Let It Snow - Frolicking Winter Friends Scene
by Brenda Noelke on Nov 03 2022
Hello, Picket Fence friends!! Brenda here with you today to share a sweet winter scene card featuring the Frolicking Winter Friends Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping the adorable mice from the Frolicking Winter Friends Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.
The background was created by stamping the snow and snowbanks, also from the Frolicking Winter Friends Stamp Set onto a panel of white cardstock with Black Hybrid Ink. It was also colored with Copic markers. The trees from the Scene Building: Winter Wonderland Trees Stamp Set were stamped several times onto another piece of white cardstock with Black Hybrid Ink. They were also colored with Copics, fussy cut and adhered to the background with liquid glue. I splattered the panel with diluted white gouache and brushed some Sparkle Paper Glitz onto the trees and snow with a paintbrush. Once it was dry, I trimmed it slightly, then adhered it to an A2 panel of red cardstock, then a white card base.
The Let It Snow Word Die was cut once from red cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together with the red layer on top. I added some Snowfall Paper Velvet to the top edges of the letters with a palette knife. Once dry, it was adhered to the top of the card with liquid glue. The sweet mice were popped up with foam adhesive and I was finished.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by!! Have a great day!!

Hello everyone!! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this winter card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I used the "Frolicking Winter Friends" Stamps set that I stamped with "Black Hybrid ink pad" which is perfect for this type of stamps!
Then I painted all the images with alcohol markers and then with a white marker I glossed it to make it stand out.
Then i cut out the images using the "Frolicking Winter Friends" coordinating dies but you can carefully cut them out with scissors if you prefer.
Next I prepared the background: for this I used a white cardboard where I stamped with black ink the stamp "Scene Building Winter Scenery".
Then I cut it out and glued a black cardboard to it to make a frame.
For the sentiment I used the "Happy Day Word Topper Die" which I cut out of red and black cardstock and overlapped.
Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.
A huge kiss and until next time!

Hello, Picket Fence friends!! I hope this finds you all well!! I love sending funny Christmas cards to friends who have a good sense of humor!! When I saw the Name Off the Good List Stamp Set, I knew immediately who I would send it to!! I LOVE when that happens!! Let’s get to my card!!
I began by stamping the Santa and sentiment from Name Off the Good List onto white cardstock with black hybrid ink. I colored Santa with Copic markers, then cut it and the sentiment out with the Coordinating Dies.
For the background, I die-cut the A2 Evergreens On a Hill Cover Plate Die from heavyweight white cardstock. I mixed Winter Snowfall Paper Glaze with a bit of Sparkle Paper Glitz and spread it onto the bottom of the panel with a palette knife. I added some Leaf Green Paper Glaze to the trees with my finger, to create some texture.
Once that was dry, I adhered it to an A2 size panel of dark blue cardstock, then a white card base. I diluted some Winter Snowfall Paper Glaze and splattered it onto the background with a paint brush. That dried pretty quickly, then I adhered Santa and the sentiment with foam tape. The snowflakes are from the Letters to Santa Mix and were the perfect finishing touch for my scene!!
I love how this turned out!! How about you…do you like humorous or traditional cards for Christmas? I like to tailor them to the recipient and, like I said, I have the perfect person in mind for this one!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Tomorrow is the 14th and you know what that means…it’s RELEASE DAY!! YAY!!
Have a great Thursday!!

A Polar Bear Winter Celebration scene card
by Evgeniya Ishbul’dina on Sep 30 2022
Happy Friday, friends! Eugy here!
Today I’m sharing a quick New Year themed card featuring stamp set called A Polar Bear Winter Celebration from the September release!
After I prepared a blended background using Life Changing Blender Brushes, I created some light accent using the Winter Rings 6x6 Stencil and some darker inks.
Then I made a shaker and filled it with gorgeous A Classic Christmas Sequin Mix.
After that I stamped, die-cutted and colored these two cuties from stamp set. I love how this new year celebration scene turned out, soo cute!
Happy crafting and have a great weekend!

