun!  Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

After The Storm Two Ways with Erica

by Erica Andersson-Burke on Jun 16 2020

Hi guys!  It’s Erica back on the Picket Fence Blog today, with a couple of cards using the brand new After The Storm stamp set.   Both cards are coloured with Copics and stamped up with the Black Hybrid ink. Because the After The Storm stamps are brand new, I used a Mini MISTI to make sure I got good stamp outlines.  I wanted to create really dramatic and dark clouds, but not make them all grey or black. On a scrap piece of paper I scribbled all the grey copics I planned on using, then used some blues over them to see how they reacted. This scrap piece became my guide to how to colour in the clouds.  For the rainbow I used one single marker for each section. On the second card I started with a lighter Grey Copic (C5). On the first one the darkest one is C7. On this one I used a more pastel colour scheme for the rainbow. I have also used two markers for each section to get more dimension. I added two more colours, plus a darker shade, to colour in the umbrella, as well as some browns for the bench. Once the colouring was done, this card was complete as the sentiment is already stamped up on it. To add more drama to the first card, I cut out a mask and placed over the coloured image. Then I ink blended some Chipped Sapphire that was left on one of my Life Changing Blender Brushes to add a soft dark sky behind the clouds. The final touch for the background was splattering some Golden Rose Paper Glaze on the card for some shimmer. I mixed a tiny dollop of it with water and splattered it with a paint brush. I keep one specifically for this as it dries rather hard, and this paint brush is no good for anything else now.  The sentiment for this card is one from the After The Storm stamp set, and it says ‘Rainbows only form after a storm’. To create this effect, I masked off the ‘rainbow’ and stamped the rest of the sentiment with Black Hybrid ink. Then I masked off the ‘rainbow’ part in sections and stamped each section in a different colour. I have used Atelier Inks from Ink On 3 in Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green, Peacock Blue and My Jam Purple.  If you look closely, you will notice that I have used the colours in the same order as my rainbow is coloured. Nice little touch, eh?  Well, that’s it from me for today. Thank you for spending this time with me, I hope you found some inspiration here and if you want to add this gorgeous stamp set to your stash you can find it RIGHT HERE. Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Face The Sun with Mindy Eggen

by Mindy Eggen on Apr 29 2020
Welcome back everyone! I hope you are having an amazing week. Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Picket Fence Studios April Release featuring Face The Sun stamp set. The first thing I think of when I see Picket Fence Studios is their gorgeous large images. They already have quite a collection of them and here is one more! While these images are amazing to color, they also make great background pieces. I created my background by first ink blending Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks using Life Changing Blending Brushes onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. Once that was completed dry, I prepped the background with an anti-static powder tool and stamped the large image in the corners of the card with clear ink with the help of my Misti Stamping Tool. I sprinkled on the white embossing powder and heat set with my Wagner Heat Gun. I personally like doing the heat embossing after the ink blending because I feel the white stands out more. Yes, you could do the emboss resist technique and wipe away the excess ink, but I find it's never quite as bright. Once everything was dry, spritzed the background with water and dabbed up with a paper towel. I also flicked on a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls in the colors Perfect Pearls and Iris. I finished off the card by heat embossing a sentiment from the Fireflies on a Warm Night stamp set in white embossing powder onto black cardstock. Then trimming down and adding to the card front with foam squares. I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration and will head over to the Picket Fence Designs website to check out this stamp and all the other amazing products they carry! Stencilling Madness with Erica!

by Erica Andersson-Burke on Apr 16 2020
Hi guys!  Erica back on the PF Blog today and I've got quite a few cards for you!  All the cards in this post are made with stencils one way or another, or a third. I do love them and it's so great that there are new ones in each release. For these cards I have used Flowers and Stars. My first two cards are very simple and fun, as well as quick. I have used the Flowers stencil for these. With the help of some Life Changing Blender Brushes and Atelier inks I ink blended the inks directly onto card bases. The stencils have all had a good spray of Pixie Spray on them to keep them in place. It's such a must have for those intricate stencil. It's almost impossible to get clean, crisp lines without it.  For these two I started with a light blend of Bee Sting Yellow ink in the middle of the Flowers stencil and worked my way out towards the edges. Then to create some contrast and depth, I added some Marigold Orange on one and Marilyn Red on the other.  To finish these off I cut out the Hey You in black and white card stock. The background piece I cut out four times and layered up to raise the whole thing up. On the next card I've used the same Flowers stencil but stead of ink blending, I've used Paper Glazes to create a rainbow.  The colours I used, from left to right, are Agapantha Purple, Peony Pink, Marigold Orange, Golden Rose, Daffodil Yellow, Leaf Green and Ocean Poppy.  Make sure you clean off your stencils and tools quickly after you have used Paper Glazes as they do dry fast. I have an old kitchen sponge and tooth brush I use to clean off mine. DO NOT use your Stamp Scrubber on Paper Glaze. I repeat: DO NOT use your Stamp Scrubber to clean off Paper Glaze! It will ruin it!  The sentiment is from Never Faked A Sarcasm and I stamped it with Black Hybrid ink on white card stock, trimmed it down and adhered it to the card right in the middle.  My next card is also very simple, although it took a lot longer to create the background for this one. It's done with Copics and it is done as a dark night sky. The stencil used on it is called Stars and I used Black Pansy Paper Glaze with a palette knife. I thought maybe it would look too dark but it's gorgeous!  To make it look more like a galaxy, I added some details with a white Posca pen. I don't have much luck with white gel pens but the Posca pen works quite well for me. If you want splatters, the Snowdrop White Paper Glaze might work a treat, seeing as it's shimmery too.  The Love Ya word die is cut out of matte black card stock and silver mirror card stock. It's adhered to the card with foam tape cut to shape using the die to cut it.  Well, that's it from me for today but I hope you like the cards and found some inspiration here!  Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and stay home if you can! MAD props to those of you keeping our societies going, I am so proud of you and so grateful to you!  BIG (germ free) HUGS from Erica

Sleeping Baby with Mindy Eggen

by Mindy Eggen on Apr 08 2020
Welcome everyone! It's Mindy Eggen with you today and I want to share with you my card featuring the new Sleeping Baby I first stamped the image in copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out and then added to a piece of Moonstone cardstock to create a blue blanket. On Blue Jay cardstock, I lightly ink blended clouds using the Layers of Clouds Stencil and Sea Salt Reactive Ink. Then flicked on Liquid Pixie Dust for sparkle. I attached my Sleeping Baby to my cloudy background and die cut with a Nesting Circle die. On white cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", I stamped the sentiment which is also found on the Sleeping Baby stamp set, in Blue Jay ink to tie in all of my blues. I finished it off by attaching my circle piece to the front of the card using foam squares. How absolutely precious right?! Such a great way to welcome a little one! Hello!  It's Sara from Much Love Sara, here to share some fun today.  Today I'm sharing a card, that has 3D embellishments made from Paper Glaze! Have you ever been playing with a product, and had a random "I wonder..." go through your mind?  This happened to me recently, with the Paper Glazes - I wondered how they would work in silicone molds.  So, I quickly dug out a mold, and filled a few spots with the Snowdrop White Paper Glaze.