Hello there! It's pumpkin spice season!!! With that in mind, I created a card full of pumpkins. October is my favorite month and I pretty much love all fall related things...even in a non traditional fall palette.
For this mini slim line, I used Lots of Gourds Seamless Stamp, Witch Crafts Stamp Set, More Oak leaves Dies, More Maple leaves Dies, and Mini Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles Die .
I colored the pumpkins with Prisma Colored Pencils and added some paint splatter after the card was assembled.
I finished the design with some scattered sequins, A Classic Christmas.
Thanks for peeking!

Hello Lovely Crafty Friends, I am Sasha and I am so very honoured to be bringing you this blog post. This is my first time on the blog so please bare with me.
I am OBSESSED with shaker cards, honestly I can’t get enough of them!I am equally obsessed with the Picket Fence Studios sequin mixes so a card that features both is perfect! Make sure to check out the reel on the PFS Instagram to get a better idea of this
I like to call this type of shaker a floating edge shaker because it is fully transparent, let me know in the comments if you think it should be called something else.I started off by taking a DL plastic card/poly bag. The bag measures 10.5’ long x 4.5’ wide. I cut the card bag down to 6’ long, the width remains the same. I then cut a 6’ long x 4.5’ wide piece of acetate which will go inside the poly bag to add stability. TIP: if the acetate piece doesn’t fit inside the bag, just cut a sliver of it off.
I splattered the acetate with white acrylic paint then I stuck down a few sequins from the gorgeous plum pudding mix. Whilst that dried, I took a 5’ x 7’ card base and used the A2 Evergreens on a Hill cover plate to cut the card base down to about 4’ long. I then cut out 4 other die cuts of this cover plate. I ink blended 2 of the die cuts with some Prize ribbon and Wilted Violet distress oxides to create some snowy
To assemble the card, I put the acetate into the poly bag then added a bit of the plum pudding sequins before sealing it with double sided tape. I then stuck it down to the inside of the back part of the card base. To cover the tape, I stuck down one of the 4 cover plate panels over the taped area. To the front of the card I took a Santa’s Sleigh Ride snow globe die cut and cut it up so that the sleigh was separate from the houses. I stuck the houses down on the bottom part of the card, in front of the white trees then I propped up the ink blended panel on some foam tape and stuck that over
I finished the card off with the ink blended greetings die cut on the front the snowy trees and the ink blended sleigh over the acetate. I think this is a fun way to create a shaker card. It’s so super light and not bulky at all but most importantly it is magical with all those beautiful sequins! There will be a reel over on the PFS Instagram showing another example of an edge shaker and a Full Video Tutorial on my YouTube channel LOVE BUIlDS UP CRAFTS on Friday. Hope to see you there!
Crafty hugs, Sasha x

Hello there! It´s Silvana here and I´m so glad to be here again in the Picket Fence Studios. Today I´m sharing an interactive Halloween scene card featuring some new products of the new release.
The first product I used was the A2 Spooky Tree die which I cut in a textured black cardstock and panel the little houses with vellum paper. This card has lights behind the house that turnoson when you press the Halloween word.
I ink blended the background to make the night scene with the moon. With the Life changing Blender Brushes the transitions between colors are smooth and well integrated. Then I used then new A2 Cauldron of Bats stencil with the new Paper Glaze Velvet in Blackboard color.
The word Halloween is heat embossed with white embossing powder and it comes from the new Cat plays Fiddle to the Silver Moon stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
If you want to see the lights in action, be sure to check the post in my Ig account.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you in my next post,
Silvana.

Clean and Simple five-minute cards
by Evgeniya Ishbul’dina on Jul 29 2022

Happy Friday! Eugy here, today I’m sharing some Clean and Simple card ideas using the Fancy Life Events Sentiments stamp set (it has coordinating dies!) and other gorgeous products from the July release. All of my cards were super easy to make!
But first, just a little reminder that we have a Flash Sale on site (exclude the July release).
I made my first card using heart stamp from Ink Swatching stamp set. I was so excited to try this new stamp and I found it’s super fun and easy to use - I already created swatches for all my “inks for stamping”!
After I stamped my background, I added a sentiment and some glitter cardstock. Voila, my card is ready! To get beautifully blended two-tone gradient impressions, I used Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend ink before stamping. And the best thing about Fancy Life Events Sentiments stamp set is that it has coordinating dies!
For my second card, I prepared the card base by coloring it using ink pad technique. After that, I simply diecutted a white card panel with new gorgeous Opulent Negative Strip Die and mounted it on my pre-colored card base using 3d foam squares.
The sentiment stamped in black ink seemed too bright to me, and I muted it with some pearl embossing powder.
For my last card, I wanted something not usual, maybe some dry embossing effect. So I embossed white A2 panel with new Opulent Negative Strip Die (I use a standard sandwich for Cuttlebug), added colorful sentiment and some crystals for an extra sparkle.
As you can see, all those cards can be done in five minutes! Go check out the entire July release or Flash Sale!
Happy crafting and have a great weekend!

Hello everyone!! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to be here again on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this fall card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I used the "More Maple Leaves", "More Oak Leaves" and "More Ash Leaves" dies that i cut on gold and black cardboard.
Next I prepared the background: for this I cut the outside of the leaf dies and used them as a stencil. Then I randomly placed them in the background and painted them with Distress Oxide inks in earth tones. Then I was pasting the leaves on top, but with a little offset to give it a different touch.
For the sentiment i cut the "Good day to you word" die on gold cardboard and placed it in the center of the card.
And this is how the result was!
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.
A huge kiss and until next time!

Hi all friends, I am happy to be here on the blog with a new inspiration. In the June release came out this fantastic stamp..... A Hummingbird's Song and as soon as I saw it I had the idea how to make my own card.
I created the background by mixing 6 different shades of ink, then stamped with black embossing powder. I really like the silhouette effect and I think this stamp is perfect for this technique. To embellish, I used Sequin Mix Plus Day of RaimbowHave a great week!!!

Hello everyone!! I'm Laura and I'm very excited to make my second post on the Picket Fence Studios blog showing this rainbow card that I hope will inspire you!
To start I cut several pieces of the "Rainbow Slimline Die Cutting System Insert" out of white cardboard and then painted them with alcohol markers. I wanted to give prominence to the rainbow in the center so I painted it in stronger colors and the rest in pastel tones.
Then I prepared the background: for this I used a light blue cardboard simulating a sky that I pasted on a white cardboard and a black one to make a frame! 😊
Next I cut out the sentiment using the "Happy Day Word Topper Die" in black and white colors to make it stand out...
Finally I prepared the composition, glued all the pieces and added some "Gems Mixes Fire" and "Gems Mixes Oceans of Green" to give it a more glamorous touch.
I hope you like it and that it inspires you, I remember that you can find all these products and many others in the Picket Fence Studios store.

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a mini slim line card using the new Grunge Foliage stamp set. I am sold on the mini slim line design and the Picket Fence Mini Slim Line Double Stitched Rectangles Die Cutting System is my absolute favorite go to!!!
I use my Misti to do all my stamping and it comes in very handy for the seamless stamps. After I stamped the background with Goddess Green Ink on 3 ink, I added some paint splatter to the kraft cardstock panel. When dried, I aasembled the panels to the card base. I propped up the layer between the green cardstock and black card base with Foam Tape. I embossed the perfect sentiment, Kindness Matters, from the stamp set Fancy Daily Sentiments and Coordinating Die with silver embossing powder.
Some finishing touches include Green Seas Sequin Mix and black twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by for a peek!!! Hope you have a great week!
